I started mine with two strand twist as well back on 9/07/2022. So i just made 18-months and only about 1/4 of my hair is locked 🔒. But everybody thinks I have sisterlocs because my loctician started them so small. 😅 a lot of people dont think two strand twists are a way to start locs, so they just go straight to sisterlocs. Not realizing they will all look the same at the end. But to each their own. Im glad I started with them because when I look back Its going to be amazing 👏 😊. But man, she already locked they look so good 👍🏾. I have awhile to go..😅
I'm diy on my extra small locs. You actually gave me grace when you said soft hair you kind of interlocked it. I'm 3 months into the game and at 2 months I learned how to interlock my hair just to keep it together. I'm scared it's going to make my locs limp in that area. I didn't do them tight though. Her hair is Beautiful

I know that I have asked you before about using cuban twist hair to start my micro locs with us this a good choice for me I still have relaxed hair but it's been about 3 or 4 months since I had one

Do you recommend braiding and banding every night when starting microlocs or just when shampooing?
Usually just when shampooing but if you sweat at night then do it then as well

The install was about 4-6 hours (don't remember the exact time it took). Her retie takes 1.5 hours
