*Literally eats millions of generation's worth of eggs.*
Game - "Ah yes, a socialite!"
Well they had to get to the eggs somehow, might as well smooth talk their way to them.

You can be a vegetarian and still eat eggs. Same principle, I guess?

thank you for keeping spore relevant in the oddest and probably hardest ways possible
Now, if only EA would do it.
"What did you do today?"
"Not much, ate some food, got smarter, took over the world, became a ghost, and met God"
This is the story of the legendary race that.. Didn't really do much
They seemed to do quite a bit, it's just that the important bits can be summarized quickly or aren't worth mentioning for whatever reason.
@@theshadowyparasite9448This sounds like something Douglas Adams would have said

@@ladyalicent705Despite not ever actually reading Hitchhikers Guide I still recognized the authors name. I think the cover of the book is burned into my memory from sitting on my brother’s shelf for years
If he was able to add multiple new parts, he should've made himself a platypus, since they don't do much.
3:22 I noticed that creatures almost never evolve as long as you've changed relationship with them (for example they had a yellow face and you befriended 2 creatures and they have a blue face now)
That would make sense that once we interact with a creature they are locked in, good point! I'll test that out some more as well.
Yeah. Very depressing to see those tiny pathetic worms that I have allied. I usually extinct pittyful creatures and only start friendship with bigger creatures.
@@karpai5427 I allied the char nom once and now I never kill them.
@@karpai5427 Bro wasnt accepted to art school
The school was very lame. Took a lot of money and did not teach anything. Was a complete waste of time and money.@@cocojumbo539
So this is just a guess, but I think the reason why those creatures never cocooned is that you interacted with them. I've personally never seen a creature cocoon and evolve after impressing/killing one member of the nest and I think it's to prevent the creature from evolving and making the objective impossible to finish
That makes sense the creatures would be locked in after interacting with them. I'll try researching this a bit more and letting them hatch their eggs and even try leaving and reloading the area as well to see if maybe they'll evolve.
I feel like I said this before, but I still would love to someday see a “all badges” run of space stage. I swear I heard of a glitch where you could ally the grox, then wipe them out to get both badges related to them in particular.
Spore 100%, YES please
with the caveat that the jester badge must be the last badge
would you even need a glitch to get both grox badges though? there's nothing stopping you from destroying an empire you've previously allied, so i assume you could get both badges without glitches. you'd need to cheat anyway to get the jester badge, so maybe this wouldn't take hundreds of hours if you used cheats to kill the grox quickly.
@@alnoso but once you get the joker badge you can't get other badges, so you have to do it in a way the game recognizes as legit
@@alnoso I can't see a Grox kill being quick even with cheats. At best he has something like fanatical frenzy or gravitation wave and keeps refreshing the cooldown. But he's still going to have to visit each of the ~5k planets manually and most likely that will be too tedious to do in one sitting.
The real killer though is the badges for discovering galactic formations or storybook planets. There isn't a way to cheat that really so even if he wastes hours killing the grox he needs to check individual planets in the downtime to fill up those badges.
holy crap, i didn't expect you to optimize it this much...
cell and creature stage are already the most optimized they can be, and tribal, civilization, and space stage all seem very well optimized
Would be funny is after evolving for only 2 billion of years you'd find yourself alone in the whole galaxy and prevented the grox from ever existing 😂
Woah, I learned something new today. I had no idea that you could eat eggs for DNA
This seems like something you should discover pretty early, no idea how I missed it for so many hundreds of hours
i absolutely love your spore challenge videos
keep making them forever please
I really appreciate showing off the "from scratch/no help from other saves" timeline. I think that'd be a cool video too with all the setup, but this is perfectly to the point and just nice.
I just love this channel. It feels cozy. Makes me wanna play Spore again.
I found a CD of spore at my grandparents attic, and I must say your channel had been a blast to learn about all the stuff in this game. It shocks me that this was made all the way back in the 2008. The editors of character and vehicles are something a lot of modern games should learn from.
I remember having won civ stage after losing all my cities by one.
Basically, I had an ally and was at war with another nation who ended up defeating me repeatedly. My ally, however, had the resources and time to beat the sht out of our enemy.
