I use Crystal ash trays as pedestals for my paperweights. It adds height & interest. Just turn them over upside down. Even if they are chipped. No one sees the chips on the edges when it's upside down. Just a thought for those of you that display things in china cabinets too.
I would love, someday to see how you keep all your personal collections. Some people think that I have too many things. I actually never display all my things at the same time. I rotate depending on the season.
Any RUclips creator can reveal as much or as little as they like about what the inside of their homes look like, but I would think that too much transparency would be a security risk.
I cried out no when you left that XL fish planter behind. There's a sold price for around 300, but I would have just grabbed it because it is a fish planter. I believe it is a California pottery piece.
I so enjoy shopping along with you since I really don’t have much time to thrift myself but I do enjoy the hunt - always have. Thanks for sharing your shopping experiences with us and for giving us a glimpse into your life.
The difference between Waterford and Marquise Waterford is how it is processed. Waterford is cut by hand while Marquis Waterford is cut by machine. Waterford is more expensive and has more elaborate designs than the Marquise. I own both Waterford and Marquise Waterford pieces. I love both of them! I love how you educate us on what to look for when thrifting. I have learned a lot from you and still am. I have recently scored some great pieces after learning from you what to look for! Keep up the good work! Thank you!
The item that «weirded You out» was a christmas decor illustration agoldfish in a bag, when You buy goldfish in a store, You Get them in plastic bags to bring home to your fishtank
The clear glass Christmas tree actually had tiny glass ornaments. I received one from a friend in the mid nineties! Maybe someone repurposed it for wine charms!
Hi Jocelyn, I hope you're all doing great. As this video ended, another popped up from a Yr ago. "WHAT SOLD" I truly miss those vids. I found them educational and helpful in my business. I wish you would consider at least 1 "W. S" per what sold per the week. You don't have to show when you purchased it, but just the sold aspect of the sale. Pick a day for the "W.S" vid. Can I get an Amen?? Lol😅 love you❤
A vintage bird cage is one of the coolest things I've seen. Didn't buy it. Filthy, but the sculptural fragile mesh survived a century. That thing had vibe. Last week I bought another coolest thing. A faceted Flavio Poli sommerso vase, Murano, made from uranium glass. Holy grail tier vintage. Like Indiana Jones I quickly replaced it with a bag of sand to not set off any booby traps.
The green plates you picked up; the two on the top were Old Curiosity Shop, the one on the bottom was the backstamp you saw Colonial Homestead. Similar color but different theme. I have a huge set of the Old Curiosity Shop handed down from my great grandma. We use every Thanksgiving as they have a winter scene.
I just started working for a thrift store….you are right about the same items ending up at various locations….the brand I work for has a 5 week shelf life, after of which items are pulled from the shelves and re-examined. They are either price dropped or sent to a different location where the item might be more popular and sell quicker. Anything that may be deemed unsaleable gets recycled. Very interesting process. I will say the staff do not get first dibs on anything. There is an entire process in place from donations to sorting to pricing to sales floor. There are also cameras in place all over. It’s quite crazy and a little unfair but at the same time they claim all items are owned by them if they are on the property and we are they to do a job/serve the community first and foremost.
I almost spit out my coffee when I saw those eyes! I have a Ditmar Urbach heart Coffee pot set from my husband’s grandmother from Czechoslovakia, it’s amazing!
I could be wrong... but the round bird cage was sold out of Pottery Barn in the 1980's... so vintage at 44 years old. They came in Small and Large... of course, I could be wrong. It might have been another store. And I'm okay with that.
Hi from Columbia, SC! I loved the fish! Great for the garden, or a potted plant. My great grandmother had one in her bathroom by the tub filled with soaps.
Yikes... That Santa's eyes (frame 19:30 ). Thats right up there with the " Black Eyed Children " kind of Creepy !! Like telling Santa you've been good all year ( an you know you lied ), an he turns to you with those eyes, an... well lets just say thats the stuff of nightmares ! 😁🙃
It was a very pretty bowls goodwill shop. The Victorian ruffle bowl was so cheap too and doesn’t really need its metal handle and the super pretty yellow decorated bowl 🎉
When you were looking at the #2 pitcher, there may be a Kent Follette apple baking dish on the shelf. It has blue trim like he does with his pottery. He’s a known potter in Louisiana.
Some of the polices of the stores are ridiculous. They would prefer to not sell an item why? Loved your Thanksgiving video and catching up with family, too.
Hi Jocelyn can You please tell me how i can purchage You musical jewelry box with blue lined inside I looked and your channels Ebay and Nick nat and don't finder.
The fish planter was epic!! I’m shocked you left it. It would be gorgeous on the patio of the Air B&B. ❤

