Lily - I say this with love, remembering how frustrating it was to shop while pregnant. I wanted it to be easy and it never was. Shopping in straight sizes instead of maternity is like trying to wear a size 2 when you’re a size 6. It’s so easy to feel like something is wrong with you or your body - when the piece of clothing was never designed or meant to fit you in the first place. Find a great label that is designed to fit a pregnant person’s body and I guarantee you will feel so much more confident simply because your clothing fits you well. Yes, fashionable maternity is harder to find than just walking into h&m or something, but I promise it’s out there!
Try looking on Vinted for a wedding guest dress! I’m never sure why people try and buy none maternity and kid themselves they were wear it after, you won’t, it’s an occasion dress that’s going to be too big. Just cut your losses, buy a maternity dress (they have really improved in the last few years) then sell it on again once your done!
I miss going round shopping 🛍 too. A lot of the shops in our town closed like so many others and as much as I like shopping online I miss being able to try stuff on and wander around. The clothes you got for Grey were so cute ☺️. Thanks for taking us along with you!
Loving the vlog. I really dislike Zara nowadays because of their sizing. I feel H&M are doing so well in that department - just thought I’d share. Definitely come out Zara feeling sad more often than not 🙈
What is with zara sizing lately. I bought a pair of trousers in M and normally they would fit me like a glove (and no I haven't put on weght and definitely not pregnant!) but I couldn't get them past my thighs!
We have a Bugaboo Bee and we used that "open" bassinet with no issues at all. She loved it, we don't have those car seats that you pluck in the buggie so she used since a newborn and it was very cozy (she was an autumm baby). She's 5 months now and it's great to have the flexibility of putting it flat if she wants to take a nap, I prefer that over a "fixed" bassinet.
My 2.5 yo still needed a buggy when I had new baby, for longer walks and also to keep her safe in busy areas, we bought a double buggy and kept the single. Good luck with buggy shopping!
Hi Lily, this is all so relatable! Im pregnant also, already with a 3yo, havent had a real opportunity to go by myself, shopping for baby or myself. Or to just be relaxed on my own anywhere really..! Thanks!
We have a just over two year gap between kids and didn't bother with a second buggy. Buggy board with seat/lots of use of baby carrier and we were fine 👍 thankfully as I didn't fancy pushing both around in a big buggy!
Me neither. We also got a cheap and cheerful foldup stroller for the few times we actually needed the second one on a long day and just left it in the boot
Same here. Our older guy had stopped sitting in the buggy by the time 2nd baby came so we didn't bother adapting our buggy or buying a double. I got a wrap for wearing baby for the first 5/6 months and then swapped over to the Ergo carrier when baby got too big for the wrap. We have a board for the buggy that the older guy uses sometimes if he's wrecked but he prefers his scooter. Investing in the wrap was the best thing I did when the baby came. I wore the baby constantly and it left my hands free to keep up with my older boy. You get the hang of tying the wrap after one or two goes and then you can do it in your sleep or sleep deprived haze.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching your come shop with me vlog!! It has calmed my anxiety (hurricane Ida is approaching us) Loved seeing those cute clothes. Thanks for sharing with us.
Dentist don’t love the water flosser, yet I only use one because it’s what was recommended to my stepsister when she had braces for years and her teeth were so clean that you could see your reflection practically.
Loved this! Your shopping experience feels very relatable, especially the mirrors! Have you thought about Kemi Telford for dress? Spenny but wearable forever, they do smocked ones which would fit whatever stage of pregnancy/maternity/life
Oh Lily I really felt for you trying on clothes to wear for a wedding, feeling a bit hot and bothered etc. One of the worst experiences of my life was finding something to wear to a black tie formal military wedding 6 weeks after a c-section premmie birth, and I was literally the size of a whale. I cried my eyes out in the dressing room. I still cringe about what I wore. Please just buy a lovely maternity something for your own self esteem. Much love ❤️ ps looking wonderful as usual 🤗
You are looking so lovely. To me you seem so relaxed, happy, and self confident. Each year seems to be better and better for you. Enjoyed being out and about with you!
I'd recommend Toast for clothes that may fit in pregnancy as well as post baby. Otherwise maternity clothing is the way to go as they will be cut in the right way.
Hiya Lily 🤗 you got some cute bits for baby and Grey. I work pretty near to that Westfield but since we’ve not been working in the office I’ve not looked around those shops for a long time now - there are so many to navigate 🙈 plus I’m not a fan of having to dodge people when it’s busy 😫 I hope you’re having a lovely bank hols weekend so far 😘 xxx
I personally would skip the bassinet. I bought a bugaboo with my firstborn because I didn't trust the bassinet on the yoyo. Regret!! My newborn was mostly carried on my boppy carrier until 4/5 months... Almost never used the stroller during that time. And the yoyo can be used from 6+month onwards and it's way so much lighter!! Should have gotten the yoyo in the first place but hubby was stubborn! I suggest you think seriously about baby carriers during the newborn stage so you can have your two arms free to handle Grey! hahah
Lily!! Why don’t you buy a maternity specific dress for the wedding? I know it’s annoying to buy them when you think you’ll just wear them when pregnant .. BUT I have a couple of nice maternity dresses I wear still now because they can be pulled tighter.
I see the hygienist every 3 months - I’m always being told off. I do floss but apparently my mouth is so small is why I have trouble. 🤷♀️. Good vid. X.
It’s actually quite funny because your brain and body haven’t quite synced, so you see something and imagine how great it’ll look and when you try it on it’s such a shocking fail 😂
Lily, were you by any chance sitting in your car in East Acton? it looked sooooo familiar , i grew up there and only left 5 years ago to move to Bristol!
Hi Lily, if you’re still looking for a nice dress to wear for a wedding, & Other Stories have some really nice long, floaty dresses in store at the minute, which might work really well for you and your bump! 💗
Hi Lily, I agree with Jenna Rose below regarding buying clothes. You cannot expect regular clothes to fit a pregnant body. You have to budget for a few maternity pieces to get you through and hopefully if you have a third baby you can wear the pieces again or pass them to a friend. Did you faint when I said 3rd baby? LOL
Pregnant at the moment too...I feel you, when you try on clothes... If you find anything worth it, please share! Hahaha, you always look gorgeous, thanks for sharing the letdowns too, regards from Spain!
Glad I’m not the only one struggling to buy clothes during pregnancy. Leaving the house has become such a chore because I have barely anything that fits me nicely 😩
Always looking forward to your sunday videos! Fingers crossed you find a nice dress for the wedding! Maybe try Seraphine? I got a dress there when i was pregnant and it still looks nice after the pregnancy!
I wholeheartedly understand worrying about getting overwhelmed! I too used to love a solo shopping trip but the thought fills me with panic since being pregnant. And there’s no chance I’d have the stamina now I’m 35 weeks anyway, but I miss it!!
We already have a YoYo. The Bugaboo was fab for the newborn days and the muddy walks, bur for day to day life the YoYo was amazing. Small enough to store in our hallway, small enough to get in and out of cafes etc and so easy to open up one handed whilst holding a baby
I found it really frustrating watching you trying to buy a dress for the end of your pregnancy from a high street shop that only sells small sizes. Did you really think a size 16 would be big enough to accommodate a bump? I went to Zara once when I was at uni and they told me their biggest size was equivalent to a size 16. I was a size 16 at the time and I tried on a pair of leggings that wouldn't go past my knees. Zara is one of those shitty companies that doesn't want average sized people wearing their clothes. Just buy maternity clothes instead of trying to get things from brands that don't accommodate bigger sizes.
I didn’t realise it had a zip otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered. Sometimes some dress styles fit fine. Most stores dont stock their maternity lines in store, only online, so it’s hard to find many places to try. I like to buy a mix of maternity and non maternity

