I grew up going to Catholic School from 1st - 8th grades. Every May we had a May crowing of Mother Mary , with a beautiful crown of flowers for her head. I remember once being chosen to be the child to place the crown of flowers on her head. We also had some of the younger kids do a May pole, and we each got to make 2 May Day baskets to hang on someone doorknob.
The canister you said was to grow things is actually a seed sprouter for bean sprouts, alpha-alpha seeds, etc.... it's made by corning glass. And, came with different hole-sized plastic strainers to keep the seeds from all falling out when you rinse the seeds (3 times a day)... after the initial seed soaking overnight. 🙂💟🥰
Wanted to thank you again for taking us to your cousin's store! I received my ladle and it is so beautiful. Their craftmanship is remarkable and I encourage everyone to visit!
I used the same bride and groom kissing piece (mine was made in Japan) on top of my wedding cake. I also had the Mother Mary planter that I gave to my sweet neighbor who has a soft spot for her. I love the beautiful Fenton basket @ 7:17. The color is so striking! 💜
The Hedgehog "vase" looked like it had holes on the bottom. So, I think it is a thumb watering pot. you stick it in a bucket of water, put your thumb over the top hole, lift it out of the water and the water stays in until you lift your thumb off the top hole, then it showers the plants.
I can't believe your Goodwills! We don't have the inventory or the great stuff you find! As always I love seeing you and your family! Looking forward to next time!
Enjoyed your video. I laughed when you won the praying hands game and "scolded" your husband for not playing. I received my spoons from, your cousins shop, they are beautiful.
What a great Goodwill! I actually think that I saw a bag that I donated here in NJ in the first store. It was a very unique color and pattern, so OT really stood out! Also, I'm laughing because every time I saw you find the Friendly Viilage pieces, I found myself screaming, "Buy it, Dagney!" I have a small set and I'd love to find more pieces at a good price. Also, memories of the May Crowning, with that statue of Mary. Great, fun video. Thanks so much!❤️
Those lusterware pieces are lovely and I really liked those two pottery goblets. I hope your cousin can send to Australia because I really love their stuff. Glad you are home and making videos. Well done Dagny.
The tall, clear glass 'made to grow things' is a seed sprouter! The top is used to keep sprouts in, after rinsing with cool water. Usually there are maybe three different lids, of graduating sized holes to hold back rinsed seeds as well as fully sprouted sprouts for salads, sandwiches, etc.
I just received my saute spoons from your cousin's etsy store and I LOVE them! I already have unique tea towels for several people for Christmas (I always buy ahead!) and now will tie the spoons with the towels for a beautiful gift! It was fun shopping with you, as always:)
The Blue Glasses were probably mis-marked, I'll bet they were supposed to be .99 each. Ask next time, this happened to me and they apologized because of the mistake & found many other mis-marked items too. I was able to purchase them at the correct prices 😀
I live in Charleston WV our store hasn’t been stocked very good lately. But I still prefer to shop there. Most of the employees are friendly they speak when I come in and sometimes when I’m leaving.
Coffee pot was beautiful. Shame you didn’t get at least 2 of the cups. Our stores are scantily stocked, not so fun for sure. Glad you enjoyed yourselves!!!
As a fairly new Fenton collector, I am so jealous you found the gorgeous blue basket for 2.99! Great finds 👏 👌 and I have to tell you Dagney, I get so tickled when you do the confetti when you find the praying hands! 🙏 🎉

Hope you enjoyed your cross country road trip! I enjoy your thrifting videos. I love your commentary whether in the moment or voice over. I’m glad you got that shell hanging. I really like that!💚💚💚
I was so excited to hear you were in Wellsboro! I live not too far from there and had family that lived in the area...Stoney Fork. It is a beautiful town. It is a Good Will I frequent often...and I am so jealous of the Fenton basket you found but so happy for you :) I agree on the crowded shelves...they are great but they really need more for the Knick knacks. Hope I run into you there sometime :)
There’s a thrift store here in Arizona, where I live it’s Deseret Industries Thrift and their shelves are always packed full like that and I feel the same way that they should have more shelves because I find so many things chipped up from being stuffed on the shelves with everything else!!
Hi dagney I received my t shirt and I love it 😀 you made a good job of the colours and design. Love all your videos 📹 . Hope you are all well and have a lovely day together ❤ lot's of love from Nancy in Scotland x
Dagny-welcome home! What great finds-so many pretty things. Curiosity question: why didn't you get all of the lusterware cannister set? Damage, or-sigh...budget? Dont know why we all can't afford to be rich!! 🌿🌸🌿 Thanks for the fun shopping trip-wish you'd found the base to the fairy lamp!
Fenton basket for $2.99? Goodwills here would charge around $15-20. PA Goodwills merch is so reasonably priced so I'm wondering if those $7.99 glasses were priced per set?
Did i hear you say your Aunt Mac had that pattern? i had an Aunt Mac also! i never thought anything of it as a child. My uncle's name was Benny and they were known by everyone as Mac and Benny : ) i heard it was her nickname based on her maiden name so i'll have to ask Mom what that was....hmmmm now you have me curious. Loved the treasure hunt and thanks for sharing your finds with us
I live just north of Dallas, the GW around my area are always sparse, what they do have in hard goods is usually chipped!! (I think damaged must be a requirement!)
"I'll see ya" ALWAYS makes me smile.
You are a joy to watch with your beautiful family!
You are so kind
It’s nice you have a helper. I think your hubby is really getting into thrifting now.
I wish I had neighbors like your family! Love y’all. 🥰
I absolutely LOVE that your favorite adjectives are "pretty" and "neat". You are just so wholesome and I LOVE your channel! 😍
Thank you so much!!🐷

Loved that little dancing lady you put back.
That blue Fenton was divine!
I agree 👍
Amazing! I cannot believe the sheer quantity on the shelves.

