after doing this video, i was up late watching all the music producer reacts that we have on this channel ..from the 1st one all the way to the latest video. we've progressed so much in so little time, thank you for being here for the journey! it's only the beginning!!!
Just turned on the notification bell, bcs until now I've seen all your videos on recommendations, but with so many good uploads I wanna check them out immediately 👍
Suga said that actually he produced seesaw for BTS but its end up become his solo song in BTS album. This song is so addicting. Suga definitely talented producer.
Because at the moment he heard that they gonna do solos again in their album, he decided to use this song as his solo. You can watch his vlive(live streaming) where he talked a bit about his song. Its the beginning of the video. ruclips.net/video/HCAJynKYRr4/видео.html
It's because the side A of this album (Love Yourself: Answer) tells a story: Falling in love -> Trying to be everything one thinks the person they love deserves aka not your true self -> Heartbreak -> Realizing that what was needed all along (the Answer) was accepting oneself as they are, without hiding their true self to please others and finally working towards self-acceptance and self-love. This album is the conclusion of "Love Yourself: Her" and "Love Yourself: Tear" and it combined songs from these two albums with 7 new songs. 3 out of the seven songs are solo songs by the rappers and they all fit in different stages of the storyline presented through side A: J-Hope - Trivia 起 Just Dance: The term 起 is used to describe the first out of the four steps of storytelling composition: introduction. As the song is the second in the album, it talks about the fluttery feeling of being in love and sharing your passion (dancing) with that person you care for (beggining stages of falling in love) RM - Trivia 承 Love: The term 承 is used to describe the second out the four steps of storytelling composition: development. This song is put as the sixth on the album and finds us already having been dropped in the middle of an establishing relationship where that person's mere existance fells as the centre of the Universe, connecting our reason to live to being able to love: "I live so I love". But this stage also comes with self-worth problems, with questioning what would happen if that love were to end. Suga - Trivia 轉 Seesaw: The term 轉 is used to describe the third out the four steps of storytelling composition: the turning point (something that affects the outcome of the story) This track is the 11th out of the 16 songs on side A that tells the story. At this point, after songs like Singularity, Fake Love and The Truth Untold, the love has been recognized as unhealthy, with mask metaphors implying their need to hide their true selves in order to be worthy of love and losing their own identity in the process. The song continues that trajectory with the lyrics signaling the relationships' lack of investment and its upcoming doom: "How conniving can a heart of a person be/ Though we know one will get hurt if the other is not there/ Because we both don't want to be the bad guy/ We continue to awkwardly pass the buck/...Let's stop now." Now as the first three symbols in the storytelling process have been covered, the fourth one, 结, (conclusion/epilogue) actually appears in the name of the album: "LOVE YOURSELF 結 'Answer" and it represents both the album (the conclusion of the trilogy) and the 16th and last song on side A, "Answer: Love Myself": "If you look at it a certain way,/ It's harder loving yourself than loving someone else./ Let's be honest and admit what we have to admit/ That your standards are harsher when they are applied to you". As to why Suga decided to make this his solo song is because he was the last one out of the rappers to write the lyrics for the song and as each as the rappers had to make a song revolving around the first three out of the four steps out of the storytelling process, the only one left was the turning point (轉), and he totally knocked it out of the park both lyrically and production-wise, as it's currently one of my favorite songs off the album.
oooohhhh ok i had no idea ; she must've been the one in the background doing those layered harmonies ...that's my favorite part of the song (besides the guitar lol)
When you said it was like some "retro dance type beat" you're right. Suga did say that Seesaw was supposed to be a dance song intended to be sang by the whole group.
And then he goes and decides he's going to do choreography for this song on tour. Talk about being Jungshook; I almost fell on the floor when I saw the fancam of his performance of this song from the opening concert in Seoul the day after the album dropped. I never expected him to do a solo with choreography.
When Suga get himself involved more heavily in producing and composing song we always get interesting tracks like "134340" or "Tomorrow", "Wine"by Suran,
Suga is a rapper in bts..he shook all of Army singing..we didn’t know he could sing like this..he is a hardcore rapid fire rapper and then he sings this soft song..Suga is a genius and writes at least 300 songs a year...😁😁😁😁👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
@@taestummyenthusiast1147 Tysm! I've been wanting to know how do that, it looks cool! I love your comment about Adora, she does have an amazing voice!! 😄

Joey (Lucky Boy) Nato They are very versatile because that’s what happened to their career. As you may know, they have started through a strictly hip hop group. But slowly as they went popular, they went and explored genres. Think of it like Gorillaz, they can’t really be pin pointed. They just fit into everything in some way.

