they are adding all paras, my best guess is that it would generate crates like brf’s and store a fraction of the money it makes like banks for interests. it also generates lives and probably auto-collects
the thing is though, a farm paragon would be pretty much useless. By the time you'd be able to afford it (assuming it's in the 300-500k price range) you could also afford a good monkeyopolis, which may not give as much as paragon would but it certainly would give enough so that money isn't an issue. You also don't need to calculate every single banana farm, how much they cost and how much money they made if you're going Opolis, you only care about how many BRFs you can squeeze in its radius. In short, Monkeopolis does the same job as a hypothetical farm paragon unless you'd want to go super deep into lategame and buy 20 different other paragons, it also requires way less thinking.
your thinking is wrong, it is good because it gives you +1 hearts but it doesnt make it any better thank banks which give you more money to stop you from losing lives.
In my previous btd6 experience, aren’t 023 (compared to 203 marketplaces) marketplaces more profitable??? Or is there some boss strategy I’m not aware of?
The 023 marketplaces do make more money vs 203 *but* you need the on hand money to get valuable bananas *and* the marketplace immediately for it to be more profitable(a 200 farm makes more money than a 020 and the profit increases are spread across two upgrades vs one in valuable bananas). By starting with 200 banana farm spam, then converting them into 203s, you maximize your profit in the first 40 rounds. Beyond round 40, your money snowballs enough to where you *can* buy 023 farms upfront and should. tl;dr 200 farms are a stronger base farm at the start of a boss event compared to 020 or 002s. 203s are bought in the early game because of a lack of cash, not because of efficiency.
Can you make optimal strategy about IMF loan with ability? Is it better to use extra money from the ability to make more IFM loans? Or to deposit into banks?
*Video idea:* Make a guide for farms in BTDB2 (best path, best crosspath, comparisons, strategies) since they are pretty different compared to BTD6 ones.
you can also go with a single 030 bank and upgrade to 032 when you sell it. 030 is more cost efficient than 230, though it's slower and the buildup is worse. For a 1 bank strategy, however, it should be better in theory.
Ok, I tested this with IMF loan as well (though I didn't think to get the upgrade until after I already pulled out cash from the bank. Getting the bank on a round where it could fill IMF loan's increased storage would yield even crazier returns.) With 6 markets and a 042 imf loan, taking out the loan and then selling it, while under the influence of a flavored trades, I had just over 57k on r40. 51k when the $6500 debt was accounted for. I didn't even sell the flavored trades, but if I had it would be even crazier. Maybe my numbers are off, but that money seems insane. Sadly it's less viable for this week's boss since my boy Ben isn't allowed. But damn if you came up with this idea yourself then you are some kind of genius.
Okay so I tried a run myself. Resort, medium, benjamin. I bought 5 2/0/0 farms, upgraded one to 2/0/3 at around round 24-25, had to sell a 2/0/0 (upgrading to 2/0/2 first) to afford the bank at the start of 27. Afterwards i upgraded the rest to 2/0/3 and bought two more 0/2/3 and then favored trades. My defense was dart monkey, tack shooter that I eventually made 3/0/2 at round 28, and a 0/1/2 boat at round 33. I sold all the banana farms and ended up with $52383 and 201 lives and of course my remaining towers (inc. favored trades)
@@BigDBrian i hope you meant favored trades and not trade empire! But yeah that's still pretty awesome. I never thought bottom crosspath on bank would have a practical use, hell even before bosses I never ever used marketplaces. But now both have their place in meta farming strategies!
Market places are just easier to use and you can’t really beat that, a lot more work for $2000 extra is not worth it plus you can beat the boss with the old farming method easily, so you don’t need extra cash, but thanks for testing this out for us.
Yeah, if you are already winning as is then it's fine. On a harder map this could be useful as that 2k will definitely snowball though the run giving you way more money for the tier 3-5
Where do the bloons go when they fall into the bloon trap? And how do they float into the trap when the trap is (seemingly) grounded while bloons float?
Wait wouldn't monkey knowledge also affect this because of the bigger banks monkey knowledge that would then let the bank get more intreast and more money?
so is this whole bank calculation based on having benjamin? hence he is not available in the current lych run is it better to go with 5 x marketplace instead?
