  • Yes you read the title correct, for my wedding I spent $349 on a Fetephone audio guest book. This is an unsponsored review, but here is the website if you want to rent one for your event: www.fetefone.com/
    Have a super spectacular day!

    Hello!!! We are using a FeteFone on Saturday! I was curious after your greeting was there a tone/beep? Thanks!

      Hey! Just from memory with my wedding being two years ago, I believe there was a beep there was a tone to indicate the guests to start speaking. I did make a poster on Canva with instructions to help people figure it out though. I believe I got the poster printed at Walmart for like $14.

    Hey, question. Did you find that you couldn't hear guests in the messages with the music in the background?

      Great question! Around the 1:00 mark you can hear some of my real recorded messages. At my wedding the dance floor was outside and and the phone was inside so I think that helped with noise significantly. It’s not an incredibly large venue though so there’s a bit of music in the background. I could hear everyone’s record nice a clear!

    So you don’t get to keep the phone??!

      Unfortunately no! You’re just essentially renting it as a recording device. It was very pretty and I loved hearing my recordings after they were delivered.

    I don’t see a option for digital instead of vinyl when you order the phone does it already come with that option ?

    • @lizzym9935

      Also where there a time limit of how long it would record ?

    • @BethanyLorene
      @BethanyLorene  2 года назад +1

      The company will email you a link to the digital files! You don't have to select the option. It comes included with the purchase of the phone.

      @@lizzym9935 this is a great question, and I can't seem to find the answer on their FAQs on the website! I thought I remembered reading that it was an hour or so of memory that is able to be stored on the device, but I can't find where I read that. Most of my guests only took a few seconds for their well wishes so I didn't even come close to an hour's worth of recordings. They were super responsive on Facebook though if you want an official answer from them!

      @@BethanyLorene I talked to them and each phone can hold more than SIXTEEN HOURS of actual recording time, not including the time between guests. So, in other words, there's no practical limit. My whole wedding isn't even going to last sixteen hours, so I really doubt people are going to talk that long.

    Where can we buy one of these phones to start our own audio book bussiness

      I think it’s more something you would have to rig up yourself but if you purchase a vintage phone that can hook up to an answering machine I think it would be completely possible. I do not have the technical skills unfortunately but I’m sure someone on this wonderful website does!