I feel sorry for American radio stations that don't air Idol. Only major channels air Idol on regular basis. Everyone in the industry knows BTS is the biggest boy band in the US as well as the world though. I know the reason why they don't.. It's not just language barrier thing.
BTS always drops solo songs on every album so each member has their moment to shine. This one is just Suga's, one of the 3 rappers and it's actually the only song where he sings all throughout (or at least the one where he sings the most). Last time you reacted to Jimin's solo "Lie", so I guess you have 5 more members to go regarding checking out some solos. You should do the other two Trivia songs since you already did this one (just saying) =) Your videos are just so enjoyable! Keep it up.
They haven't always done this, though. Up until Wings there were no solo songs on their albums, only group songs and line songs (rap line/ vocal line). The only 'solo songs' were the intros done by solo member of the rap line in Dark & Wild (namjoon's "Intro: What am I to you") and HYYH Part 1 (Yoongi's "Intro: The Most Beautiful Moment In Life") and Part 2 (Yoongi's "Nevermind").
That's true. I guess "always" wasn't the right adverb of time to use. I actually was going to add "ever since their Wings album", but I left it out for some reason. Thanks for the comment though; knowledge and clarification are always welcome here. =)
Every time I watch one of your videos -- especially those about BTS's music :-) -- the one thing I want is to be a fly on the wall when the band's music producer and his or her team are planning how to orchestrate a song: what goes into the decision to use this or that instrument, when and what non-instruments to use instead (clapping, chopped up vocals), the combination of instruments to create a unique, suitable, alluring, stimulating beat, how to build up the sound, when to go down, and a myriad other tidbits. It's fascinating listening to you dissect the music. Wouldn't it be something if Big Hit actually releases a video showing the planning phase for SeeSaw, for instance, and then compare how well what took place matches your analysis? But thanks very much and keep 'em coming!
thank you so much for saying that ; & yes it's fascinating when you take a complete project or body of work and break it down into tiny pieces. those tiny pieces put together create these songs that you love & enjoy w/ out 2nd thought ...it's pretty amazing and that's why i love the concept of creating music.

