Hello, @vindalsacademy. I saw your video on a Google search, while searching for possible questions on electricity. I am a Physics teacher and I am preparing my students for the WAEC Physics practical. You are doing a quality job. Keep it up! You have literally made my job easier, later today.
Well done ❤ but it's so sad to see more students watching entertaining videos than educative ones.I believe if it's comedy you'll have more likes and views than this
It was not specified by the exam body. But, I am suspecting that they may tell us to adjust the the rheostat to a certain value using ammeter. That is why they said and other necessary materials. That is my opinion
Sir should we cut off the remaining part of the wire that's not needed after tying? I asked because I wonder if it would affect the results of the experiment also I'm not sure if we'd have enough wire on the D day
Sir after tying the wire should we cut off the part that's not needed? I asked because I'm wondering if it would affect the results of the experiment. Also I'm not sure if we'd have enough wire on that day yet
Good one. Does the constantan wire on one metre bridge affect the determination of the balance point compared to another metre bridge. I purchased a new metre bridge for my school, its thickness of the constantan wire differs from the old metre bridge and their readings are so far apart.
@@vindalsacademy practicals like when determining the ratio of internal resistance of a dry cell to the resistance per meter of the wire provided and another is when determining the resistivity of the bare wire and how to read ameter and voltmeter plus plotting graphs, thanks

what could be the problem of galvanometer deflecting only in one direction, I bought another galvanometer but does not resolve the problem of the unidirectional motion
@ayobamioluseun5527. You have to try again. Check if all your apparatus are working well. Or just adjust your rheostat. Or check if the rheostat is connected wwll
Sunday your comment is unfair. I have reconsidered the experiment. The principle is well followed. Resistance is directly proportional to the length of the wire.
I love your camera clarity and the way you teach. Well done and more grace.

Rest
Thanks you sir for this

Thanks 👍 for your help today
Thanks
Well done sir, always on time

According to the theory of the experiment as the length of the cable decreases the balance point increases. Maybe you need to check your connection.
I will go to the laboratory to check again. Well thanks for the observation
Thanks for this Bro. Do you have an Idea about where I can get those blue and red connecting cables?
You may not get exactly this one. But, just ask of a small wires. Red and black
Thanks so much sir
It's good I'm understanding it
Thank you but please don’t forget to share the video
Well done, 👍it would really help
What is the Amp and ohm of the rheostat that should be used for the experiment sir?
It was not specified by the exam body. But, I am suspecting that they may tell us to adjust the the rheostat to a certain value using ammeter. That is why they said and other necessary materials. That is my opinion
Sir should we cut off the remaining part of the wire that's not needed after tying? I asked because I wonder if it would affect the results of the experiment also I'm not sure if we'd have enough wire on the D day
Yes just measure 100cm and work with it.
After measuring 80, 70 don’t cut it. It won’t affect the reading
Sir after tying the wire should we cut off the part that's not needed? I asked because I'm wondering if it would affect the results of the experiment. Also I'm not sure if we'd have enough wire on that day yet
Yes. Just measure only 100cm and use it for the rest of the experiment
Well done sir. Pls whr can i get those plug and play switch u used?
It's hard to get but just buy. Ordinary wire. Black and red
@@vindalsacademy ok thanks
Thanks very much sir
You are welcome my dear
Thank me more by sharing the video to others. To encourage me to do more
But it is said that as one slides the jockey over the potentiometer it reduces the cross-sectional area of the wire or what do u think
Very interesting
Thank you my dear just share the video
Tell me where you are watching from. And how your experiment works

Yes I will do one more experiment. Part two of the electricity.
But help me share the videos to encourage me to do more.

Yes because different wires have different resistance so different balance points
Thanks

Appreciate the video sir...can you do one on Archimedes principal
Sure now guy. I am working on it. Just that the apparatus will be today.
But subscribe and share the video to encourage me to do more.
Good job, but the values of LX are too high, I think they should not go beyond 47cm for any length of resistance wire
Yes there was a problem with that reading. Go to examguide. Where I did the correct version. So sorry about that
Or just check my last video. Part 2 of the electricity
Am watching from ekiti state nigeria
Thanks
Which year in waec past question can i see a similar question to this?

I am working on that one soon it will be made available
I love it but always let the camera be close thank you

What are the thickness of those wires?
Thank you so much sir but we're still expecting the other practicals
Yes my dear. I am still working on it.
It will soon drop
Pls sir I need part 2 of this Video on plotting graph
We are working on it
Why aren't you using the wire on top of the metre rule on the metre bridge
That wire is rusty. So the conductivity is poor
What material is the first wire made of.

Sir where’s the video on how to manipulate the values
Lol. I will do the video soon
Please sir where did you get the connecting wires and how much does it cost?
I can supply for you if you want. But again go to any electrical store ask of red and black wire
@@vindalsacademy how much does it cost? If you want to supply?
Well-done,but there's so much manipulation in the experiment.I guess physics practical is not as easy as it seems....once thank you for the insight!
Some are not easy to manipulate
Can potentiometer be instead of meter bridge
It's not part of the apparatus.
A potentiometer can't do the work of a metre bridge, you can check New school physics for more explanation

Wetin u dey type. I don't get
Is dis correct question
Lol, no sir. This is a guide
How can i get this type of connecting wires?
It must not be this kind I am using. Any laboratory wire can do a good job.
Just that I like connecting heads for easy connections
my galvanometer deflects only in one direction on all position of the metre bridge
what could be the problem of galvanometer deflecting only in one direction, I bought another galvanometer but does not resolve the problem of the unidirectional motion
Adjust the position of your rheostat
To see what happens next
The Gambia 🇬🇲
thanks tou chaiman. But the thing doesnt run smoothly at all with another wire of another materialeg copper
Because every wire has different resistance.
Is there no formula to solve this tin
There maybe a formula
Jockey was not included in d instructions
It’s hard to do this practical without jocjey
10:55
Pls ur camera clarity is blurred
I will look into thats
Video is good. But the rheostat has not been resolved, you only guessed a point on the rheostat to have a reading on the Galvanometer.
Remember Waec said other necessary materials. They may request that a certain amount of current is recorded.
So don't worry okay
Lagos
Thank you Femi. Please share the video
Your connection is wrong , according to the theory of the experiment, as the length of wire decreases , the balance point increases.
@Sunday thank you for that observation, I will go back to the lab to check and I will respond accordingly. Once again thanks
