  • The StuG III (Sturmgeschütz III) assault gun was one of Germany’s most produced vehicles during World War II. Based on the versatile Panzer III hull, it had an armoured superstructure or upper hull instead of a turret. Removing the turret allowed engineers to mount the powerful 7.5 cm Pak 39 L/48 gun, making it a powerful tank hunter.
The StuG III Ausf. G Expansion Pack adds a new tank type for players to employ in their platoons, the tank destroyer. When shooting from cover, tank destroyers are more likely to shrug off incoming enemy fire. Combined this with a Survivability of 2, the StuG III Ausf. G is best suited to lie in wait, providing covering fire to other tanks in the platoon.
In the online game the StuG III Ausf. G has excellent maneuverability and turning ability for a tank destroyer. Whilst it has a Mobility of 2 like most other tanks in the miniatures game it has good Initiative, allowing it to make the most of any opportunities that it is presented with. Adding Bernold Knoke to the crew can further enhance the Initiative of tank during the shooting phase.
Inside the StuG III Ausf. G Expansion Pack you will find a highly detailed, assembled, painted plastic StuG III Ausf. G miniature and tank card. Your tank can be further personalized to match your requirements using the five crew, module and upgrade cards included.
With a high Survivability and good firepower this Tank Destroyer lies in wait for its targets, just don’t let it get outflanked!
Contains a 1:100 scale pre-painted Tank, 5 Crew, Module, and Upgrade Cards, and an Online Bonus Code.

Thanks for the video! Really appreciate hearing your take on the Tanks and Cards! Hence I was wondering whether you'll also review the new Waves? Would be cool!

Yes that has always been the plan. Looks like my newer waves were stuck on a ship in the Suez Canal during that fiasco. Now that things are moving again they should be coming soon

@@Trueflights In a way it's cool to be part of current events I guess... ^^ But looking forward to when you finally have the chance!

I played several games with the HE gun but never worked well. Adds too much randomnes

Yeah I'm not a big fan of the way they did it in this game. In the original Tanks game. The various types of ammo were their own thing separate from the gun upgrades.
I would love this gun if it wasn't forced to use the HE ammo

@@Trueflights Right I like that upgrade M3 Lee has, where you can use either the big gun or small gun.

After watching this I am wondering if the eagle eye crew upgrade would work with the 105. That would give you 2 extra dice and you could change a regular hit dice to a crit.
I feel like that upgrade makes it way more viable unless it doesn't work because the regular hit doesn't count to start with due to the HE rule?
If anyone knows of those to work together I would love to know.

@@odinswolf_766 No reason why you couldn't do that. Good catch, that is a nice combo.
I do miss the original game though where the weapon upgrades were independent of the ammo upgrades. I think combining the two like this severely limits their usefulness.

@@Trueflights yeah the cromwell expansion comes with a larger gun option that gets the "big gun" rule(I think it's called) instead of HE rule. Let's you change a regular hit to a crit.
Would be great to have option of which to fire.
