Got a bottle today. THIS IS CHANEL EGOISTE PLATINUM - no question. Its the closest of any clone ever of any fragrance (in my opinion) - and believe me I've tried many many MANY clones. Nice one AC 👍

Ive tested this a LOT and let me say that spring/summer this is fantastic, it lasts forever but you need to watch the sprays, its easy to think its not as potent as it is i get, no joke a full day and night. AC you nailed it with this
Rasasi Egra's got that non-springed hinge too. My solution: take a good grip of the lid, twist, there may be a plasticy cracking sound which means it worked. Throw the lid away, done! :D

Finally got hold of this, an amazing clone of Platinum Egoiste. I used to love the original fragrance in the older bottle style since the nineties, last time I purchased this Chanel in the new bottle style I was so disappointed and sold straight away. This brings back the scent as before and as you say slightly modernises it. Overall I would purchase this time and time again over the Chanel which is a shadow of its former self. Performance as the original Chanel was.
Another Great review AC! Ordered and I agree this an absolute steal. 3 sprays and it lasted the whole day. Surprised on the quality of this considering the price. Only down side is the cap but that doesn’t bother me one bit, may even order a back up considering how cheap it is also! Out of all the frags I’ve had recently this is my favourite......awesome! @@ACSmellsGood Have you tried banana republic's oud mosaic. It's a great scent, especially at that price point. Another hidden gem. It's similar to Dior's oud Ispahan. If you come across the banana republic icon line it's worth some time.

Placed my order today AC! I do have the original Egoiste which I purchased in Roma in 2015. Love it! I’ve smelled the platinum version before which is sold in Canada but the original is not. It’s funny how certain fragrances are only sold in certain countries. Egoiste in Europe and Platinum in North America. AC keep those reviews coming!!!

Pulled the trigger on this and just got it today. AC, you are truly a magical fragrance reviewer. You got me hooked on Prada Amber Pour Homme Intense and now this. And both of these are "true love" category for me. Once again, you have my gratitude, AC. This is so good, I can't believe I didn't found out about Legesi sooner. This is exactly what I hoped it will be, a super fresh green soapy barbershop that are quite masculine I would say. As weird as it might sounds, it reminded of Shaving foam mixed with cellophane wrapper. Can't explain why but it just has that vibe. Nonetheless, superb fragrance for the price. What a bargain!

@@nicolasfarah2092 I did get this in the mail today. On initial smelling it is amazing. Fresh, Clean, and I sprayed it on a tester and everyone who came in my Office all agreed it smelled great. A bonus I wasn't expecting was a sample vial of Ocean Dream by Georio Beverly Hills, which also smelled amazing. I haven't gave it a full wearing as I'm doing my throwback week and I'm wearing each of my Jovan's this week, by release date. However back to this one I really do enjoy it and have to agree so far with this review. Great Find and I cannot wait to give it a full wearing.
Finally bought a bottle. I got the one made in France, 2021. Sprayed it 2x on the back of my hand then showered after an hour or so. Woke up after about 6 hours and I still got whiffs of it.😮

Currently legecy is not available anywhere in india..still u can go with Rixos its has a heavenly fragrance with great silage and is very potent...have been rocking it since past month 😎
Hello from India! Summer is almost coming to an end here and it's the beginning of the rainy season with average temperatures between 27 to 35 degrees with some hotter days in between. I want to know if I should go for armaf rixos or armaf legesi for office wear mostly.