There are no words to say how much I love this song. It by far is my favorite song right now, and I have listened to it everyday for 6 weeks without getting tired of it. That says something lol
This is one of my favorite songs by BTS! Thanks for the description of the music elements, I will listen to the song in a different way now and definitely will be more enjoyable 💜
Ty for recognizing this young mans talent. He wrote the music and the words to this song. He is like you he sits down to his piano or his keyboard and just starts working and figuring it. Much respect for you.
Education time: this song is part of the trivia series which are 3 totally different songs that form part of a story. Part one is Trivia Just dance (by Jhope) which is about 2 people meeting and falling in love then Trivia Love (by RM) is about a person starting to question the relationship they are in and in Trivia Seesaw (by Suga obviously) is about him saying that they need to end it because the relationship has become tedious. Okay, I'm late but I only just discovered you and I thought I would share, bye :)
Awww thank you for reviewing the musical technicalities of Seesaw. It's always refreshing to watch you breakdown the elements of how their songs were produced and explained it in a way that someone like me will understand it (I don't have music bg). Thank you. Suga start with MIDI feom age 13th 🤩 The lyrics is meaning deep.. 😎👏💜💜💜 Hmm.. at minutes 6:14 she start to sing, there is a female vocal sing background right? Well... she is Adora.. she is the first female producer at Big Hit Entertainment and she is usually featured in many of BTS's songs.. she also The female vocal you may hear in this song Trivia:Seesaw SUGA'S also is Adora ( one of Big Hit producer)😎 here some tracks that she have participate are 134340, ephiphany, daydream, home, euphoria, airoplane pt.2, magic shop, scenery, serendipity, am fine, so what, jamais vu also at jhope song "EGO", ets.. well you can hear also her hidden vocal there😉👏👏 Back to suga, he is steady song writer.. he did produce for singer suran with song title "wine" and rcvd an award for producing her song🥰.. let see if suga rcvd the same as he also work with IU at her song "eight" 😉🤩😎
Turn on the notification too! Happy that I found your channel and know more about the instrumental view on BTS music from a profession producer!! btw love the new short music/chords tip you added in the video, really learn a lot!! 💕💕
Ooffff could you please react to BTS's J-Hope's mixtape Hope World, I'd be really interested to hear your thoughts on Either Hope World or P.O.P pt1 but really any reaction to his mixtape (or all songs, his entire mixtape is only 20 minutes long 😱😇) would be great. I know NOTHING about production so I find your reactions really refreshing and interesting.
Geez, I always learn so much about the music that I hadn't paid attention to before when I watch your reactions (and the professional musicians react stuff, but it's cool how you're both talking about the music but come at it from two totally different angles)
I’m so happy to see this reaction of yours 😍😍😍 I’ve been looking for a reaction to BTS songs that will comments about their music themselves like which describes the instuments used, the beat and everything about sensitivity to music itself. BTS deserves to be appreciated not just by their lyrics, personalities and killer choreos, but the quality of their music which attracts me even more. I will be having a marathon of your reaction videos then 😉 also this is just a recommendation but since you mentioned about the baseline and Bruno Mars style, hope you could react to BTS Pied Piper. It’s one of their most favorited songs with great baseline 👍🏻

thank you so much ; & i BET he has wrote songs in even shorter times than that!! however he does do a lot of switch ups with his flow throughout the song, so i can see how this one may of took a little more time to write. he hasn't disappointed me yet...none of them have. they probably never will, but still lol
I don't know about the technical part of music making, I am just a BTS music fan, but watching you commenting on the music details makes me appreciate this song even better
*I want his headphones*
If you liked that vibe you should react to *pipe piper* (BTS) 💜🙏
Or 134340, it also has a similar vibe and another cameo from the girl singing in this song (Adora) who is also a producer for bts
YEEEES PLEASE

Your song To the Top is such a catchy tune ... I can't get it out of my head!!!

I've been listening to this song on repeat for the past few days. Suga's vocal and the melody is just so lit.
I know right, i really like the raspy sound of his voice in certain parts of this song. It sounds like he is pouring his soul into this song.

I love the fact that you actually analyse the songs you react to, thank you so much, definitely worth that subscribe
Your reactions are a pluss (+++++) to my love for bts. Thanks..... I really love your point of vew.
BEST reaction to Seesaw EVER!! Thank u so much for this one! Suga talked about his song a few days ago in a live, he said that he had the melody done, but the song was made in a couple of days, like 2 days! He’s amazing! I still get so impressed by his versatility, hes mainly a rapper but now he sings and dance too! God, I can talk all day about him, but thanks so much for recognize his talent! ♥️ I learned a lot!

