Very enlightening. I needed to hear this perspective. I wish victims like me didn't have to seek out these videos. I wish that they were readily available to victims after they have given their statement to police. Thank you so much for putting this video together and posting it on youtube.
Also they probably need to be attorneys because they have to be able to convince the d.a. To file charges. But if I have a bag of weed god forbid anything else warrant is out immediately
Back in the day they never belived inhe say she say story. But nowdays even audio and video still doesn't help the supposedly experience investigators. this video is the first video that is 11years old and saying exactly what investigators Need to say to the victim of crimes.
Nice. Most victims don’t really want “justice.” We just want the rest of society to show they care, and they’re saddened this happened to us. We don’t actually care what happens to the perpetrator(s).
It is absurd for him to state that 'trauma is trauma", and then equate a tornado experience to sexual assault. The trauma of interpersonal violence is a completely different thing that really defies the ability of speech to communicate. I also believe that we have to move away from the myth that "men are perpetrators and women are victims", it serves neither one. The numbers of men that are sexually assaulted by women is rapidly increasing and we have to move the conversation towards understanding that sexual violence is about power, and not gender.
I addition, it’s about some women exploiting societal Cade for women and use that as a weapon to accuse men for their own selfish needs…it’s being common with me too movement - as a result men are very cautious to support women at work…

If the sexual offenses are not reported then how do authorities know the percentage of reported compared to unreported.

Also I think Investigators need to have more experience than the I past the test scenario to be an iinvestigatorsgators
