1 tin polar fish and 1 cup rice is like 3$ and last you a day

John, you are a brave soul we’re trying the snacks! These videos make me laugh and I always learn something new. My 10 year old son and I enjoy watching these together. I appreciate the fresh segment you had at the end with the video footage and the educational material. Thank you for your hard work on these videos and creating these enjoyable moments for your viewers.

They’re larger versions of the one of the 20+ species we call sardines

The only thing wrong with this tin is the oil it's packed in, Canola (Rapeseed). I only eat canned fish in olive oil.

I hadn’t noticed that yet! It does explain a difference in flavor that I couldn’t quite explain. I prefer the olive oil as well.

Finally tried this yesterday. I liked it. The flavor is almost exactly like their sardines. That smoke is distinct. I don't think I could have told them apart in a blind tasting.

My first tinned fish i tried besides tuna, I remember thinking not bad, but needing like rice or sauce to balance it out.

I can understand the need to balance it out. I always try my best with a cracker because it’s low-prep, but one of these days, I may have to try rice instead.