At the end, the enemy surrendered (if I remember correctly) and my ally offered me the merge. I believe this can be replicated for the civ stage timeline to be shorter.
this game is insanely nostalgic to me. thank u for keeping it alive 💖
i spent an unhealthy amount of hours playing spore and interacting on the old spore forums, always loved how the community is still around in a weird way
It feels like it should be impossible to get such a short timeline, I'm surprised it was possible.
The quest to become the most successful, yet inconsequential species
just wanted to say i really appreciate the captions on the video :) also this challenge was super fun to watch
I always love seeing your spore vids~
it means a lot to me that you add subtitles. thank you
I like this: a low% speedrun of Spore.
"beat the game with obtaining as few things as possible"
I love weirdly specific challenge runs like this, great job with it!
I haven’t played spore in forever, and yet here I am, watching someone play it, and I’m learning things I never knew.
I really hope these videos get viral, they are so good.
Every time I talk about Spore, you pop up. Get out of my head! But love you for still playing!
"We discovered fossils for this strange creature. We have no idea how it evolved."
It's a shame you don't upload more. I'm always happy to see new content from you.
I just found this channel and I love it, I'm really happy there are still people playing spore it's my childhood.
also it reminds me of the backlogs!
immense joy
This is such a unique take on Spore
I'm a simple man, i see spore video i click video
Amazing video as usual
ass old game and people still find ways to make it fun i love it
That's some serious dedication.
the best spore content
You are such a huge Spore nerd (affectionnate) I love your videos. This one is especially based
Your video just made my day
this man has played spore for 7 years and still makes new content
Thank you for making this video
Fantastic video!
thank you for keeping creating spore content, even tho its not popular
U are a certified goat. Binging these
This game's code is swiss cheese and I love it because it gives us content like this.
I’ve played spore for years, but i have NEVER seen SNEAK. Or that ”sniff scent” animation from the pursuers-
What else have i missed lol. I like the video so far
>Enters primordial soup
>Eats 121 plants
>Leaves
>Refuses to elaborate
"I don't use cheats today"
At eeg bug: -I used engine cheat.
After so many years of playing Spore and i never knew you could merge with your allies in civilization stage
Nice to see sporeman make another video
Great job, this is how the missing link was made.
This is insane. I remembered this game from ages ago and didn't even know it was real
imagine being a historian or something and trying to figure out what the hell happened with these creatures
Another banger

I love your videos !!!!!!!!!
I like to imagine uneventfulness is that species's ultimate virtue and they destroy all records of there own history
They see the youtuber as the god of privacy and normalcy.
super fun video
Congratulations, you discovered Low%!
The irony of Spore is it's not an Evolution Sim it's an Intelligent Design Sim
Thank you for the videooo😍 also did you know that according to the user who stiill makes Birds for Spore, that, Since this December 2023, SPORE is now 15 years old!!! Happy Birthday, SPORE🥳
Rapid evolution, baby!
now we need the longest
i've been waiting for it
Insane! Merci!
i wonder how much help you can get from other saves, you mentioned clearing a path thru the grox and removing all the possible tribal spawns, is anything else possible? how much of a headstart can you give yourself?
There's a couple more applications for using terrain tools on a home planet, including only allowing 4 total cities to spawn in Civilization Stage by covering the planet with land like in this video ruclips.net/video/YgywGM0uELg/видео.html
For a head start we can place spice collected from one saved game and place it on planet in the star system of another game to gather spice for free in this video ruclips.net/video/MmF6uREgXd4/видео.html
It's theoretically possible to make a planet where both 1 rival tribe spawns and also only 4 cities spawn but we haven't been able to optimize it fully, but this video shows a video getting 1 tribe but 8 city spawns :) ruclips.net/video/TrRUQ2deFl8/видео.html
Good video
Spore achievements feel so special to me, I'm not sure why. Maybe because of the artwork on them and something about the way they appear on the screen?
You have done an ally the Grox speedrun in the past, but I really really would like to see an annihilate the Grox speedrun, with the timer pausing between sessions
Just checked out your channel and wow, you ONLY play Spore don't you? Subscribed.