That's great, thanks!
@almostoily7541 you're welcome!
I think the 2 cute crystal covered dishes are butter ball servers placed on the dining table for the rolls

I would have kept that fish....it was pretty cool. Oh Well....coulda woulda shoulda
The Goodwill I go to just got baggies!!! Now I get what the hype is😉
I like the bird cages for decoration too. I also liked the mug and tree
I cried out no when you left that XL fish planter behind. There's a sold price for around 300, but I would have just grabbed it because it is a fish planter. I believe it is a California pottery piece.
Saaammme! Came here to say that 🦈😍
I just love when you show Santa eyes and bunny eyes…I sit alone and laugh out loud…😂❤
Agree 😅

The little clear vase with flowers on it that you thought should have a lid I think is a bulb vase. Like paperwhites or hyacinths
The piece at 12:12 was so so cool! Loved it. Too bad about the damage. And the ruffled bowl you found after made me tickly inside! So beautiful!!

The metal holder to the glass bridal basket is probably over at the other Goodwill, where you found those other Crystal wine glasses.
“Here you go lady. Here’s your hands back.” 😂😂😂😂
I have a blue fish planter like that. My daughter won it playing pokeno and gave it to me.
I had to laugh,at you showing the creepy Santas eyes😂
The 'Santa's eyes' made me actually laugh out loud. 😂
He had "serial killer" eyes😁
🎅 yeah that was an evil Santa
Santa has Manson Lamps! 😂
You could also use them for butter pats

Huge fish planter was amazing
I have a bridal basket from the late 1800s that belonged to my great grandparents. The holder is sterling silver.
They are butter dishes. I sold a set a couple months ago.
Chunky ashtray’s work for me as a spoon rest in the kitchen
Also have one one my bathroom counter as a little catchall 😊
I want that bird cage! ❤😊

Awesome treasures!! ❤❤❤
The fish planter would have been good to go next to a pond
I would have grabbed that silver lidded powder jar. I love those.
That Santa had soulless eyes!
Violets go in a double
Pot. Outside one holds water which you immerse the second one into. Water should never touch the plant leaves.
I noticed on the bottom of a shelf was a Hand painted Day of the Dead yellow red devil skull Kah Tequila decanter. They sell for 35.00 to 80.00.
At what time stamp?
Where is your b-b located?
I put my extra yarn inside birdcages so I can see what I have to look forward to. No feeding necessary.
It looks like the vase that is used to grow a bulb.
Thought the same, grows a crocus bulb. 😊
I loved the green fish ,you could put a fen in it ,have it in the bathroom ❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Oh I loved that too! I would have been thrilled to find it in a charity shop. It would look great on my window cill in the bathroom too. 🇬🇧
That ashtray was beautiful 👀🧫 lol 14:30
The wine charm tree could be used as a ring tree
I bought one with tiny ornaments on it!
OMG! Santa’s eyes! Terrifying is correct, 😮
Great finds.

