You don’t have to get the membership to get VIP most people just get it so they have a chance to get the closest option or before anything sells out but to get VIP it really all depends on how fast the venue sells out at the time! For VIP as well, you could buy resale, it may be more expensive and more like a risky thing but if you find someone trusted, you could also just buy resale but most of the time getting VIP tickets are usually floor seated so if you get anything floor related you may be vip I just say double check your ticket before buying it!!
