  • O.J. Simpson stood trial in 1995 for the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman, in her home. At the time, a former LAPD officer spoke to Inside Edition and shared his thoughts on how the fallen NFL icon could have escaped the crime scene. Retired LAPD officer Jim King said the killer may have fled on a different route than the one authorities suspected. Simpson was later acquitted of the murders. #InsideEdition

It'd be cool to find the murder knife, BUT I don't see how it would have made any difference, UNLESS it'd been found before his trial.
We all know they were killed with a knife. So, any skeptics would just argue that the "real" killer had dumped his knife, and that was the knife that was found. Also, no way any blood would have been present on a knife sitting in a canyon the last 25 years.
Me, I think OJ just took the knife with him in a plastic bag to LAX, and then dumped it into a restroom trashcan before going through security.
That can was dumped by janitors later that night, went into dumpsters, was taken away by trash trucks to the city landfill, and THAT is where the knife has been all these years:under 10 million tons of LA trash.

@@markmac2206 BTW, any good detective will tell you that typically the very first thing a murderer will do is try as get as far away from the crime scene as possible. This distancing is a common indication of what is called "consciousness of guilt"; i.e., when you internally know you're guilty of a crime, you don't want to be anywhere near the crime scene. It's as if you're thinking that by putting yourself far away it'll make it easier to tell yourself(and others) you had nothing to do with it. Which is why OJ planned this murder to occur on an evening that he had to catch a late flight to Chicago. Ideally he hoped to practically in Chicago before the crime scene was even found. I'm sure OJ thought he was so smart and that he'd covered so many tracks and misdirected that nobody would ever suspect him.

This whole thing was insane and everyone was talking about OJ & Nicole and Ronald Goldman was the forgotten victim and his life was stolen from him. He is the one that should be talked about b/c he died seeing the killer and Ronald Goldman has his eyes open when he was being stabbed over and over again and Nicole Brown was OJ Simpson's ex wife and she was killed as well. She begged the police to help her and she called them 8 times and the system failed her. Not to mention Rodney King was still fresh in people's minds and the LA riots. Dumping it at the airport would have been a terrible idea - a place with dozens of people watching his every move and possibly cameras. Dumping it in Chicago would have been even worse - you’re going to take a knife and bloody clothes on a airplane? The idea that he gave it to Robert K in that garment bag doesn’t hold up, either. The police said they searched every bag oj came back from Chicago with, and that included that bag. Unfortunately, the police mishandled the evidence and made a lot of errors that the defense used in their favor. All the defense had to do was poke holes in the police’s investigation, which was easy to do.

Because it was premeditated and he changed accordingly. Btw its a mistake to think OJ would have been covered in blood anyway. If your standing behind a person when you sever the carotid artery the blood spurts forward and the victim falls to the ground and bleeds out. Im sure he still had blood on his person though just not in the copious amounts people seem to write about in these blogs.

If you think about what I've heard recently is if this was due to a drug dealer owed money for Nicole's coke habit and a hefty bill , since OJ was probably a source or plug on how to get the drugs and knew everybody . Let me throw this out there if your in deep with a drug dealer and refuse to pay for an ex's habit but want to stay in a good place with the dealer and his crew , you get rid of the problem and whos to say that part of getting the evidence to disappear and or show proof the deed was done it could be possible that trip to Chicago could have met up with a powerful drug king and give them the evidence and they make it disappear basically like blackmail or Loyalty to the drug pin ! It would be crazy if the cloths and knife mysteriously showed up out of nowhere soon now that OJ has passed ! Somebody alive knows what happened to that stuff !! It would make breaking news and one more great story to go along with everybody's dirt that's coming out in 2024 !

His lawyer Kardashian knew he did it, but I also think, with A LOT of money involved, I believe that Judge Ito was paid to say, "Not Guilty" no matter what the jury said. Either that or the Jury had some money involved as well for them to come up with the conclusion "Not Guilty". It's a sad world we live in.
