- Ride along with Truck 26 of the Los Angeles City Fire department. Lightforce 26 is responding to a motor vehicle accident. At the same time engine 26 also got a call so you can see Truck 26, engine 26 and engine 226 responding together for a while. Lightforce 26 consists of Truck 26 and Engine 226, both units always respond together. At the end when Lightforce 26 is coming back to the station you can see Heavy Rescue 56 leaving the station. They stopped by for a short visit.
Innenaufnahme einer Alarmfahrt von Leiter 26 der Feuerwehr Los Angeles zu einem Verkehrsunfall. Zeittgleich wurde auch Löschfahrzeug 26 zu einem anderen Einsatz alarmiert. Für längere Zeit fahren also Drehleiter 26 und die Löschfahrzeuge 26 und 226 in einem Löschzug-ähnlichen Konvoi. Lightforce 26 besteht aus Leiter 26 sowie Löschfahrzeug 226. Beide Fahrzeuge rücken grundsätzlich gemeinsam aus. Am Ende als Lightforce 26 zur Wache zurückkommt sieht man noch den Heavy Rescue 56, eine Art schwerer Abschleppwagen. Die Besatzung hat an der Wache einen kurzen Zwischenstopp gemacht.

Awesome video! The firetruck do not have the Q2B siren?
That's just how it is in certain departments, here in Dallas, Texas some of the Fire Trucks don't have the Q2B but for the most part they all do have them, I guess it's just this truck as I'm sure that LAFD had the Q on a lot of their trucks.

Why the hell to car accident a ladder was send?
the ladder truck is like a giant tool box. they have what it takes to deal with car accidents.
Cesar Parvool You say, that this "giant tool box" cannot be on smaller truck, and the huge ladder only can be it? I just don't understand it. Regulations, or something probably force the fighters to take a ladder, but what kind of ... made those regs and thought "yes, that's the way how to do that, send a huge ladder to cut the electric wires and clean up the road from liquids".
Umm there are smaller ladder trucks in service around the world but they don't have the space for equipment like all the ladders that this truck can carry. also, sometimes a light force is the closest resource available for a call so they are also dispatched for any other type of incident marvu00
Also the truck carries all the hydraulic equipment such as the jaws of life that simply can't fit in the engines.
Lissa Deushane In EU you won't see this many ladders. Hydraulics, scissors, rescue bag, 6 firefighters, 1 thousand galloons of water, all of it can be on smaller trucks, as we have in EU. Only one this truck can "do" the "normal" accident and there is no need to send long ladder, which is slower on tight city streets.
