When a dad sees his daughter on the wedding day, it ALWAYS kills me. As a Girl Dad myself, it is is one of the hardest moments of the entire day for us. I have caught myself in that moment too many times, getting really emotional. When I was putting together this compilation video, I got choked up a couple of times. I just know how special these types of moments can be for families. So glad I am there to capture them!

Thank you for posting this. It was beautiful to see the love, joy, and especially the wonderful bond these dads had with their daughters. It was beautiful to watch. Although I never had that bond with my Dad, as he never really wanted to get to know me, I can still celebrate watching the women that *did* have this with their Dad. 💖💗💞

My dad always jokes that when the time comes for me to get married, he will walk me down the aisle and tell my husband, "She's all yours now."
Then, my mom tells me that when that day finally comes, he will burst into tears and have an incredibly hard time letting go of my arm when we reach the alter. 💛

@pk pk I don't think that was the point of the comment. Of course she's a grown woman, like I am, but I know that in my dad's eyes, I will always be his little girl. It's not an insult to me, it's a sign of how precious I am to him and how much I am loved.
pk pk Jesus Christ dude like chill. Weddings are important to not only just one parent, it’s important to both parents because it’s their child’s special day. It may be a tradition, but it’s a special tradition. The only reason why it’s special to a dad is because he’s the one handing his daughter off to another man who he’s entrusting to take care of his daughter. Who he’s entrusting to be there for his daughter when he or her mother/ his wife isn’t there anymore.
The father, the only man in her life that had been with her through thick and thin, having a close relationship with his special little princess and wanting only best for her, by sacrificing himself in hopes she will be happy.
So whatever past experiences you have gone through, don’t associate them with whatever other people have and attack others happiness. Don’t act like a victim when they lash back at you for being a huge sexist kiss-ass like you’re acting right now. In fact why are you even watching this if you’re gonna be a huge asshat and berate a special moment between a father and his special little girl. To give one-sided information about how men act and how they act around their mothers or wives.
It's scary how some people doesn't have chill. 😅🤦🏻♀️ And yes, even as a grown up, my dastill sees me as the same little girl as I was before. I can always cry my problems to him like how I do when I was still young. It's very sweet. 🧡

I was so wishing that this could happen to me in Oct-Nov 2016... Unfortunately, my dad passed away a month before my wedding 😭. Being the youngest, I owed to him a lot... I love you Dad... You and mom are together in heaven already...

Nina, the same thing happened to me, my dad passed away 3 months before my wedding but he attented the xmas wedding announcement dinner with my in laws and i am happy for that. 🙋♀️

I wish my dad had ever told me that he is proud of me or that I look or am beautiful. It is weird that we, as daughters, long for our dads approval that much, yeah. But I guess I just want to say: Dads. Love your daughters. And start telling them that they are beautiful before another man tells them that they are not and destroy their views in the mirror forever. Dads should be the first guys to tell their daughters that they are worthy, beautiful, gorgeous, lovable and capable. That affects a lifetime with men.

I never ever longed for his approval, I just flat out did not like him and the feeling was mutual! He’d have cut his tongue out before saying something nice to me...but that’s life I guess. I’m so sorry that you never got what you wanted from your father, but that was HIS greatest loss!

I did have this from my dad.. He didn't show those emotions but oh I could feel them. Everyone knew how stromg our bond was. Until it wasn't. But the day he gave up on us my boyfriend came into my life. Now I have everything I need with him and don't need more.
I’ve always dreamed about my wedding....my dress....the memories....my family.. but most of all my dad.. my dad lives down the street from me and doesn’t really want anything to do with me no matter how hard I’d try but watching these make me emotional not just for the people getting married but...wishing my dad would look at me like that...
I was just thinking, while my bio dad couldn’t care less if I died, there was one who loved me enough to save my life. Who knows if I’ll get asked to wed, but if I do, I’ll owe that “adopted father” even more thanks.

Lovely to see how much love there is between these Dads and their daughters. I am the eldest of 3 girls and our father didn't attend any of our weddings. He never showed us any affection but was quick to put us down if we 'disappointed' him. We all felt that he wished we weren't born and that he could have mum all to himself. Very sad when there are so many Dads that love their girls. 😥

Can I just say to everyone on these comments who has absent fathers or fathers watching them from heaven...he has fully surrounded you and has a full 360 view of your special day, maybe not physically but his presence is there. I met my father at 14years old, and we grew such a close bond that lasted until I was 21, when he passed away 4 years ago. I’ll be getting married one day and I know he would totally cry seeing me as a bride. I wish he could be there when I get married, these women are so so lucky. It’s a beautiful thing to have a closeness with a parent or care giver, biological or otherwise. Not guaranteed , but a blessing when it does happen. 🧡
On my wedding day my dad never showed emotion but the day that I packed up our moving truck to drive across country with my husband he was balling.
Every child deserves both parents. I didn't have a father in my life and watching these videos made me for the first time in my 33 years of living sad I didn't have one.

It’s funny how people believe the bride or groom will cry but low and behold it’s the fathers. From their first glimpse of their newborn baby girl to their first day their little girl says “bye daddy “ as they enter preschool... it’s the fathers in the school hallway saying their goodbyes and shedding a tear in the hallway. Nothing can compare to the father stepping aside and saying “goodbye “ to their once little girl to see them leave with their now #1 person in their daughters lives. God bless fathers!!!

I told my little sister "I'm watching dads react to their daughters on their wedding day". She responded," you're going to cry" now I'm sitting her bawling my eyes out. I was engaged. I was supposed to be betting married soon. I thought I was about to experience my happily ever after. Easter this year. I found out he was cheating on me most of our relationship. Trust me. I thought I knew him! He asked my dads hand in marriage . I just cried watching these because idk if I'll ever experience this because as of now he ruined the image of falling in love in my eyes.

I have never had a loving father, he was absent in my life. I am now married to a wonderful man who loves our daughter more than himself. I watch these videos and wonder how my husband would react on my daughter's wedding and her first look! I console the little disappointed child in me by watching him doting our daughter :) Any man can be a father. It takes a special loving man to be a Daddy! Love to all these Dads! :)

What is not to love to see these dads? My dad was estranged so he wasn’t at my wedding. Yet I was always his beautiful girl.
Had this on my recommendations and I couldn’t not watch it... my dad passed away unexpectedly exactly 2 weeks ago, and he always mentioned how one of his dreams was to walk me down the aisle. I will never get the chance to now, but if I ever get married I know he will be with me.

We are 3 sisters. Our dad passed away in 2017. None of us is married by now but a few years ago I modeled for a lokal bridal shop and my dad saw me in a bridal gown and he took a foto and I can remember how happy he was seeing me in it. I'm happy for every bride who has her dad at her wedding.

I have 2 daughters and 2 sons and I will cry no doubt when they all marry,my sons will always be my princes and my best friends and my daughters will always be my princesses and my best friends,I’m blessed to have such an amazing relationship with my children I love them all so much and yes I know my husband will shake his sons hands when they marry and he will cry with his daughters because his daughters have their father wrapped around their little fingers ❤️