So damn cool.
your voice sounds nice
What if we consider the end of the game to be maximum captain rank instead of the center of the galaxy?
In both the normal speedrun context and this
fastest badges to grind for captain XP
fewest civilisations met for badges?
does it deepend on Galactic Adventures DLC?
Thanks for another fun video. How about Kill All Epics?!
Damnn those savings tricks
Very cool
Neat!
Nice
amazing vid as always! i know logistically this would be stupid and long but i'd love to see a destroying the grox speedrun. could you use terraforming tools to destroy their planets? can they survive on t1+?
Thank you!
Yep, increasing the terra score to 1+ will destroy the Grox colonies. We can also use Volcanos directly on their cities to destroy them too for cheap bombs lol :)
I got one of the videos recommended recently and it was lovely! Got me back into playing Spore. I'm just wondering how you get such good FPS on it? I recently got a new laptop, but it has weird FPS drops sometimes, mostly just the save selection menu.
Thank you!
Spore is locked to 30fps (mouse is recorded in 60 in the videos) but it is possible to raise the game's frame rate. I use a pretty decent graphics card on my tower to play and record with so maybe that helps. Maybe try lowering the in-game settings? I usually play on medium/low anyway lol, some of the visuals I find too distracting to show what's happening clearly.
@@KinglyValence Thanks for the reply! I looked around the internet a bit afterwards, but having a confirmation is really nice. I wasn't able to really find anything besides the fact that the game is in-fact just not made for better laptops lol. At least it's still very fun to play :)
This is pretty cool. I loved Spore as a kid, and just wish it were more stable to play. Every time I've tried recently it crashes a LOT
now do the longest it for sure will be a good video
can you please post video with full gameplay of this walthground?
This is very funny
I once spent 5 billion years in cell stage and an additional 4 in creature stage 😎
Instanc classic
Hey Kingly, I've been wondering something and considering your insight into the game I thought you might know. It's a bit specific, but is Green Keeper needed to prevent eco-disasters altogether in Space Stage if you're already using Bio-Stabiliser and Bio-Protector?
I'm not sure exactly how it works, I think the Green Keeper and Colony tools will stack their effects and make it very unlikely that bio-disasters occur, but not entirely sure, sorry.
Algorithm engagement comment
Challenge: beat an epic on creature stage
Make sure to have charge at high level, spit at any level, and as much speed as possible
spit at the epic at max range and drag it back to base
charge the epic to stun it, back off and repeat while your allies kill it hopefully
This is so stupid... i love it.
Tell me how your day have been to boost engagement
My day has been great! Thanks for asking :D
pretty bad 😔
@@saintmotel7813 sorry man tell me more
How about the longest timeline?
Hi daddy, would you consider doing videos from some DLC content? Like all galactic adventures speedrun etc.
im not sure if you should call him daddy but i do agree that dlc content would be nice
@@rebel6301 who are you to say who should i call daddy
@@yhwac ight fair enough
I was about 75% done with the video before I realized this is just low%
just wow
You can change different playable planets in the space stage?
Bro really did nothing but eat an egg for one billion years.
Now I'm curious, what's the shortest time you can get from a number of years perspective?
Likely the Cell Stage speedrun of 3min5sec would have the least amount of years, since the other Stages don't contribute towards the years as much as Cell Stage, getting out of Cell with the least years I think would give the least total by Space :)
least deaths least evolutions least events dang thats hard
Based and Grox pilled
Okay now the longest timeline >:) It there a point where the game can't possibly take it anymore? Or what is the most possible steps for you to beat the game?
Is it necessary to evolve at the end of Cell stage and Creature stage ? Is there always a timeline event for entering these stages, even if no change is done to the creature ?
I believe these "Enter Stage" cards are required for the timeline. I think Spore still counts the creature as being saved even without changing it when leaving editors. There is technically a glitch that bypasses the editor at the very end of Cell Stage and won't show Generation 2 starting Creature Stage. However, this soft locks Creature Stage and doesn't spawn any other creatures on the land. I didn't show it since it didn't work but I find it interesting :)
