This is a very beautiful song; I love the addition of the choir here.
Romain writes lyrics that feel universal, that feel timeless. In this song, one line that I imagine many have said (if only to themselves) is "We said it would just be friendly." This could be a song about a love that never should have been. And of coming to realize one doesn't even know why he continues to stay in the relationship. There is no anger, no bitterness or heartbreak, maybe only the realization that the only trap that one is in, is a trap of his own creation.
But then, how does one say goodbye? "I'll stay another night if you want me to" is poignant. One doesn't care either way, he is just being polite, showing respect. And then, finally, when one has found enough courage to learn what lies beyond the door, one says what he needs to say before walking through it "But never ever draw me back to you."
Your comments always fill me with joy cause you analyse my lyrics with such depths and it really make them worth it for me to write. So thank you very much 🙏🏻
Man that was very real for me. I gave my all for someone over 10 years only to be told she never loved me. She was grateful I was there to support her whilst she faced her demons. That's better than her succumbing to them. She was dealt a very hard life.

The music industry along with Hollywood are all the same. They will crush you and ruin your life. Romain has a very special opportunity to make his own way. If youtube stays around and he can make a living for a short while as well as study the algorithms like other youtubers have (I hate him but MR. Beast is a pioneer of this)
He can become a house hold name. Which he not only deserves but has earned.

@@RomainAxisahey Romaine. A word of advice for advertisement. When reactors on youtube have reacted to the big push. Throw a comment underneath the bands pinned comment like saying thanks to the fans or tag the reactor when the comment back. Tens of thousands of people see those comments and it'll trigger the algorithms of youtube to not only push the band higher in the recommended.
But it will draw your channel up in the algorithm too.
The more "clicks" your channel gets. (Even people just liking your comment under the pinned comment) the higher in the algorithms grid you climb and the more the algorithm will suggest you to other people on their youtube feed.
People have to see and hear you sing man. Seriously
