doc had another album helter skelter imo great album start to end and his destroyed voice actually sounded alot cooler. personally never was a fan of his first album. funky was good, but he re did it in his damaged voice and sounded better. that album is highly slept on and wasnt very much promoted.
i agree when he was shot i was 14 my gf called me crying, i thought hes a good rapper but who cares there is so many other artists. the more that the years go on i listen to something and see it different. sometimes hell rap about something he saw in the news and i have to do alot of digging online on the subject and im like howd he get so much info on a topic at sucha young age pre internet. itll be like one liners now that i over evaluate that he wrote in seconds. it didnt sink in how important his music was until over the years. as a kid listening i thought he was just like everyone else. then more and more stuff come out after his death, videos, music, truth. and its mind blowing
@@MelodicsRareMusicVid and died at 25, and did so much for 2 lifes over. Music alone that is still in the vault, unreleased. Its wild how smart and aware he was at such a young age, and i completely agree with you.
