    Great video, I’m curious if in this video and future videos you could maybe mention why some people would get issues like this where some people have the complete opposite, this example being flat feet.

    The plantar fascia actually shortens during stance phase not lengthens. Its also not inflammation which causes this hence why it should be called plantar fasciopathy

    Thanks for this Conor, do you have any suggestions for outside of the foot pain? I used to have plantar fasciitis but the 90/90 and simple calf raises fixed that. I now have pain on the outside of the foot. Would doing your leaning move in the opposite way work?

    Hey Connor I been recently really into your content as I found it very informative. But one contradiction I couldn’t seem to figure out is that what if my body is in the left aic pattern but my face and jaw leans to the right? Wouldn’t theoretically trying correct my pelvis make my jaw lean even worse?

    • @ephelesfrance7006
      @ephelesfrance7006 Месяц назад +2

      there are many different compensations on top of the left AIC pattern. but 100% every single person unless birth defects is in the left AIC pattern as those people all have a asymetrical body. just that some people are too much in the left AIC pattern and body hangs out too much in the right side and does not get to the left side. amazingly like even if you are lieing down not effected by gravity the body still hanging out too much on the right side. its in the brain now. need to teach the brain its safe to sometimes goto the left side.
      PRI can get quite complex especailly people with head issues. all your analysis paralysis. i just try all for the left AIC and see what layers it removes. as then you have the other layer whats happening in the head. PRI is not really something that a newbie on youtube can pick up with the difficutl cases. i wouldnt think your head get worse. but it may not help as whats going on in your head have to deal with. and if after trying not get improvement then hire a professional certified in PRI.

      squat university did not do a much better job on this as you told us. i dont see anything mentioning that its mostly on the right side foot because the left AIC pattern produces a very high right foot arch and collapsed left foot arch. also your squat university didnt mention anything about getting the right inner foot to sense the ground. thus reteaching the brain as 2nd video here when lifting up calf does 3X30 seconds.
      all your squat university will do is temp pain releif as lacrosse ball massage but the main problem that is in your fantasy brain thinkings still remains. and comes back.
      long ago time ago i realzied stretching was useless a waste of time long term. now i am thinking myofascial release techniques ie foam roll ie lacrosse ball long tern near useless as well.

      I have been trying everything to help my si joint hypermobile dysfunction (injury), which led to psoas dysfunction, back. My whole body. I've talked to an SI coach and it took her 5 years and 9 specialists to find the right person that addresses it and that is MET/MAT. I just started it and what I have learned is that whether it's Conor, PRI, reiki message, mediation, MET/MAT, what they all have in common is relaxing the nervous system and reprogramming the mind muscle connection, to tell the brain it's ok to release the tension on that muscle. And that's what decreases inflammation, pain, stiffness.
      I've done countless stretches, massage, acupuncture. It doesn't work. In fact, for this, acupuncture just aggravates my body. The only thing that has had some help was true myofascial masaage, a gentle release of holding pressure for several minutes or longer, like melting butter. But it's not going to address movements and postures of the body like Conor or similar. That's the difference.
      Shockwave has been super helpful for releasing adhesions and nerve entrapments. Honestly, it's a. godsend. I just had it applied to my right outside knee. It hurt like hell. But I could feel the difference in my si joint. Less pressure! Whatever my doctor is doing, it's working
      Chiro has also been helpful. my body responds very well to cracking.
      I've tried so many modalities. PRP too. Trigger point injections. The only modalities I havent tried stem cell, prolotherapy, Alexander, rolfing, and feldenkrais. Rolfing I hear is like the deep tissue version of myofascial release. The other two are postural modalities.
      I've seen some of the squat university stuff and some of it has similar principles of retraining the brain to let go. Obviously, the stuff Conor does is more masters or PHD type of stuff. It's just very detailed of why you're doing it. I'm checking out one of conor's colleagues who's part of that PRI world. This is what the pro athletes all use. Same goes for MAT/MET. Cause it works. I think I'm on the right track and I will be beating this si joint issue eventually.

      @@jonathanmitchell1776 fun fact ive met some real cluesless wonders from oregon in asia. it ended real bad for them. but id say number 1 reason for plantar fascitiis is in the right foot as high right foot arch from the left AIC pattern. fix the left AIC pattern in you and like magic all these so called problems just disappear as once body aligned properly there is no need to compensate.
      i can name a few back stabing pain in the rhombods mid back. left TFL pain. right QL pain. all are just symptoms not the cause.
