I loved that in her bag of toys Pom brought a couple of Mario Kart shells with her just in case she ended up chasing her and needed to take her out with them. Didn't even need them in the end. Great match and looking forward to seeing the return bout in Teej.

I had to look at the name twice
Pom Harajuku is great of course, and like everyone I celebrated when she won the All-Asia Women's Championship, but the thing this video highlights very well is that this is ultimately Matcha's story. She's the one who has things to prove. Pom is a comedy character who works a style harder to pull off well than it seems, but there is a reason she has never been a champion in TJPW after six years of being three years old: that's just not her role. In the end, her win was done to show Matcha's drive and need to win using the stipulations *she* asked for backfiring, and forcing Matcha to have to refocus. I expect her to get the belt back at the Year-End show, but until then we get to celebrate the new champion, P-O f',n M.