Try asos!
It’s become a sunday ritual to watch Lily’s vlog❤️
Thank you! x
Same !!!!
I’m missing having a stroll around and shopping! We are currently in lockdown here in Sydney Australia, so it was such a lovely vlog to watch! Xx

@@JessieUpward95 same :(

In Melbourne and same
I’m a Brit that lives in the US so I love watching these ‘mooching around the shops’ videos when I miss home 🤎
me too… AZ (sometimes SC) here!!!Grocery shops always make me miss certain things, and the clothes stores are not quite the same here..
Awww, yay!
Thanks for taking us shopping! I miss living in London and heading to the mall, so was nice to be 'back'! x

Yep I’m glad it’s not just me! Their sizes are all over the place.
Absoluetly adore you! thanks for being so honest about shopping can sometimes be so overwhelming xxxxx

That grey bing T-shirt is so nice, the colour really suits you 😍

Nostalgic to see Westfield Stratford...when I lived in London I lived in Bow so was very close to WS!

Thanks for taking us along. Obviously not travelling so seeing any other part of the country or world is enjoyable!😊
Thoroughly enjoyed watching your come shop with me vlog!! It has calmed my anxiety (hurricane Ida is approaching us) Loved seeing those cute clothes. Thanks for sharing with us.
Lily, your videos on Sunday mornings are such a treat 😘
Loved yo-yo, life saver for air travels and in/out the car. Clothes , my fav is newbie (fabrics are amazing and look is classic fab)
I have those trainers that you tried in and they are so comfortable!
Thanks for taking us around the shops! Nice to see! Wish I could have teleported over to London to do some shopping through the screen!
Only just seen this but I wanted to say options for a wheeled option for Grey might be a trike, balance bike or scooter
i have those ventura veja trainers and they are my absolute favorite ones! i got them from arket :)
Where I live the workweek starts on Sunday and your videos ease me into the week every time 💗
I love love love this video! It's so down to earth and relatable for all women - pregnant or not. Thank you!!! xx

Thank you, that’s nice to hear.
Asos maternity has a really good selection of casual and formal dresses 😊
We have the yoyo bassinet, it's great. The newborn pack (the old one) folds with the buggy though, so that's good for travelling
I'd recommend Toast for clothes that may fit in pregnancy as well as post baby. Otherwise maternity clothing is the way to go as they will be cut in the right way.

