    A very atmospheric introduction with the mist blowing across the water. The birdsong especially the cuckoo was lovely to listen to. Plus a lovely tench, well done!

    When people ask me why I go fishing I will just send them your film. It's the atmosphere that hooks you I think. The difference between walking in such places & fishing in them is that you magically become a participant in nature when you fish rather than just a spectator. Great work as always.

    Great shots of the bubbles around the float and the bite (I would have struck earlier 😂 )

    Well that's got to be one of the most laid back tench flights I've ever seen ' thought it was a bream at first , Very near the bob Dylan of tench that one . 🤣👍 Lovely bit of film as always

    Thankyou SA, that was beautiful, nice fish too, roll on the 16th, .............. notice how he had the rising sun in his eyes so as not to cast a shadow on the water.

    Love your style of fishing because it's almost identical to mine even using the Drennan specialist awesome video and awesome tackle...

      Hi Keith, I do like the rod as its ability to retract into the handle and fit into a standard rod holdall makes it very useful. Many thanks for commenting.

    Beautiful video. Really captures what it's all about. I've been fishing in exactly the same manner as you so far this season (even down to the same rod) but I find I'm foul hooking a far too many. Do you suffer the same? Any thoughts on how to avoid?

    • @silentangling
      @silentangling  3 месяца назад +1

      It's such a classic technique and when the fish are feeding intensely it can be difficult to avoid. I do find that fishing larger baits and spreading them a bit wider does tend to limit it somewhat as opposed to a tight bed of particle type baits. Hope this helps. many thanks for the time in both watching and commenting.
