DVC Moonlight Magic at Disney's California Adventure 2023 - Disney 100 Years of Magic

We decided to take off on a 24-hour adventure to the Happiest Place on Earth to attend the first DVC Moonlight Magic Event back at Disneyland! We flew out after work on Wednesday evening and headed straight to Disney's California Adventure Park! We arrived about 90-minutes before the party officially started and decided to head into Avenger's Campus to see the Dr. Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts show. We kicked off the official start of the Moonlight Magic event with a visit to Cars Land followed by a stroll through the Lunar New Year Marketplaces. We got in a few rides on Goofy's Sky Coaster and did a back-to-back-to-back ride on the Incredicoaster, visited with some Pixar characters, and ended the night with the World of Color - One show. We had an interesting experience using the food vouchers at the event that resulted in a midnight stack at 2 AM back at the hotel... but... overall we had a magical night and are so glad we decided to do this one-night adventure to Disneyland!

The food situation was rough, made worse by the fact that most food in that area also closes around 10-11pm. I hope for this year's Moonlight Magic the planners thought a bit more about how to process food vouchers. It was painful for everyone involved, the cast, the guests, management, and security. Though I got to experience something that I have never seen even vlogged, the gate shutting behind me as we were the last people out of the park. That was pretty cool.