Have you looked at the Hatch Collection for the wedding guest dress? They have some really nice options.
Loved this Lily, thank you! 💛 Also, shoutout to Parenting Hell podcast - I love it too 😂 (…and I’m not even a parent!)
Thanks for showing the Babyzen. I’m strongly considering it for baby for our second child.
Have a nice holiday Sun- Mon! Nice to be back to normal (kind of)! The stripped sweater is really nice and suits you !
Once I decided to just buy maternity stuff I felt soooo much better with the cuts of the clothes
Omg! Never this early! Love you Lily, hope you’re having fabulous summer ✨🤍

One of THE best videos EVERRR
Such a fun video! Thanks for boosting my mood 💕

I think you look so cool and lovely in that striped jumper!!

This has made me really want to go up to London and shop! Sadly so many of our towns shops have closed down and its not as lovely as it used to be xx
White lotus was amazing! Enjoy
I’m jealous that you are so confident driving in London on your own! I can’t do it even with my husband in the car with me! Xx
Trying out clothes it’s awful for me anyways, can’t imagine pregnant 😅
It’s actually quite funny because your brain and body haven’t quite synced, so you see something and imagine how great it’ll look and when you try it on it’s such a shocking fail 😂
@@lilypebbles 😂 so true it's like we don't see ourselfs
Lovely vlog ! H & M have some shirt dresses with nice colours which might work for you for the wedding xx ❤️
Lily, were you by any chance sitting in your car in East Acton? it looked sooooo familiar , i grew up there and only left 5 years ago to move to Bristol!
I feel the same , am in lockdown in NZ, and I had a massive panic attack driving the car and supermarket shopping after 10 days at home .
Hi Lily, if you’re still looking for a nice dress to wear for a wedding, & Other Stories have some really nice long, floaty dresses in store at the minute, which might work really well for you and your bump! 💗
Hey Lily great video and you're looking great! What size is your Bing tee? Thanks

The baby section in John Lewis Oxford Circus is amazing, it’s huge!
Pregnant at the moment too...I feel you, when you try on clothes... If you find anything worth it, please share! Hahaha, you always look gorgeous, thanks for sharing the letdowns too, regards from Spain!
I love those plain white sleepsuits from John Lewis, can't wait to order them for baby #3, I hope they are shipping them to Portugal again!
Also, thank you for posting so early, it really is awesome for us involuntary weekend early risers!
Covent Garden..... it has everything now and spaces so well designed
We're did you buy you little hops earrings from ? 😊
Gold sack of potatoes
Cracked me up 🤣🤣
Where are your middle hoops from???? Love them!
Loved this old school style video!
Glad I’m not the only one struggling to buy clothes during pregnancy. Leaving the house has become such a chore because I have barely anything that fits me nicely 😩
The kid clothes were so cute! Sometimes I wish they came in adult sizes
love the Bing shirt!
Golden sack of potatoes 🤣
We love you Lily!
What about maternity brands for a dress for the wedding??
Ahh love you Lily 🥰 xx
Loved this!
Hi lily Bugaboo do a really good buggy board seat to fit onto your pram. Maybe check it out. Nice to see you vloging again. 🙂
Always looking forward to your sunday videos! Fingers crossed you find a nice dress for the wedding! Maybe try Seraphine? I got a dress there when i was pregnant and it still looks nice after the pregnancy!
I loved Lindex, but they left the German market in 2006. :(
Love it to watch your Vlogs ❤️
Loved this 💕💕
Always watch on Sunday evening in bed 👍🏻
I think pregnancy is suiting you Lily your glowing. Xx
Loved it!!
Love this xxx
Love it!! 🥰
Why not a long body con dress with something pretty and light and open over top?
2.2 yr age gap and I used a Phil & Ted for years.
I wholeheartedly understand worrying about getting overwhelmed! I too used to love a solo shopping trip but the thought fills me with panic since being pregnant. And there’s no chance I’d have the stamina now I’m 35 weeks anyway, but I miss it!!

The "Best friend ever" written on that Minnie mouse top doesn't make any sense? 🤣
Omg people sneeze in your sleeve ! I thought everybody learned at least that the past year ^^
Write it down? Why don't you just take a photo of your parking space/number with your phone?
Because all the info isn’t in one place. I needed the aisle, the level, the lift exit.
#ShoesNeverBetray
please dont take off your mask in the changing room, its a closed space
A closed space with no one else in it? Masks are not compulsory now
I don't know where you're from but in England, masks are optional now. It might be different if you're in another country
But aerosols stay in the air. From you and from anyone before you... (Unless it was ventilated really well)
