Hey Benny! Long time lurker here. You've successfully turned me into a mortar one trick. It's so diverse and satisfying. Had a shower thought and crafted this monstrosity of a deck: Evo mortar, Evo pekka, Skelly Barrel, Zap, Nado, Bats, Gob Gang and electro spirit. Surprisingly, it carried me to ultimate champion with only one loss. Might be a bit to ask, but I'd love to get your opinion/see you pilot it. If you could chuck the deck in an upcoming video I would be forever thankful. Much love my dude
Cannon cart + guards does a lot of dps on the RG. You just need to play defensive and get chip with miners and counter pushes. In double/triple you can play offensive mortars when they go RG in the back. Otherwise don't mortar when they have their RG in cycle because it essentially gives them a 2 elixir RG.
I would say that you really want to rely on cannon cart first, and then get guards infront of the cannon cart asap to stop the fisherman from pulling it. When I play against Royale giant, I always want them to play their Royale giant in response to my mortar, then I counter push off defending their RG that they played. This stops them from being able to support the RG each time, and the match gets kind of deadlocked for you to out chip them!
Telsa, Mortar, Knight, Goblins, Ice Wizard, Tornado, Rocket, and Log. That's been my main deck since forever it would be great if you used it for a video 😅😅
Great vid. I use the evo bats spears version because the spears do great chip damage for only 2 elixir and bats are good vs cannoneer. The drags are nice though, a bit more sturdy air defense and a good support troop. I also like the extra bait cards having good synergy with the SK. As for the meta, I think the evo pekka is too strong. It's almost in every deck at the moment, which really indicates that it's too powerful. Evo MK is not as bad but I still think it shouldn't knock back heavy units. I might try to break my PB (top 8k) but facing pekka almost every game is boring.
I do have to say right now in midladder (5000-6000 trophies for me) theres a lot of pekka evo megaknight wiz spam going on and its kind of a pain to deal with and it gets me sometimes. very frustrating meta to play against at this skill range right now
I watched this video 2 times nice video bro evo bekka makes me feel like I’m in hell literally and the match making gave me full hard counters this is so sad

@@BennyRoyale I’m bad against lumber-loon freeze, and I also struggle against some of the low elixir stuff, like Hog 2.6, but if I’m patient, I hold my own.
what I find is no matter what deck I use I get bizarre hard counters that I have no idea what to do with and since there is no rematch I can't really learn anything and then I feel like breaking my phone so I stop playing
I assume its because theyre spell resistant, guards have enough shield to survive same level arrows, it also takes quite a few hits from units to take them down individually, theyre kind of like a mini tank and swarm hybrid which grants them insane versatility
He said that they were good against evo mk (and also very good against pekka) at the beginning; usually guards and goblin gang aren't much better than eachother but some metas and trophy ranges switch it up They're probably decent in this deck since skele drags can handle air cards negating the reliance on goblin gang spear gobs

Guards are better vs pekka. Almost every deck is running guards at the moment.
