Event Description: In recent years, risk-based approaches have emerged as strategic tools for setting priorities for food safety research, policy, and interventions. Driven by data, risk-based approaches can focus resources on pathogens, value chains, and food safety practices with the greatest impact on human health and nutrition. This webinar, hosted by the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Food Safety, provides an introduction to using risk-based methods in food safety and was followed by a second webinar highlighting case studies that applied these approaches.
