Those salt and pepper shakers were Arcadia miniatures, that's the Merry Christmas set, and they can be quite collectible amongst enthusiasts. I used to have the Happy Birthday 🎂 set, but cannot remember if I sold them or they were a pair that broke. 🤔 Such a fun shopping trip Amie, thanks for taking us along.
I sure loved 😍 that wedding display. So many pretty things. Any, I would like to do a hanky skirt on one of my dress forms. Did you notice how they put that together by any chance? It is such a great idea!
Growing up in the fifties and sixties in a small town, my father owned the local soda fountain. He used the purple containers of Borden's ice cream. Once every quarter, they sponsored a special event to announce the new flavor featuring the real, live Elsie the cow. Of course I didn't know she was actually one of the waitresses in the costume. I bragged that Elsie was really my big sister. My dreams were dashed when I was about five and caught the waitress behind the building holding Elsie's head under her arm while smoking a cigarette.
The Betty Fairy looks familiar. MINE😂 I have started a small collection of vintage hats. Love them! I have always wanted an Elsie the Cow. Thjs place had some nice unusal items.🩷🩷