Is it advisable to get 2-0-3 farms because the build-up is accessible via already existing 2-0-0 farms? Or should i still strive to get 0-2-3 farms because they're more efficient?
shower thoughts: If a x3x druid can pop a test balloon, why cant it one shot any balloon over a ceramic? Is the thorn too small or does it lose motivation when it sees a big balloon?
with all these farming ideas, what would be the ultimate farming formula? is it better to get miniopolis or boat farm? if this video has the best early game farm then you could get monkeyopolis earlier.
The only time you’d wanna go middle path is if you save up enough money to immediately upgrade a farm from 000 to 023, otherwise if you place down a farm as soon as you have enough money, when working your way up to a market place it’s better to go with the top path first because the farm makes you more money before it becomes a marketplace.
I instead go to late game and spam hundreds of 420 farms with bottom path tier 5 village with bottom path villages spam with XXXL trap max support sacrifice 520 Super Monkey with each of tier 5 banana farms with ultraboost boosting farms with tons of jungle's bounty including t5 and special operations and spamming bottom path buccaneers on water with elite sniper and benjamin as hero and energizer to finish it off
#showerthought Where the heck do these monkeys get all the ammunition from? Some like Boomerang Monkey make some sense because the boomerangs usually return, but then you got so many other towers that fire infinitely even though you would likely only have a limited supply of ammo on hand if it was real life.
Nope. I stopped getting banks after 2 because they wouldn't have time to fill up. And that also meant that I could build another IMF in time. Plus the loans don't stack perfectly
I love how bosses completely changed the farming meta from "just spam banks" to a convoluted mix of all three farming paths + making merchantmen a relevant farming strategy.
Is it better? Yes. Does it give relevant use to all paths? Yes. Is it good for the sweats? No. Is it more complicated? Yes
Here are the outcomes of my test runs:
5 Marketplaces: $42,302
1 Bank + 4 Marketplaces: $44,087
7 Marketplaces: $44,437
1 IMF + 4 Marketplaces: $51,089 ($6,454 of Debt) = $44,635
2 Banks + 3 Marketplaces: $46,222

you can also go with a single 030 bank and upgrade to 032 when you sell it. 030 is more cost efficient than 230, though it's slower and the buildup is worse. For a 1 bank strategy, however, it should be better in theory.
I'm gonna try this
Ok, I tested this with IMF loan as well (though I didn't think to get the upgrade until after I already pulled out cash from the bank.
I'm going to have to try this
Okay so I tried a run myself.
No matter what I’m still not going to be able to beat t5 elite bloonarius XD
Rip
What is the best HERO to use in a BOSS Battle (excluding Ben) ?
I like Sauda for the easy early game
@@Hbomb cool man thanks for answering
Where do the bloons go when they fall into the bloon trap? And how do they float into the trap when the trap is (seemingly) grounded while bloons float?
Haha, I like it
Since bloonarius is easy, and lych’s life taking abilities, Markerplaces will always outperform banks.
The lives are nice, but you can always get those with 0-2-4s once you fill out a monkeyopolis
Wait wouldn't monkey knowledge also affect this because of the bigger banks monkey knowledge that would then let the bank get more intreast and more money?
so is this whole bank calculation based on having benjamin? hence he is not available in the current lych run is it better to go with 5 x marketplace instead?
shower thought: How do you sell bananas that come from marketplaces? Do they get sold to random citizens?
Is it advisable to get 2-0-3 farms because the build-up is accessible via already existing 2-0-0 farms? Or should i still strive to get 0-2-3 farms because they're more efficient?
shower thoughts: If a x3x druid can pop a test balloon, why cant it one shot any balloon over a ceramic? Is the thorn too small or does it lose motivation when it sees a big balloon?
Vine too small, happens to the best of us
Vine too small, lmao
Yea
The reason I was wondering is because what if there was an army of vines.
