Exactly 4 years ago during an EID celebration children were recorded reciting a poem in Arabic about beheading the enemies of Allah at an Islamic center in Philadelphia Usa.
The whole recording was posted on the face book page of the center.
Some people read it and began to talk of the harmful message it was conveying. The officials of the mosque were so embarrassed that they removed it immediately. But it was too late someone had already downloaded, translated it and released it to the media which published it.
Some wording of the poem went like this: WE WILL CHOP OFF THEIR HEADS, AND WE WILL LIBERATE THE SORROWS and blah, blah, blah

You cannot appreciate the value of a thing when you have no clue what tools to use to measure its uniqueness. No contest. And nearly the same concern for truth and justice. The might of their eloquence was unmistakable. They could manipulate emotions of love and anger. They could build or sink reputations. They could initiate wars.
The pre islamic Arab poets were people who wielded great power and a broken moral compass to guide and control it. They were preoccupied with love and war, with nothing more than ego, greed, and tribalism governing these enterprises as well as their versification of them.
In a society where one did not want to be on the wrong side of a powerful poet. *Islam did the unimaginable* .. In one verse it took all the poets to task for their waywardness. At the same time it made an exception for those who were committed to using the power of poetry in the service of virtue. Allah says,
*As for the poets, they are followed by the straying people. Did you not see that they wander in every valley, and that they say what they do not? Except those who believe and do righteous deeds and remember Allah very much, and defend themselves after they are wronged. And the wrongdoers will soon know to which place they are going to return* ..
This was a devastating blow to the errant behavior of the poets and their ignorant followers.

I was struggling with my faith for about 2 years, racked with doubts, sometimes I could not get to sleep thinking about it, but 3 years ago I asked a Christian on a youtube video comment section "where is the Trinity mentioned in the Old Testament"? He answered me, it is implied in Isaiah 48:16, I was sceptical but I used my smartphone to communicate on youtube with my left hand, and used my right hand single handedly to open up the Bible to look up this verse, I opened the page at random, it was Isaiah chapter 48, the fingertip on my index finger landed at random as I opened the Bible on verse 16, this is I believe God showing me, out of all the pages my fingertip lands on the very verse, and this is not a page I opened up before, as sometimes a page, on any book, can naturally open up on a page opened up frequently, but this page had not been opened before.
