Great designers! Your top 2 is also mine. Love also Palace Of Carrara. But I’m surprised by the absence of Paris, which is in my top ten of the duo! Îll probably try Terra Pyramides. Thanks for your lights.
I love Cuzco (old name Java), and it is in my top 3 Kramer/Kiesling. The whole landscape thing is so interesting. Tikal is also excellent (best with the "auction" variant). I like Torres too (with all cards on hand variant, you can only play one card each turn, and this card is then lost).

yes, thank you for the list. these duo are underrated. i play games only with family, so kramer/kiesling & knizia games are our favourte designers.

My all time favourite designers. Some interesting games in the list that I haven’t heard of but will definitely try to get hold of. I agree with you, Vikings is a fantastic game.

I really like Riverboat and Paris which didn’t make your list.
I also really enjoy Riverboat but it wasn't a co-design. I think it was Kiesling on his own.
Great list. Vikings is my favourite K&K game - which I finally got hold of secondhand. Still yet to find a copy of Nauticus.
Wow great work; They are my favorite designers. It is very difficult to ranking their games because their games are very different.

Hopefully you can get your hands on Coal Baron the boardgame.. I’d definitely play that over the card game

Thanks for covering these guys, they're some of my favourites. I think pound-for-pound they provide some of the best work for games I'd play in a family setting.
Have you played Porta Nigra? It is one I don't hear about very often.
I haven't tried Porta Nigra unfortunately. I stupidly missed an opportunity to pick it up for next to nothing
That is the worst feeling. I found a used copy a while back. I haven't been able to get the group to table it yet, though 😅 This is putting it back on my radar.

You’re actually the 2nd person I’ve seen rank Kramer/Kiesling that hasn’t played Coal Baron, which is my personal favorite from them. But at least you played the Great Card game. Just not sure how that compares.

El Grande and Vikings are the best games by K2 duel.

Great job! A little bit of criticism though. It’s not really fair in my opinion to call a list ”best of” if you have not played all of the games by the given designer. I know that it might be unrealistic expectation but maybe it would be more accurate to state something like ”top 25……. In my collection”. Having said that I think you are great at communicating essentials of a particular game without annoying filler! 😊
