@@kdstunts_641 I'm more of a truck diesel guy but you could take off the turbo silencer ring with larger downpipes that's what I would do.

Nik Dim Kerma Tdi. I highly recommend them as it’s where I got my pipe, tuner, injector upgrades, and turbo upgrade.

@@cormackeane9587 they don't have blow off valves.. only wastegates which do not produce this sound
I’ve got my 2003 VW Golf tdi straight piped and it doesn’t make the cool noises when you let off the throttle, maybe the VNT actuator is bad?

@@Vinh1089 I researched that it's the turbo sound when you have a straight pass exhaust installed. So no dpf filter probably modified or missing silencers to some extend

You'll need a gutted dpf (you can gut the cats while you're in there if you want) - or a downpipe from the turbo
Then a straight pipe all the way to the tip, usually 2.5 to 3 inches
make sure to post one for 2019 too

How much is the the turbo of the first car? Where can I get something like that for a VW golf mk6 TDI
Hard to say. Could be stock, but likely a $800 - $1500 turbo upgrade. The MK4 turbo's variable vane geometry makes that "cooooo" noise when you let off the accelerator, but I've not heard it from straight piped Mk6 TDIs. I'd recommend Kerma TDI if you're thinking of upgrading, which is who I used for my MK4 ALH.

I think that stock turbo with a straight pipe and a down pipe does that
Removed catalytic converter, removed DPF if it came with one. EGR delete is a good idea as well
Remap the ecu, to get more pressure from the turbo by the VNT and a cat and egr delete with a straight pipe. Mine does that! 💪😍

Big exhaust diameter, no resonators/mufflers... pretty much go to an exhaust shop and tell them you just want a 3” pipe from the turbo to the bumper
My mk4 golf 1.9 TDI ALH makes those turbo sounds completly stock so idk about you... Try to check the air tubes

actually only straightpiped diesels with no mods on them. audis sound good only bcause reproduction of sound, other is crap. i have a turbodiesel and it sounds good, but compared to petrol engines its still shit