@@riboy1233 sure there can be many vines, but none is large enough to deathhug a moab
Is there a monkey geneva convention? Was there a monkey world war 2? Nuclear weapons exist in BTD6 so there had to be a reason to make them right?
with all these farming ideas, what would be the ultimate farming formula? is it better to get miniopolis or boat farm? if this video has the best early game farm then you could get monkeyopolis earlier.
I go into a monkeyopolis, but I'm sure it depends on the map
Fun fact: mid path market place gives more money then top path
Yessir. And it is cheaper
Banks are confusing, I prefer using top or bottom path because I get how to use them.
Fair enough
Me who uses 4-2-0 farms and doesn’t understand the other two options: wat
the market place does produce more with the middle crosspath (:
The only time you’d wanna go middle path is if you save up enough money to immediately upgrade a farm from 000 to 023, otherwise if you place down a farm as soon as you have enough money, when working your way up to a market place it’s better to go with the top path first because the farm makes you more money before it becomes a marketplace.
Yup. But it has a worse build up
top path banana farm: am I a joke to you?
Yes you are
Top path for me is the best and i'm not changing my mind
Could you make a video covering bank deposits? They are so confusing
Sure!
Also which one makes more valuable bananas or top path on the market place
with no monkey knowledge:
They are exactly the same
With monkey knowledge
023 is slightly better
The 0-2-3 makes more but has a worse build up. That is why you see 0-2-4s later in runs, but 2-0-3s at the beginning
Both together :) I always have a bank and a market
They do make a good combo
@@Hbomb yeah you can get a lot of banks easily and with like 5 bank full you can buy a 320 super monkey if you are a simp of it or something
Which marketplace crosspath is better?
2-0-3s when building them from scratch. 0-2-3s if you can afford the whole thing
But doesn’t a valuable banana also make more money then the other one would it make sense to sell it in order to go for it?
Valuable banana does make more money. I'm not sure what you mean by sell it in order to go for it though. Sell a marketplace?
I instead go to late game and spam hundreds of 420 farms with bottom path tier 5 village with bottom path villages spam with XXXL trap max support sacrifice 520 Super Monkey with each of tier 5 banana farms with ultraboost boosting farms with tons of jungle's bounty including t5 and special operations and spamming bottom path buccaneers on water with elite sniper and benjamin as hero and energizer to finish it off
Now that'll make some serious dough
I haven't used banks in so long
They're so good though
@@Hbomb I should probably use banks again, I got addicted to marketplaces 😂
Ok wait. If you have the mk to deposit money in the bank. You can deposit everything you're not using increasing the effectiveness of the bank right?
You can't deposit into banks anymore. Only the tier 4s, which I did deposit into
@@Hbomb ohhhh ok
Can you please do a video on glaive lord crosspaths
I suppose that one has been waiting a while
At which round do you get the bank and imf loan?
I think it was 37 or 38
What about the mk that gives you the ability to deposit money in banks?
It only works on Tier 4 banks now
@@jacrispy3973 thx, forgot
I used that on the IMF loan. If it still worked on banks they would be much better
#showerthought Where the heck do these monkeys get all the ammunition from?
Some like Boomerang Monkey make some sense because the boomerangs usually return, but then you got so many other towers that fire infinitely even though you would likely only have a limited supply of ammo on hand if it was real life.
Of course it's the monkeyopolis
Very true
@@Hbomb I'm always sayin facts my guy
Ben and 042 is best strategy. If you good macro
Deposit go brrr
Hbomb is a wizard. The only time I have used banks in the last two years are during impopable games, every other time I use the other two paths.
I had to stand up for my boy the bank. He was being disrespected by the community
@@Hbomb by the community and by NK
In conclusion: sseth's strategy is the best
Sure!
Where plantation are you saying this is how i start farming in boss runs
Plantation is in not a way to start a boss run
Plantations make for horrible starts but build into BRFs which are great late game
Have u tried to use only IMF banks?
Nope. I stopped getting banks after 2 because they wouldn't have time to fill up. And that also meant that I could build another IMF in time. Plus the loans don't stack perfectly
Why do you sell the farms, isn’t it better to keep them the whole time into free play? Or is that not the way for free play?
He sells them so he can buy defenses to beat the boss in the boss event. He mainly talked about farming for boss events in this guide
