I met him in 1973 at his concert in Miami when I was a 15 year old kid. Back then, they didn’t need security like they do now. He talked exactly how he sang. He was very kind. And her name was not Claudine, it was GLODEAN. Met her at the concert, too. Very sweet lady!
I met him too in the 1990s when he was in my town for a show and I waited outside his hotel. Like you say a very kind and friendly man who had time for his fans

Estate laws do protect biological children (minors and adults) in receiving an inheritance versus all assets going to a spouse who isn't the biological parent. I had an attorney educate me on this matter due to my father's wife having this same mindset as you, which is....... As a biological daughter, the law allowed me to contest his will and receive an inheritance from his estate.
