These SmartVac's are great vacuums probably Eureka's last good vacuum (and maybe the 1st gen Airspeed), they're super powerful (admittedly even more than a Hoover Windtunnel of the same era) even for a clean air machine
18:40 you have it on tools mode even on the airspeed models people get confused if they vacuum in hose and tools mode if the motor pitch is high or normal when in floors or hose and tools
This is definitely an aspect I've changed in more recent videos. But of course this video is a few years old, I used to ramble much more than I do now. Thank you for the feedback!

These are great machines
The hose is easily fixable. Just cut the bad part off and rip the bad part out of the end and screw/hot glue and tape bojack it back on

That’s correct newer eureka vacuums are TRASH

No. But you can wipe them down with a damp cloth or wipe
Those bristles are worn out. It must have been used on hard floors and low pile rugs a lot.
