They plan scenes and sometimes do re-shoots but the show is entirely unscripted.

The first 2 are not mean technically. You can say what you actually think and it doesn’t have to be mean. Repeating the mispronounced word out loud isn’t mean, it can mean you think it’s funny. The mouth wash was 100% mean.
