Dayum bro! Looks nice as hell. I just ordered an m tech front bumper for my vert. Have been debating getting it painted or wrapping it myself. This video couldn’t have came at a better time rofl. Any idea what 3M matches BMW Titanium Silver? I read Satin Aluminum is the closest.
@@siadly I wish I could show you the final results! It looks extremely identical. I almost forget that it’s wrapped sometimes! Actually it’s on Reddit, I’ll post link here in a sec. lol nvm I deleted my Reddit. any who! Car looks great!
Hey great vid and nice job! Just curious how much wrap did you purchase to complete the entire car ? Would appreciate it, i have a 325i sedan and am considering wrapping it.
5 what? by 60 what? A roll that is 60 inches in width and 25 yards in length will be the best amount. It will allow you to make mistakes and still have enough material from the same roll as colors vary between rolls. it also the most cost effective.
@@adamsmalleymedia3023 dang, that's quite some time. thanks for the reply. I also want to wrap my car in the near future. I hope it won't take me any longer than it took you.
I used around 15 yards i think. Just buy a full 25 yard roll to have extra if you make a mistake. Or if the wrap gets damaged. You can replace a piece without having to buy more
How much wrap material did you used all in all? And do you have to change your car documents anything about the color or stuff? And how much it cost it also?
I used about 15 to 18 yards of material. I don't know exactly because I did have some mistakes. I didn't change any document pertaining to the car color. I bought a full roll of material and cost about $800
Very nice. Enjoyed watching this more than a pro vid before this. How u worked around the kinks.. Very smooth work. Keep it up.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!!
Wooow that turned out amazing mate, well done!
Thank you!
It's funny that you wrapped it silver when mine is silver and I want to wrap it black.
Same lol
Awesome job. Looks great!
Thank you! Cheers!
Hello, How many metres of foil are needed for the whole car? Thx

Thank you so much!
Looks dope
Nice work ,an,nice work man, how is it looking these days.
What if your old paint is peeling? I have a 2003 325i manual....I want to wrap it ..little body work though
my paint had rock chips ad when removed the wrap it pulled the clear coat off o the hood. but don't mind since ill sand it down and re wrap it.

Personally If I were you I would wrap the whole car to have cleaner and more matching look.
Satin finish gives you toally different look than carpaint. Chances that you will match wrap color to your paintjob are quite small unfortunately :(

I would buy a full roll to be safe.
Did you have to warm up the wrap before placing it in each panel or did you just rip it off and place it then use the heat gun
i didnt pre heat the wrap. i only used the heat gun to reset the wrap .
Looks clean! Ima wrap my soon how much did you pay for all the wrap ?
Thanks I appreciate it! I paid around $800 for the roll of wrap.
Dope
How much wrap was needed for the front bumper I’m planing on wrapping my bumper
I would order 4 yards. it will give you extra wrap and you can do one piece of wrap without seams if you want.
Wrap looks good dude. Do you wash the car the same or are you a little bit more careful now?
no automatic car washes anymore. but I hand wash it the same.
Will 5x60 be enough for that car because i have the same car
