This is where the cream of the crop of locals, all Brazilians domestically and Europeans come to vacation and invest. For some reason we forgotten this place after the 2014 World Cup. But between 1990 and 2010 there was really a lot of US coming and living here. Rio is better for non Portuguese speakers and Fortaleza for open minded, off the beaten path, explorers, adventurers with more laid back slower pace even though Fortaleza is quickly becoming cosmopolitan. Delta is building a private airport here, Sotheby's is selling real estate, Hard Rock, Radisson, Alchymist International groups and flags are here, Jericoacoara is one of the top ten most famous beaches on the planet. South America's largest Water Park - Beach Park in Porto das Dunas is located 45 minutes from central coastal area. Direct flights from Florida. And the list goes on.
Glad to see one of the lesser known cities in Brazil thats still pretty nice and have easy beach access at a decent price without the chaos of a city like Rio
