I could be wrong, but my thinking in terms of the " I'll go out and make it or steal it, or take it." and the difference between stealing it or taking it is that if he's taking it, it's because someone offered it to him, versus just stealing it. I just make the connection between that line and in 'If I Loved You' when Julie sings "if I did have money, you couldn't take any 'cause you'd ask an' I'd give it to you!" ... like she's saying it's not taking (stealing) it because I'm giving it to you willingly. The language is similar, but if you really think about it like that, there is a slight difference with the meaning here and it makes that line in Soliloquy make a bit more sense. I hope I explained that in a way that makes sense to others ha.