I recently sold a similar cookie jar made by California Pottery for $150. I was so happy! I think it's called Cookies All Over.
I’m sitting here thinking of all the cool things to do with the big Fish….. put in foyer with fern in it …….
Nice to see you again Jocelyn!! ❤😊
Happy shopping!!!
Hi from Columbia, SC! I loved the fish! Great for the garden, or a potted plant. My great grandmother had one in her bathroom by the tub filled with soaps.
Appropriate music in the background around 1:40 = These are the good times! 🎵🎶

🤣”Black eyed children”
Happy Thanksgiving from your Canadian friends!
Santa has those “I’m getting too old for this!” Eyes 😗
It was a very pretty bowls goodwill shop. The Victorian ruffle bowl was so cheap too and doesn’t really need its metal handle and the super pretty yellow decorated bowl 🎉
I've just had a buyer request a picture of Santa's eyes! They bought it so must have passed the test! 😁
Hopefully you had a great Thanksgiving 🦃
Aluminum can be polished.
What great finds. I really liked the Santa. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
TAKE THE GARDEN FISH!!
The aluminum bowl might be nice to use at the air bnb and not too expensive in case someone " borrows" it.
Nambé sells for good money especially that size.
That grape poodle is a great find! Hope his tail is in the bag 😬

Bag was soap with a toy fish in it.
That green fish planter. It is the bomb. Wow you didn’t get it ?
The fish in the bag was soap
Fun to catch it first!
Glycerine soap is my guess on the baggie with blue toy embedded.
The solid baggie with the fish and weird smell was most likely soap. Kids soap, they wash and eventually get the toy fish inside.
That’s a fun idea to make with your kiddos!
I have one of those glass trees. It has tiny glass ornaments with it. ❄️
You did not fix your nails for
Christmas?☃️🌲
Love the video
You have the most beautiful skin. Your hands are flawless. Then I looked at mine and saw a lifetime of scars, dark knuckles etc.
You're beautiful too! Just the way you are! 💞
Your hands show you have had a real life.
The crystal tree is not for charms. It came with miniature Christmas ornaments.
To
That Santa's eyes were definitely creepy.
Pick up the fish planter!
Santa eyes 😮😂 I have to start looking
Neat ! I had no idea there were special dishes for caviar.
Loved the video❤😊.
Happy thanksgiving! 🦃
Love your stories for everything … oh Darn It 😋
Hello from Idaho !!! Saw a Fenton Milk glass basket !!! ❤❤❤
I grew up on Colonial Homestead plates/bowls and love them. Understandable that they're not resale worthy though.
Love your videos
2:20 could that be shaped for forcing flower bulbs? Does anyone know?
Fun to see Berkshire pottery! They are a small potter in Hillsdale NY right on the boarder with Massachusetts. I grew up in the area. ❤
i grew up in Columbia County and never knew this was there. I can't wait to visit.
I wonder if that Keurig holder could be used to hold antique Christmas ornaments or if they would fit?
I think it might be for holding round glass spice pots
I think it was for holding round, clear glass spice pots
Thanks
You could buff the Nambe.
How do you buff out the scratches? I haven't had any success.
Santa has gotten his eyes tattooed!
The weird fish in a bag made me think of the Murano ones. Perhaps that’s what the maker was aiming for….?
Hey there Jocelyn ❤😊
Are studio pottery mugs usually microwave safe?
What was the vase you picked up, did not know what made it special? Just curious, I am a reseller myself and love to learn
Cloisonne vase. Very collectable and can be worth lots of money depending on size and age.
Thank you, I was not sure if it was a certain special maker. I really appreciate it.
@@rhondadupras2477 You are welcome
I understand the mug test, I have to do it with silverware. 😂
Santa's eyes stared into my soul... creepy! 😂
Green Fish guggle jug
19:32 yeah, that's Krampus
Outen the lights is PA dutch for please turn off the lights😅
Hi Jocelyn can You please tell me how i can purchage You musical jewelry box with blue lined inside I looked and your channels Ebay and Nick nat and don't finder.
It might not have been processed yet because of the holiday.
Love your videos California ❤
Yes the fish in the bag was creepy 😮😅
