- A song made about the anti government revolt in the city of Dara'a.
The city of Dara'a played an important role by the start of the 2011 uprising against the government led by President Bashar al-Assad as part of the Arab Spring protests with thousands of people protesting in the city.
The uprising was sparked on the 6th of March 2011, when 15 youths were arrested for scrawling graffiti on their school wall denouncing the Assad regime.

Bashar isn't a muslim, he's an Alawite (Alawites believe in reincarnation, and believe Ali is the incarnation of God)
After the french colonisation left Syria, they worked hard to preserve their interests by putting the Alawite minority (that's loyal to them) in rule instead of the Muslim majority (that's against them), and today Russia (so that it can use Syrian ports into the meditaranian sea) and Iran (so that it can convert them population to shi'ism like they are currently doing in Damascus and Aleppo, and many other Syrian cities) have took up that role instead.
