JUST IN TIME FOR SANTA **LIMITED EDITION AA MERCH** www.makeship.com/products/ambiguous-amphibian-plush 🎅🎅 This is a one-time limited run thru January 6th (oddly appropriate date happened by coincidence lol). After that, they'll never be available again! Also big thanks and shoutout to my RUclipsr friend martincitopants whom I checked with since I'd never worked with Makeship before, and if you'll recall, he did an amazing campaign with them earlier this year. The plushes themselves are nice and feel high quality with the sample they sent me, so rest assured. Either way, you never have to buy anything to show you enjoy my videos, but if you ever wanted something that reminds you, I thought this would be a nice way to do a little collaboration for the holidays. Thanks -AA :)
Hope I can get me one on payday, if you sell out I'll scream upon the rooftops, cursing your name for all eternity, damnation with you! End to your lineage before you may bare fruit!
Pro tip (that has probably been said a million times now), you can back up any save of any game by finding the save file and copying it to a folder. Of course, the effort of that makes it not worth doing constantly when it might only be useful once every few months. But hey, the more you know...
"You can keep him fresh in your fridge!" The implication that leaving the plushie outside of the fridge risks the plushie becoming not fresh, or decomposing, is only mildly horrifying
You might have missed a crucial mechanic if you follow the dotted line on the map (in creature stage) or just go very far out you can find random nests of your kind you can claim these as your main nest and in this way secure yourself a seaside village in the tribal stage. You might even be able to claim your original nest back idk tho never tried that myself.
Bonus points if you find the planet in Space stage with another creature (New game planets are always on yellow stars, and the main menu gives you a good hint of roughly where it is) , edit it with terra tools so that it's one big mega continent, THEN start your file. You can take your pick of pretty much anywhere on the planet too, using what you said. Can place any of the terraforming stuff onto it, change it's colour, ect. Only thing you can't do IIRC is Degrade it's terra level, that makes it lose it's "new game planet" status. I used to do that a lot back in the day, to get more interesting starts and planets. If you want to find it even easier, you could just start that planet in space stage, note down nearby star names, then close without saving. look for those names with the other file, ect.
@@Verdiumm I never thought about that, like I knew I could find my other space stage worlds but it totally makes sense you could also do it to a new game.
Your determination to complete this challenge despite the game doing everything it can to stop you is incredible, congrats! 5:30 Saved game data is stored in the "Spore" folder in the Roaming files in Windows, accessed by searching "%appdata%" in Windows search. Getting a backup of the Spore folder here after each save will allow you to restore any previous save point that was backed up. Should hopefully make future Spore videos easier to produce because it's awesome seeing people enjoying Spore so much!
You sir are a golden god. Also thank you for that amazing piece of information. This will make life far less painful in the future lol. I salute you 🤠🤠

I understand you deliberately made your vehicles in the pitiful image of your people, but my strategy for Hard Civ stage was to build max speed vehicles at first to claim every possible geyser. Then use the funds to buy good relations with every nation. Eventually one nation will conquer everyone. I didn’t interfere, just made sure they were on my side. Then I waited. I let my coffers swell as my one independent city coexisted with the planetwide empire. Once I had maxed out my cash, I declared war on them after building as many vehicles as possible. Their military might fell upon me with strict programming to destroy my turrets first. Every time a turret fell, I purchased a replacement before the fragments hit the pavement. I’ll admit this was years ago and I don’t quite remember how I ultimately won. I think their entire military was besieging my city which allowed me to maneuver my vehicles unimpeded. Either that or they eventually ran out of resources and couldn’t do much once their cloud of aircraft was destroyed. I had fun.
"I spent four hours guarding lettuce, then being ambushed and manhandled by bigger, stronger species" It's nice to know Gerald Williams got to reincarnate
Narotiza's videos about pitiful worms in Spore were what made me want to get the game. The fact that everything was constantly breaking horribly made it even better
The space stage is my fav stage in spore, but that might be because I had the dlc that let you go on quests with your little guy and also make your own quests! I absolutely loved making my own quests
I personally didnt like it as much since the game goes from individual control to bigger and bigger scale empire control. Personally I would have liked a stellaris type space stage but simplified so also kids can enjoy it since it was made for wide audience
I imagine an actual species like this would definitely be communal and be ambush predators as well as scavengers, maybe evolving intelligence to better prepare a home out of which they can attack? Like building actual traps and such rather than waiting for prey then dog piling them
FINALLY! Someone who LIKES the tribal stage! It's my absolute favorite. It's satisfyingly systematic, selecting your creatures is so intuitive, the whole thing is just great. And it takes me like half an hour. The only stage that's shorter for me is the cell stage. Creature stage, on the other hand, is kind of a grind to me.
