It really depends on the program that your in. I know that Blue Devils, Cadets, Onyx, Pride all refer to triple time as something completely different. But no one "technique" is better then another they are all different.
This is so helpful. I'm a freshman and this is my first time ever doing color guard. I'm also the only freshman on rifle so it's challenging being with juniors. Can you post a video on a good warm up routine I can do that'll help me get better?
At the "neck neck bolt bolt neck" part all I heard was the rifle squeaking and I mean if that doesn't some up all equipment I've ever used then what does 😂
when you find out that you'll be on weapon line, this fall season, and you just learn how to do this. but everyone know how to do this............ This really help!!!!!!!! thanks
This is extremely helpful.! Im replacing my old rifle, and I was wondering what yours is? I'm looking at the 36 in Elite Rifle used by WGI but I'm not sure about it.
+Gabrelle Rylee Hey there! How are you doing? I am going to be making new videos starting today for vlogmas! Please let me know if there is anything you would like to see and/or need help on! Thanks!
I did find it helpful but I can't seem to get the "small flip" if you could make a vid walking through just the interrupt and walking it though in steps slowly. Thanks!!
For double time with both hands, is there a way to do it on the other side? When I was in band camp my director had us do it both ways. I haven't learned how to do it the other way that you didn't show. So she just had me stay on the side that you showed in the video. Can you make a video of both sides of the two hand double time? It would be so much help! Thanks!
Can you make a video of a good warm up routine others than you have and also a video on the highest toss you can do... I can do a 5 and a half but I don't know if I'm doing it right as a 7th grader
I miss performimg colorgaurd in high school!!! New channel supporter and I enjoyed watching this video... High five!!! I look forward to browsing your channel in the near future! I hope you subscribe back! Have a wonderful day HUGS !!!!
Sure! I'll go ahead and post a spin warmup, a toss warm up, and a combination warmup. If there is anything in particular that you would like to see in the warmup routines just let me know!
so our high school doesnt use. and i quote my instructure. (pee wee rifles). we use M1 grands and Spring field rifles. for practice we put on 1 pound trick braces on each arm. and go through a drill with a 10 pound rifle then to the actual drill. we this year have learnt how to double spin or 2 rifle spin. (basicaly your spinning 2 rifles at once) it looks sick
Ok we have wrist weights. 1 pound each making our rifles fell like 12 pounds inteade of 11. Practicing with these weights tricks your mind to think the rifle is heavier. So when we preform. We take the wrist wieghts off to make the rifle feel lighter. Magic. Its really weird phycology stuff
Hey just a disclaimer, these tutorials are not for "colorguard" in the sense of JROTC. These tutorials are for the less militaristic more artistic version of colorguard that is done in marching band. Thank you for your interest in my channel!
Luis rojas hes most likely in jrotc like myself the rifles in my unit are 10 pounds and then we have a group of 12 there heavy like that because there cemented
wow this helped me so much! I’d looked at other tutorials but i was still so confused, you explained it really well!
Glad it helped!
Im a freshman on my team and I have my coaches helping get my quad, five, etc but this really helped me to build my strength 😊 thank you!
OMG one hand looks so challenging, but on the other hand it looks cool to learn.

Thank you! This was a good tutorial and well explained.
It can be challenging! But remember baby steps are the key to learning anything :)

My rifle was actually a 38 Ultimate but those got discontinued. I know use 36 or 37 3/4 elite rifles. Also 36 king rifles are good too!
I just cant seem to get the interrupt, it just doesnt work... Help?
Rosalind K Have you tried to slow down the video seed ,sorry if you don’t need it anymore since this was 4years ago😁.

So you add weights to the rifles to make them heavier, and then take the weights off for performances?

No rifle weighs ten pounds. The highest is 8 to 9 pounds. Weigh them if you dont believe me

Thanks so much! Let me know if there is anything else you would like me to make a video on!
alright we'll just deposit your confidence... invest it in an offshore bank.. invest it in a seashell business AND IT'S GONE!
one handed double time is called triple time...
flat to front. you are spinning on a weak 45. NEXT
the one handed ones make no freaking sense
What don't you understand? I might be able to clarify that for you.
Nevermind I got it thank you!! It just took a lot of practice!!!:)
Where did you get your practice rifle at.
where did you get your practice rifle at
Not sure where she got it but 36 inch King Rifles are the best to get they're expensive but really good.
your a good teacher!
Erica Stiff thank you!
