Back in the day, on the Lost forums, there was a board called 'Lost Book Club' where people discuss the books that are shown or mentioned on Lost, which were carefully picked. Watership Down, was one of those, a great epic book for older children and adults about a group of yes, rabbits, trying to find a better life. Excellent novel.
Again, so impressed at how you're figuring out all this stuff. 😮 But it's great because sometimes people miss things, sometimes pretty obvious things that are important, and I want to tell them "No!!! Go back and look at _____ and _____!!! Don't you see the connection?! Pay attention!!!" 😁 I don't think that'll happen with you. Great reaction!
What Jack's father was trying to say was, he doesn't want to take on such a responsability because when he fails, it will only make him suffer more and more. That's what happenes when you're too sympathetic, you take other people's problems on yourself and then?
What Jack's dad said about still enjoying life after his patient died is not actually strange at all - health care workers see people die every single day. If we didn't disassociate from it, we couldn't show back up to work again the next day (much less finish the rest of our shift). If we cried over every single patient like they were our own family member, we'd be crying all day every day.
As I said, I definitely understand the need to disassociate, the strange part for me was how was he able to act like nothing happened so quickly. Of course I was just putting myself in his shoes and wasn't trying to offend anyone
I am pretty sure you are the most observant person i've seen react to this show (at times it feels like you watched this show already). Most people miss a lot of the things you catch on your first time watching. I love how you spot things and put them together.

Thanks for another great reaction. I have a feeling this show was made for you.

I can understand that but I still believe his choise of words and timing were really bad. To me it looked like Jack misunderstood his words as well
@@danielaam9058 yeah, I think so too

Man..am I the only one who feels jacks dads advice to him is highly misunderstood and that to by most reactors...😞
I think so too. Maybe going forward she will realise what he really meant. But it's fair to say that everyone misunderstood his words.
Sorry for misunderstanding him
I appreciate your personal drama sir, but we can't put a dead body in a coffin on an airplane without paperwork.