I love your reaction~
This song was produced by Sugar Lyrics, composition, and production.
Sugar said it was the most popular melody.
As an amateur producer and a lover for BTS it’s always nice to see another producer with more experience than I react to artist I adore and love😭💜
I love Suga coz he can rap, dance, sing, produce and is a genius
THIS SONG IS THE BEST, IT'S MY FAVORITE ONE IN THE ALBUM, IT'S JUST AMAZING, AND THE LYRIC UFFF! LOVED IT
Am always happy with your reactions Joey ! You're professional 😍😍😍😍😘
I love the snare snaps? The beats make me clap. Such a beautifully produced song, one of my favorites on this album.
Please react to Voodoo Doll and Chained up by VIXX or Save Me and I'm Fine by BTS!
There are no words to say how much I love this song. It by far is my favorite song right now, and I have listened to it everyday for 6 weeks without getting tired of it.
That says something lol
Please react to Singularity by BTS (V), I’d love to hear your thoughts on it!
I love how you appreciate every element incorporated in the song like wow...
The echo you have on your voice is really satisfying
lol are you listening with headphones? i didnt think many people would notice it!
@@JoeyLuckyBoyNato yeah man gotta get that quality listening experience
This is one of my favorite songs by BTS! Thanks for the description of the music elements, I will listen to the song in a different way now and definitely will be more enjoyable 💜
Seesaw is my favorite song from this album tho, So beautiful
Thank you. Yoongi/Suga is my bias/fave. 💜 He loves making music.
I'm following you across several RUclips accounts lol. BUT OMG JOEY THAT SONG YOU USED AT THE END OF THE VIDEO SOUNDS REALLY GOOD
lol what?! why do you have several accounts? lol i have a lot of accounts too..but still..lol & thank you so much, hopefully you find time to listen to the full song! it's called "to the top"
@@JoeyLuckyBoyNato Haha 😅 my accounts are for ARMY fandom goals whenever the boys comeback with a new album 😊 oh I heard the first part of To The Top before. Definitely will check it out now 😊 btw thank you for another reaction! ❤
I’m actually learning so much watching your reactions! Thank you so much for continuing these ❤️❤️
Again such a cool video! You're so cool and so funny! The reactions are always full of love and appreciation towards kpop!
I would like to see you make rap reactions of kpop!
Btw, my fav part is the shut up meme 😂😂😂😂
yes!!!! lol im glad you like those parts of the videos ..i put a lot of time into the editing. and my rap reactions (im not sure if you've seen them) are videos of me actually rapping about the video im watching. so maybe i can do a rap reaction to a documentary or behind the scenes video or something like that!
@@JoeyLuckyBoyNato Thanks for responding! You're awsome 👍❤
Watching your videos Joey gives me a better meaning in the production of music. I RESPECT THAT
React to BTS - Run
That song is a masterpiece!!
I'm doing Music at school and I learn so much from you while still listening to BTS. Amazing video btw! I love how you don't miss out anything. :) clearly shows how much effort you put into these vids.
U feeling the feels Joey? Suga created this song, yea he's part of BTS but this is his solo song so the credits goes to him 💙
I really love how you get in depth w your reaction. I've seen other ytbers who simply say they liked it and end it, like wtf
Could you react to - Agust'D (Suga from BTS) "So Far Away" (feat. Suran) -👍😵😍❤️💜🐥🙏🙏🙏
Superrr enjoying your reaction though..
This is great song, produce, write by suga..
Suga start with MIDI feom age 13th 🤩
The lyrics is meaning deep.. 😎👏💜💜💜
Hmm.. at minutes 6:14 she start to sing, there is a female vocal sing background right? Well... she is Adora.. she is the first female producer at Big Hit Entertainment and she is usually featured in many of BTS's songs.. she also The female vocal you may hear in this song Trivia:Seesaw SUGA'S also is Adora ( one of Big Hit producer)😎 here some tracks that she have participate are 134340, ephiphany, daydream, home, euphoria, airoplane pt.2, magic shop, scenery, serendipity, am fine, so what, jamais vu also at jhope song "EGO", ets.. well you can hear also her hidden vocal there😉👏👏
Back to suga, he is steady song writer.. he did produce for singer suran with song title "wine" and rcvd an award for producing her song🥰..
let see if suga rcvd the same as he also work with IU at her song "eight" 😉🤩😎
Love your reactions and how you explain everything🎶
Please react to woodie gochild's cotton candy 🙏💙
Notif squad! ♥️
So glad you liked suga’s Seesaw. It’s one of my favourite from the new album. X
"They had someone who plays the guitar that went in the studio and improvised"
THATS JIN LMAO! 😂😂😂
Love your reaction ❤
This song, hands down is my favourite song of the album💜
Love your reactions as always. I really think you should check House of Cards by BTS..
