I haven't found a way to add sections starting in the middle of a bar, yet, though
Right now section markers can only be added at the beginning of a measure in Prime.
@@loopcommunity thanks a lot for the response. We've had some songs where we were forced to take out the markers, since the song jumped by half a measure. So there's an improvement idea :) Alternatively, it would help, if there was a way to easily convert a 4/4 song to a 2/4 song so the markers could be set appropriately

This is great. but if you could figure out a way to transfer arrangement markers over from Logic, that feature would be the BOOOOMB! in any case i love this app!
Is there a way to add more custom markers? I noticed that there are select ones, but if I wanted to add for example "Refrain" or "Vamp" would it be possible to do? If so, how?
At the moment this isn't possible, but it's something we're working on. If you wanted to upload your own Cues track with the tracks and use those instead of adding section markers that would work, but then you wouldn't have sections. Hopefully we have an option for this soon!
How can I make markers on a 2/4 bar. It only snaps to the closest bar???
Unfortunately there isn't a way to do this right now. You ccan get around this however by changing the tempo in the Prime Cloud to 2/4, then mapping all oof your markers appropriately, then changing it back to 4/4.
What if I'm a pro plus user and "add markers/edit arrangement" isn't available for me in the app?
The ability to add section markers to your custom uploads will be implemented in a future update. If you have custom uploads with markers already in place, those should migrate successfully and you will have the ability to edit those arrangements. If you have a device that is currently still on Prime 6, you will be able to add markers there and your device running Prime 7 should update.
Sometimes the preset section markers in In-App purchased tracks aren't in all of the places I'd like them. (for example: maybe I only want the intro or outro to be half as long). Currently I am not able to edit those section markers. I can sometimes substitute a shorter turnaround from later in the song when I need something like this, but do you have any other suggestions? Thank you!
Unfortunately there isn't a way to make edits to the section markers of tracks purchased from Loop. However if there is one you believe to be incorrect, or you think another marker should be placed in a particularly long section of the song, reach out to our team at support@loopcommunity.com, and we can have it updated.
is there a way you can have the sections already prepared before importing into Prime? like a custom audio and having the sections already there
Unfortunately, not when uploading custom audio. Of course when you purchase a track from Loop, they will already be in place. If you are uploading audio as a personal track, you'll need to map them manually.

Im trying to add a marker to off the one...... when i go to save the markers default to the one? Is there a way to do that?
in Prime, you will only be able to place section markers on the downbeat of a given bar. If this presents issues for you, reach out to our support team at support@loopcommunity.com and we'll help you out!
I came across this platform late last year. here is what i am struggling with, when i edit Markers i cant move the white knob to the 3rd marker in the 1st Bar it will always choose 4th marker or 1st marker... is the another way around this?
Currently you can only add section markers to the first beat of each measure to your custom tracks in Prime. Our development team is looking into being able to add markers to any beat in a future update. Thanks for being a part of the community!

how do you make a custom song on prime
You are not able to create a custom song in PRIME. This would be just for uploading custom audio that you created in another software like Ableton Live or Logic. Or if you purchased a track from somewhere else.
if i purchased a track can I shorten the number of measures in the chorus or any part of it or no.
You can hit Edit Arrangement and delete sections in the song, but you can't shorten an individual section by a number of measures.
when I click edit song I don't get the grid. What do I need to do?
Hey Brandon, if you want to add markers to a custom upload song, click Edit Song, Edit Markers. Then you can add section markers to the track. Let me know if you still aren't able to see the grid.
@@loopcommunity hello, I am trying to edit markers, but it is in grey and I am unable to click on it. It is a Loop Kit I bought from Loop Comm.
@@fscanlan11 Unfortunately you aren't able to edit the markers of any tracks purchased from Prime, as these have been set in place by our team for the best structure. Sorry for the inconvenience!
