Good morning Doris, it was lovely to see you and your makes when I woke up. I watched in bed with a cup of Twinnings strong breakfast tea and I put a square in my mitre blanket. Your scarf is exquisite! It looks sooo soft and warm, and the colour really suits you. The Cala Lily shawl was in the one and only Laine magazine I bought, but I’m yet to make it. I’m in England, the lovely Gayna sent me 😊 xx

Hi Mandy!! Thank you so much for your sweet message! Made my day!! Your start of the day sounds absolutely lovely! and the fact that I was the podcast you watched is so sweet! Is the mitre blanket you're working the Cozy Memories blanket? I started one (showed it in episode 1) and still have a long way to go. I found the Cala Lilly shawl in Ravelry and was able to purchase it there as I didn't have the Magazine. Let me know if you start the shawl. I'm super happy that you stopped by and hopefully you'll stick around. Gayna is such as sweetheart and I'm so grateful for her endorsement. I haven't done much promoting of the channel so getting sweet folks like you stopping by is a happy feeling! Hope you enjoy your rest of the week! xo 😊

@@TheKnittyninaDiaries it’s a variation on the cosy memory blanket and I’ve been at it for 18 mths. My mitres sometimes go awry mind, I’m not good with angles! My mornings, in fact days are lazy due to covid, I’m shielding. I am grateful to you and all podcasters for taking the time and inviting us into your homes and lives. Thank you xx

You are such a sweetheart !😊 Thank you for choosing to watch me in a sea of so many podcasters. Glad to hear you are shielding and staying safe. My memory blanket has been on the needles just about the same time as your's...it's crazy how long each little square can take and I agree with those miters..can drive one crazy...the key is to pick-up the right amount of stitches consistently across when starting the square on the side of another one...hope that makes sense. Maybe one day, I can organize a zoom call for all of us to hang out and knit!! Have a good cozy evening and a lovely day tomorrow. xo Doris

    Hi Doris🧶
Your blue scarf is so beautiful🐑
The calla Lilly shawl is wonderful!
The yarns are lovely! They look so very soft🤗
The 4 yarn skeins that you showed are so beautiful
they need to be in a shawl🌸.
There is a pattern for a wrap called The Killarney Wrap, it is stunning.
The wrap has lots of cables and it is a long wrap, you may want to knit
    that wonderful pattern sometime!
Miss Strawberry Makes podcast knitted one and it is gorgeous👍
The finished wrap is on one of her podcasts.
    I wondered where you were?
Your podcasts finally came back up on my utube rotation.
So glad your still podcasting, missed you.
Now I can catch up on the next couple of months! I need to hit the bell
so I’m notified of your vids! I’m late to this podcast.
Hope you are well! As you probably already know Rhinebeck is on in person for
2021! Kentucky had a live Wool and Fiber festival earlier this month!
I live in western Tenn., it would have been a 6 hour drive for me. I had
covid in Nov and Dec 2020. I am still weak and not 100% yet so there was no way I could go😑
It was so aggravating! I am an oldy but goody so I don’t bounce back like I used too.
God be with you dear 🌸. Till next time🦙🎀

Hello dear Jeanne!!! Thank you so much for your lovely words!! So happy too that you are still watching the channel and enjoying it!! You made my day!! Thanks for the Killarney Wrap suggestion...I'm going to go check it out in Ravelry and in Miss Strawberry Makes podcast. Wasn't aware of the Rhinebeck announcement....so exciting!!! Sorry to hear that you won't be able to attend as I was hoping to finally get to meet you in person! Most important is for you to recover and get all your strength back. Thank God that you survived Covid and that you are working on getting your strength back. Be patient with yourself...you went through a lot...God willing, we'll have Rhinebeck again in 2022. I got my second shot this past week and I still haven't bounced back from side effects. How's your weather in Tenn? We just started getting waves of humidity here in PA...ugh...don't like it. Well dear Jeanne, running off to make dinner and before I sign off...want to wish you a nice Memorial Day weekend! xoxo Till next time!!! PS...love all your emojis!! :)😊💕🥰

      Hi Doris.
So nice to hear from you!
I am glad you are well. I still had to get the covid vaccine.
I had my first vac and it knocked me off my feet for 2 weeks
with nausea and weakness, no smell or taste either. I’m feeling better now.
What were your side effects if I may ask? I am a retired RN. Next week I get my 2nd
dose of the covid vaccine. Hope I don’t get any side effects with the second vac.
When I had covid I couldn’t taste or smell for 90 days, had flu like symptoms, and
was nauseas most of the time.
I lost 30 lbs. I would like to lose 10 or so more😃.
But that was a difficult way to lose the weight.
Are you going to knit a Rhinebeck sweater? I’ve never been to a wool and fiber Festival.
I’ve been blessed to be able to attend 15 Paducah Kentucky Quilt Fests, they were all
so wonderful. I love my sewing machine👍❤️
The quilt fests where like a piece of Heaven on earth for sewers and quilters🤗
I’d think that a fiber festival would be similar in fun and content only knitting!🧶
      My email is: flowersquilts@yahoo.com
Drop me a line sometime if you have time. I’ll keep in touch😎🌞. It’s
been in the 70s and 80s here in western Tenn. Air conditioning is on!
The flowers in your podcasts are so beautiful!
I enjoy the videos of the goats, sheep, and donkeys too🐏🐑🦙.
Sunflower Creamery in Maine has some wonderful podcasts of baby Pygmy goats,
they all are as cute as buttons😂. Their vids help me get to sleep at night!
The black nosed valaise Swiss sheep are so cute too! The valaise Swiss
sheep are in lots of videos from Switzerland and they are so fun to watch too!
Enjoy this beautiful weather, spring is my favorite season! Happy knitting🐑
      Till next time dear friend🌸😎🐶

Hi dear Jeanne! Glad to hear you're scheduled for the second vaccine shot! I didn't get sick with the first shot however with the second, I was out for 2 days with body aches but they subsided within the 3rd day. Love that you're a quilter! I've done 2 quilts in my life and recently have been dabbling back into it...so much fun! I'll be showing my recent finished quilt in my next episode. Love the recommendation of the Sunflower Creamery...I just peeked and there's one where the baby goats have their jammies on....so cute!!! Will watch in full tonight. Will be making a sweater for Rhinebeck but not sure yet which one... Thanks for your e-mail ...I'll send you a note there so you can have my email address as well! Stay cool inside and good luck with the second shot. Have a great Memorial Day weekend dear friend!!💕😊🥰

This was lovely, as usual! Your scarf is stunning! Did it take months to knit? I felt similarly about a satellite shawl I knit last year with LBA kumo yarn. It felt so luxurious - such a treat to wear. I adore your pastel yarns - I am really into that palette at the moment too. I can't wait to see what you knit with them! I really enjoy your podcasts - thank you for sharing! Ros X

Thank you so much Ros! The scarf took me a little less than a month only because I didn't have to use a cable needle. If you knit with a cable needle and would like to learn how to do so without one, let me know and I can look up some good instructional videos for you. I just checked out the satellite shawl and yours with the LBA kumo yarn must be stunning. Are you in Ravelry? would love to see it! Regarding the pastels...I hear ya...they make me so happy...must be the little girl in me...hahaha! It is so nice to hear that you are enjoying the podcast!! Thank you so much!! I need to start promoting the channel but I feel weird promoting myself ...so it's growing organically and your lovely comment re-assures me to continue this journey. happy knitting! Doris xo
