Thank you for capturing such carefully produced archive footage of this almost opening day attraction (opened the day after). I remember (from recordings) that Walt himself said that the parks will never be finished, always adding and changing. I don't have the history many have for full nostalgia but have enjoyed the Liberty Belle on occasion and will enjoy this video today and as long as it is available!! We, your viewers 4K, are so fortunate (blessed?) to have such a talented videographer with so much love of WDW to record these things for us!!
I really appreciate your super kind words my friend! I’m glad I can at least capture this attraction before it closes, and even I will watch this in the future once the ride is closed forever. Thank you so much!!!
🚢🪕Disney plans aside, filming on the Liberty Belle is no joke. Getting the narration clear alone is a major accomplishment. People constantly move around and just start talking LOUDLY right next to you while you are trying to get a "clean" copy. (does it sound like I'm talking from experience? yeah) Nice catching the sections on both sides. Your zoom lense really caught alot nicely (crazy no people were on the bridge linking the islands considering the outcry of its closing) I feel DL's "storyline" is a bit more in-depth though. Either way, I feel we'll see the LBelle used in some capacity either at Epcot or DSprings. You are so archiving things quickly.... 💦💦🚢💜
Probably the one downside to this is the audio, it’s so low, almost to the point you can’t hear it anywhere. Really do want to see this utilized elsewhere
Yep I know what you mean Liz. I’ve tried to capture the audio like this before and it just didn’t work out until now. It had rained a lot before this so it wasn’t as busy around like usual. Hopefully the boat goes somewhere after it closes, but it’ll take a very long time to get used to the area without all of this. Thanks so much Liz😊
@@CraigSiegel32 It would be awesome if Disney released some of the source audio files from these older attractions marked to be closed or already closed in the past!
Thank you so for filming the Liberty Belle and the ride. As many know, this shall soon be a thing of the past because of Disney's decision to replace it with Cars. Instead, I wish they would replace Tomorrowland Speedway with Cars. I understand the park makes changes from time to time, but why take away something that is so iconic, enjoyable and pretty to look at.
Riding on the Liberty Belle is a treat. The narration was spot on and pleasant to listen to. Hard to believe WDW has decided this ship and ride needs to be replaced, and that is a shame. Thanks for taking us along on this rde
I’m glad I finally got to capture the audio perfectly after many attempts! I’m gonna miss this a lot, the park won’t feel the same without it to me. Thank you as always Bill!!
Thanks for this. I'm going to miss this attraction, Beacon Joe and his dog. Wish there was a way this could be kept. There's plenty of land. But anywho...excellent vid as always 4K.
Yeah, I would have rather seen a re-theme to a Tiana's waterfront restaurant or something. How cool would that be to have to take a raft to your reservation! Then the paddleboat can stay too as it fits in with New Orleans!
I think my family was on the river boat when you filmed this one. I saw you walking around the boat filming. I enjoy watching your videos without the talking like most other channels. Fun to see this get posted...
So you know, we are outside on the patio grilling and we have your video on while we sit and talk. In all our years of going to Disney, we’ve never ridden the liberty boat, but we plan to when we go in October. 😊
I know for some people change can be hard and even sad. Walt Disney has always been about change and progress. WDW is still honoring his wishes. In my opinion they are try to bring something new without taking away from some of the main classics like the Haunted Mansion or Space Mountain. I think they are doing a good job if keeping the past and bringing in new attractions. Some of these new attractions are going to create amazing memories for future generations just like how I have my memories from going to WDW since the early 1990's until present day.
I really hope somehow someway they backtrack on ridding of rivers of America. If not, then the current powers that be at Disney have truly lost their way.
@@CraigSiegel32 and it’s strange to me that (for now) they are keeping the speedway even with getting the Cars ride. I suspect the speedway is on borrowed time.
Have to admit, we will miss the nostalgia of Rivers of America. However, in the spirit of Walt’s ultimate vision of an ever changing/evolving experience, my son and I are okay with the changes.
They always love using the WD saying about we will always be changing right before they destroy something. WD was also about nostalgia, or there wouldn’t have been Main Street USA, PotC, HM, etc. These corporate hacks today never actually had to live outside and have an imagination of their own. They only copy and re-imagine.
Change isn’t always good. And the fact that this will be gone soon is not good at all. WDW has started to change into something that I do not want to spend time and money at, and that makes me very sad.

R.I.P. Liberty Belle Riverboat! 🚢🪕😭
Hard to see a staple leave, but I love "Cars!" Thanks for giving us a chance to ride the Liberty Boat whenever we like, 4K!

Hello, Exactly!!! 😮
Thanks for preserving this ride before it gets the axe. A great gentle attraction rather like the Carousel of Progress.
You know time is limited on all these older attractions. Enjoy them while we still have them.

To never hear that ‘sound’ again; there are no words. 🤬📢🍿
I agree Scott, I’m really not happy about this change

Hopefully!

É uma loucura imaginar que essa área inteira vai deixar de existir, os exclusivos da Disney são extremamente sem noção e sem consideração