What a FANTASTIC score on that Fenton basket!! Jimmy is such a likable person. He radiates kindness, like you!
Omg…it would take me a whole day to get through that first shell!!😂
I loved the puppy and the Virgin Mary and Baby Jesus purchases!!! Great Video!!!
Welcome home Dagny. Hope you had an awesome Mother’s Day.
Wanted to thank you again for taking us to your cousin's store! I received my ladle and it is so beautiful. Their craftmanship is remarkable and I encourage everyone to visit!
Me too! I love it
I bought 2 sauté (or sauce) spoons after the episode and love them!
Definitely love my coffee and tea scoops from them.
Oh the left on bride and groom was soooo cute. Loved the blue Fenton basket

The tall cylinder with growing instructions on it is for growing sprouts. Love those packed shelves!
I liked the Bavarian coffee cups! And the hedgehog!
Me too 😁
Dagney, love your hubby, he's such a great sport!!
I think so too :)
Wow!!! Soooooo much stuff!!! Chilly here in VA yesterday, so I wore my new long-sleeved royal blue Flying Pig Thrifts t-shirt!!!
The Hedgehog "vase" looked like it had holes on the bottom. So, I think it is a thumb watering pot. you stick it in a bucket of water, put your thumb over the top hole, lift it out of the water and the water stays in until you lift your thumb off the top hole, then it showers the plants.
Yes, I have one like it.
I loved that piece but have never heard of a thumb watering pot, so thank you so much for sharing that information!
Beautiful Mary planter for my May altar!
Wow! Massively packed shelves!

That is awesome! 😃
Looks like you enjoyed your vacation trip and shopping trip. Good for you.
I believe your coffee pot is actually a chocolate service, usually with 4 cups.
I’ve always heard that chocolate pots were wider at the bottom so u could swirl the chocolate before u poured.

I agree Linda...so many treasures :)
I think i may have seen the base of the fairy light around 9:20. It definitely looks like the same color glass.
Gee....I kind of thought the base for the fairy light was on the shelf below ??
I thought the same thing too!
I live in Charleston WV our store hasn’t been stocked very good lately. But I still prefer to shop there. Most of the employees are friendly they speak when I come in and sometimes when I’m leaving.

Great finds!
I'm too late Dagney, but the second part to your find at 9:08, may have been at 9:20 (bottom R of the screen). Matchy, matchy or not? 🤔
Wish my Goodwill's looked like this!
I was so excited to hear you were in Wellsboro! I live not too far from there and had family that lived in the area...Stoney Fork. It is a beautiful town. So cool 😃. Stony Fork Campground was our first experience in that area...we love it 🐷
I'm always amazed at the sheer volume of "stuff" in the hard goods in your stores! Here in SW Florida, we might have three or four shelved sections.
You found some treasures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My daughter and myself play find the “praying hands “! Because of you and Crazy Lamp Lady!
Love that!
So many neat things off to your ebay store now
Oh my 😮 the shelves were really packed! You found some cool things. Looks like your hubby is really getting into the thrifting business 🙂
💜
Awesome video at the Goodwill!!!!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it🐷
Amazing how full your Goodwills are. Nice.
There is nothing better than jam packed shelves😀 Dig like a bear🐻
🤣
Hope you find a fairy light bottom.
Love the coffee pot, I would have thought it was a chocolate pot.
There’s a thrift store here in Arizona, where I live it’s Deseret Industries Thrift and their shelves are always packed full like that and I feel the same way that they should have more shelves because I find so many things chipped up from being stuffed on the shelves with everything else!!
Yes as a thrift shopper myself I admit I’m jealous of the GW u shop at, ours in NC ( Rowan/cabarrus county ) are very small 😞
Thanks for sharing 👍🏼 you found some great stuff good to have someone tall to see the top shelf 😀
Thanks for watching!
That Marian planter is wonderful. Ave!
Trinket dish with roses looked intact🥰
Lovely things!
The lovely coffee pot is actually a chocolate pot, the spout is the clue. Hope you picked up the cups, even if you just took the 3 best.
Hi dagney I received my t shirt and I love it 😀 you made a good job of the colours and design. Love all your videos 📹 . Hope you are all well and have a lovely day together ❤ lot's of love from Nancy in Scotland x
Thank you so much Nancy in Scotland for the kind words ❤️
That goblet at 6:09 is Bill Campbell Pottery!!!!
the adorable pot is a chocolate pot & those cups match
That first Good Will needs more shelves! There is a group that has mismatched fairy lamps, not sure of the name. I always enjoy your videos.
I would love to go through that shelf.
Your goodwill are much much nicer and more organized
I've been to Dubrovnik, it's in Croatia. 💜💜
So many “Knick knacks” as my grandma called them.
You are both great together!!!😌☮️💟🤡🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🦋❤️❤️❤️

When you switched to the kitchen aisle I wanted to yell, “wait! wait! I’m not through!” 🤣
Sorry :)
@@FlyingPigThrifts it’s okay. 😄

Budget...so I picked things I thought might be interesting. 🤗
@@FlyingPigThrifts Budgets! Sigh...You did great, Dagny!

The small leather purse would have been a good buy, black chicken as well🥰
That goodwill is a dream one
It was nice to be in a "full" Goodwill again!
I live just north of Dallas, the GW around my area are always sparse, what they do have in hard goods is usually chipped!! (I think damaged must be a requirement!)
