Speaking purely regarding results, Michele would be the master and Rob the student. Michele has a 1st and 3rd place finish. Rob has a 10th, 2nd, 13th, 1st, and 17th place finish and Rob won his season against a grossly uneven playing field and Michele was always with peers.
She and jeremy wanted to work with parv and rob, that is why they targeted ethan (to weaken rob and parv) but the swap happened and michele ended up on a tribe with nick and wendell, her real life friends. i guess the swap really screwed the old schoolers
i think this speaks to everyone whose won the game. it doesn't matter who won, or how they won. if you win, you win. everybody whose won deserved it and i mean EVERYONE

It's honestly sad to me that viewers of this reality tv show are so dumb and have absolutely no life that they would seek out a contestant to send them hate just for winning. Like, it's so wild to the point that contestants even dread their seasons being added to streaming services bc they know it will just start up the hate DMs for a season that aired YEARS ago.
Who is Rob to lecture Michele about winning? It took him 4 times to do it (with a season specifically designed for him to win) whilst it took her one shot with all the odds stacked against her... I'm pretty sure he should be the one questioning him being in this cast and not her...
