At our NEXT Conference Limited Edition in September 2021, Timandra Harkness and David Mattin sat down for a one-on-one conversation. After Timandra explained how she came to maths and statistics from a rather creative background of theatre and circus, the two turned to the topics of Big Data, personalisation and their social implications: How can we retain the freedom and self-determination promised by the Personalised Century, but rebuild the community and solidarity we lost when we escaped from mass society?