After watching the first video 15+ times, the joy that this sequel has given me is unmeasurable, I thought that I had after hearing the word 'worm' for the 10th time, was would it be possible to make some of C.M. Kosemans 'All Tomorrows' creatures in spore? Maybe not the gravitols or the colonials, but the mantalopes or insectophigis would be easier given the parts spore gives you.
While it isn't exactly the same, you can basically be the Qu from All Tomorrows in spore. With a combination of various weapons, the high likelihood of finding space stage species as creature stage species on other worlds, and use of the creature tweaker, you can eradicate a civilization, wipe out all life on the planet and then replace it with twisted versions of the original species. Heck, if you want you can even raise your favorite of the bunch into a new civilization, and then they'll basically view you as their gods! this truly is the best evolution simulator, lots of failures and trial and error, just getting lucky every so often and barely managing to survive. working together to lure larger creatures to your nest to then attack them is awesome that's definitely something that happens in the wild
The thing that always freaks me out about Ambiguous Spore play throughs is when he gets to the creature stage and resorts to stealing eggs because I always imagine a real creature that evolved in a way that best suited it to lying in wait to steal creatures young. Like imagine we lived in a world where a real threat that people had to look out for were giant worms that lied in wait at playgrounds to jump out and drag away children

I love your personality and the way you speak, it makes these videos so much more interesting to watch!
This man's subscribers are so dedicated. I love it.
I was just watching another spore video of yours, nice timing!
That merch promo was so funny in exactly the way your humour is, which is a redundant statement, but I don't know how else to say it.
“it was a slaughter… this is to say… *we were slaughtered…” 🤣🤣🤣
you absolute madlad what a challenge
Hey this is pretty good
What? This video was released 2 mins ago
thank you so much for keeping spore alive this game had my imagination in its grib for months back when i was 14
I like the comparison between your calm advertisment for your plushie, and Martincitopants' chaotic and insane one...
This worm is like a sith lord, it manipulates and tricks far stronger threats until it can gain enough resources to backstab them later.
"Sending them presents and gift baskets with desperate urgency" with the imagery of the little worms crawling oh god ahaHaha that got me
Man of resilience.
I love spore and your commentary is hysterical oml
One of the two best frog content creators on the platform.
Literally I was just playing spore! And all the sudden there is more spore content!
10 hours to make 10 minutes.. I love this game and I appreciate the ish out of you. This sounds traumatizing.. Im gonna try it now.
That was somehow the most frantic ad read I've ever seen on RUclips and it was deeply effective... my mom WOULD love some ambiguousamphibian merch......
Aaahh time to enjoy a new video from one of my two favorite frogtubers
Spore is such a fantastic game lol.
I love how you love the Sims so much that you use its background music for other games 🤣
the Sims 1 music hit me in the nostalgia like a dump truck, thank you
I already bought one to sit near Spleenz and Stanley Humphrey.
This game should get a second part, it's just incredible.
I was just binging the old spore videos before I noticed this in my feed. Loved it!
Man, space stage has always been my favorite. I think it's the only one worth putting a lot of time into lol wild that you hate it but love tribal
Its half sarcasm. I think Tribal stage is the most Real Time Strategy like.
it is frustrating that this vid didn't appear in my feed when it came out, such a good one
Ahhh Spore. That video game that teaches exactly how evolution does NOT work.
All hail the green reptile, for he blessed us again with a video one will take upon his soul with joy and gratitude.
Love how you use my favorite sims music. Bustin out for GBA (God that haunted mansion track slaps), Urbz, and sims 1
The pain of Spore's saves... I applaud your endurance.
The amount of time and effort that went into this video is insane, hats off to you bro.
I mean, the Trinity test bomb was nicknamed "the Gadget," so it's a slightly more clever way of getting around the ESRB's dumb asses than some may think.
meanwhile ICBM
"Would you still love me if I was a worm?"
AA: "Carnivore or herbivore?"
I have never been tempted to boy a stuff thing before but that dead pan looked frog is so cute
Only recently have I discovered this channel and it feels like I saw the entire channel in just about three days. You've got a new sub.
poor pitiful worm! :( just made me think of snails and slugs. So innocent and surviving by luck :D
Even a legless, armless, blind and deaf worm was able to build an empire, comprehend sophisticated technologies and conquer space, while you are barely studying in college. It's worth thinking about...
Nothing can truely fill the void that the origional pitiful worm left
love how i find this while i'm making myself suffer as a carnivore in creature stage that tries not to kill unless they're already on reds in my current save.
also glad ito find some one who loves the tribal stage while hating the space stage like i do lmfaoooo
Love the Spore videos!
Man, I really f*cking love this account, Ambiguousamphibian and MrBeast are the only 10 minute + videos I actually finish without noticing that I've been watching for more than 10 minutes. Met this account through that video about Torsolo and been here ever since.
