Riverhill Himalayan Gardens - Virtual Wedding Tour 2020

Whilst we are unable to meet in person we realised that many couples would like to use this time to progress with their wedding plans, turning the situation into a positive one and giving them something wonderful to look forward to. We found that they felt frustrated at not being able to move forward with the planning so we created this little video in an attempt to convey some of the magic and unique charm of our gardens.
The video is designed to give you an idea of some of the many possibilities at Riverhill. As a dry hire venue we pride ourselves on the freedom our couples have here to design and create a day that is truly unique to them. with only 8 weddings per year we keep the experience bespoke, personal and friendly, with the added bonus that not many of your guests will have been to us before.
We are licenced for ceremonies for up to 120 guests so you can have the whole day in one gorgeous location (or choose to come to us after your ceremony for your reception). Our Walled Garden is the most popular location for ceremonies, with its romantic rose covered Himalayan Hut for the ceremony, bubbling fountains and sculptural terraces for your guests to wander on with their bubbly, it never fails to wow. It is also the perfect spot for welcome drinks and canapes, the enclosed nature of the Walled Garden mean that your guests are all together, creating a wonderfully secluded and private party atmosphere.
We also have our charming Garden Room with over hanging balcony and pretty views over the jungle area. This is a wonderful ceremony location, or if you prefer, we will always keep it free for you just in case of bad weather.
Our vast marquee lawn has ample space for even the most elaborate of marquee set ups, with space left over for seating or entertainment. We always leave two weeks between weddings to make sure that our lawn remains pristine. The view of Riverhill House to one side and rolling fields to the other make for a grand setting with an intimate feel. Your guests will love relaxing by the Old Summer House or taking a glass of bubbles for a wander into the gardens.
We are a huge hit with wedding photographers who love our endlessly romantic backdrops, don't forget to come for a recce with them before hand to get some ideas.
We don't charge corkage here and dancing and music can go on until midnight. As a dry-hire venue we supply the location, you get to select the rest. We have an excellent suppliers list for your caterer and marquee company, the rest is totally up to you, but if you would like suggestions please just ask.
