Man I am impressed by you young guys here on youtube now. Truly professional video. Very informative. No joking around just to fit in more minutes or something. Fantastic! Keep it up!
Hi Anthony, congratulations. You make a really great vídeo here. I began to follow you're channel. It's relly great to see that being so young, you make something very profesional. Thanks!!
One area worth looking into is a budget way to get into real estate photography. Since wide apertures are not needed, and there is less of a demand for fast shutter speeds since you will be using a tripod very often especially when you want to composite multiple exposures for a flash and ambient light blend, it makes for a good lens for interior and exterior shots. No need to go with a more expensive $500 10mm lens, since this one offers good detail. The next meaningful step up in quality comes from a wide angle perspective control lens.
Nice. I have this lens for a while now and I tried to do some star trails with it by connecting it to my Olympus em-10 II via an adapter with an aperture ring. I just could use the manual focus of this lens. I mean...the manual focus ring wasn't doing anything. What did I do wrong? TIA
Ive Nikon D5300 and planning to upgrade my lens. The problem with the kitlens is only that it hunts for focus even if the focus is locked. Will I be able to use this lens and not having the same problem which I had with Kitlens?
You'd need to use a Nikon FTZ adapter, but yes it would work. That said, Nikon has on their Z lens release map a 12-24m PZ (power zoom!) which may be sharper, or not...

Hi, do you think this lens is good for landscape videos? We have a Nikon D5600
Whilst it will produce videos, this degree of wide angle is not intended for close up portraits. It is not lens distortion; that is lens design. Landscapes, architecture, sweeping vistas - yes. 😎🇳🇿
Hey Anthony, did you edit this with Filmora 9? Just loving the colour grading in it. Please let me know if you have any videos on how to use colour grading in filmora... I am new to it and would love to learn from you. Thanks 😁
I actually edited this video in Premiere but I'm glad you liked it! I do have a section on color in my Filmora9 Beginner's Guide: ruclips.net/video/EELXSOvo-Rw/видео.html
Bro, may I know what camera you used? It’s a crop sensor or full sensor? I’m from Malaysia a lens like this cost RM1400. Looking forward to purchases for real estate photography. I’m using a D5600 Crop sensor, do you think this is suitable? As it’s really pricy I don’t want to make a silly mistake
Anthony Koonce Nice, I turned 17 in March. Your videos are very nicely edited/presented. I’m currently Studying a diploma in film. I’m interested in starting a RUclips channel similar to yours!
Sure you can correct distortion in Lightroom and Premiere. But I always find it worth mentioning there exists software that's not owned by Adobe. It's cool to have choice between Nikon, Sony, Nikon and much, much more manufacturers. Wouldn't it be cool to embrace competing software as well?

Great review Anthony, thanks very much!
This helps me. I am trying to decide between sigma and nikon. The only difference it is the f stop.
I've never used Sigma lenses, but the Nikon lens is still going strong for me 👍
Really good video. But would be helpful if you mentioned What camera body did you use to shoot on this lens?

I appreciate the kind words!
Do you think I should get this, or a tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 II or Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5?
Both have better build quality but no VR.
Super cool
What camera did you shoot this on
Hello . I still wondering who is best ? 10-20mm or 10-24mm. My camera is Nikon D3300
Witch camera do you use in this video
Which camera are you using for this lens???

Nice job hitting 1000 subscribers!
You should monetize your channel!

Check the camera compatibility list. Nikon advises that some features will only work on newer cameras.

Hi,
Is focus manual or automatic?
Thanks!
Both!
Actually really good quality videos based on how many subs you’ve got. I see you got to using those coloured dollar store backgrounds 👍
To be honest I'd almost forgotten I had them, I'm glad I remembered 😂

But at f/4.5 is this worth the buy for interior shots? My d3300 kits lens at f/3.5 is useless indoors.
I recently started using this lens as a replacement for my kit lens and it works just about anywhere 🤷♂️
Its a good lens and have a reasonable price. What camera are you using? I also have a nikon camera, nikon d6100
1000 subs completed .. Congratulations....