You got my attention with this one! I own many Armaf fragrances and I remember when this one came out I beleive it has a female counter part (dont quote me on that) but at the time I just had to start getting away from Armaf at the time. Hi AC. I have been searching for this perfume for some time without success . Out of stock everywhere in India. Does this perfume resemble Futura La Homme from the same house? You had reviewed it some time back and I got it on your recommendation. The notes sound somewhat similar.
Anand good to see you after a long time. This is very different to Futura from memory but I will have to spray it side by side to do a proper test. I am personally just blown away by the dry down of this scent, smelt nothing like it before :)
just brought this and oooh god yes. I have no idea how the chanel one smells but this pretty good. The opening is very bad, give it 10 minutes and ooh good. very potent smell. Good longevigty, tried on clothes, got solid 6 hrs easily. It has metal, green and just somethinbg vvvv good, vvv mature, vvv potent. Perfect formal and office scent. I'm a lawyer and I wear this everyday to court and have already got like 2 compliments. In india, got this for Rs.1000(like 15$)
AC check out Armaf Niche Black Onyx. It’s a spicy, masculine scent that evokes feelings of an old school powerhouse without smelling dated. Not really my cup of tea but I certainly appreciate it for what it is and it seems like something you’d enjoy. For less than $30 it offers great value.
Well ya sold me on this one. Ive used a lot of my Platinum Egoiste and Prada Amber is my fav soapy scent. Will dial up a sample in a few; just purchased my most expensive frag, C Hererra Mystery Tobacco. Thanks for the usual great review.
Got my today, if Egoiste would do the intense version it would smell like this one, crazy value for money Thank you. Edit: I think there'a also some similarity to Creed GIT!
My experience with the perfume was fairly the opposite. I've noticed that the perfume is always received well by myself and the people around me for the first 15-20 minutes and unfortunately that is it. Its longevity could not really work well for my skin. I wish that the smell could be more long lasting.
On my shirt, it lasted till next day. I have left the juice macerate in the bottle for 6 months after spraying 20 times. Even at beginning it was strong on test sprays as well.

You know Paul, I just dont understand Armaf's obsession with weird and wacky bottle designs , they very comical sometimes, but their fragrances are quite nice :)
I've just bought this one and it smells fantastic (after the 1st 20 to 30mins). I wasn't sure at first but after the dry down it just smells great...

@@nicolasfarah2092 I did get this in the mail today. On initial smelling it is amazing. Fresh, Clean, and I sprayed it on a tester and everyone who came in my Office all agreed it smelled great. A bonus I wasn't expecting was a sample vial of Ocean Dream by Georio Beverly Hills, which also smelled amazing. I haven't gave it a full wearing as I'm doing my throwback week and I'm wearing each of my Jovan's this week, by release date. However back to this one I really do enjoy it and have to agree so far with this review. Great Find and I cannot wait to give it a full wearing.

Finally bought a bottle. I got the one made in France, 2021. Sprayed it 2x on the back of my hand then showered after an hour or so. Woke up after about 6 hours and I still got whiffs of it.😮

Hi Gaurav, I do not know if the current formulation is watered down as I haven't tested the recent bottles. It is through definitely relevant.

Hello from India! Summer is almost coming to an end here and it's the beginning of the rainy season with average temperatures between 27 to 35 degrees with some hotter days in between. I want to know if I should go for armaf rixos or armaf legesi for office wear mostly.

You got my attention with this one! I own many Armaf fragrances and I remember when this one came out I beleive it has a female counter part (dont quote me on that) but at the time I just had to start getting away from Armaf at the time. Yes- the feminine version is amazing. I get compliments every time I wear it- my family especially loves it. Fresh DG Blue vibe but better.

Hi AC. I have been searching for this perfume for some time without success . Out of stock everywhere in India. Does this perfume resemble Futura La Homme from the same house? You had reviewed it some time back and I got it on your recommendation. The notes sound somewhat similar.
Anand good to see you after a long time. This is very different to Futura from memory but I will have to spray it side by side to do a proper test. I am personally just blown away by the dry down of this scent, smelt nothing like it before :)

just brought this and oooh god yes. I have no idea how the chanel one smells but this pretty good. The opening is very bad, give it 10 minutes and ooh good. very potent smell. Good longevigty, tried on clothes, got solid 6 hrs easily. It has metal, green and just somethinbg vvvv good, vvv mature, vvv potent. Perfect formal and office scent.
I'm a lawyer and I wear this everyday to court and have already got like 2 compliments. In india, got this for Rs.1000(like 15$)

AC check out Armaf Niche Black Onyx. It’s a spicy, masculine scent that evokes feelings of an old school powerhouse without smelling dated. Not really my cup of tea but I certainly appreciate it for what it is and it seems like something you’d enjoy. For less than $30 it offers great value.

I normally go to ebay to get my Armafs and rasasis or Notino.co.uk.
My experience with the perfume was fairly the opposite. I've noticed that the perfume is always received well by myself and the people around me for the first 15-20 minutes and unfortunately that is it. Its longevity could not really work well for my skin. I wish that the smell could be more long lasting.
On my shirt, it lasted till next day. I have left the juice macerate in the bottle for 6 months after spraying 20 times. Even at beginning it was strong on test sprays as well.
I've gifted 3 bottles of this to two friends and one employee... I don't own it but such a great gift.... Good job AC👍
