Whether it's been West Brom, England or Brighton, Dan Ashworth has made successful policies and improvements during his employment. As a neutral PL fan who supports a L1 club I wish him him all the best in the role he has at St James' Park! In my opinion he's an asset for football in general whoever he works for. Great video topic choice FD creative and editorial Team!
Newcastle fans deserve this, no one seemed to care about them when their owner neglected them for years. They were competing with Manchester United at one point and faced relegations, a lack of investment and more importantly a lock of respect and love from Mike Ashley.
I think any Newcastle who actually looks at this stuff is absolutely over the moon with his imminent appointment. I'm really excited because it looks like they're doing everything the right way, bringing in the right type of people not just the biggest names.
As a Newcastle fan I 100% agree, these are really exciting times made all the better with what seems like somewhat inexperienced owners doing a good job in not just throwing money at it and hoping it sticks but really carefully having plans in place and recruiting cleverly for the future.
I love the way it’s going for us now , year on year improvement will do for me after 14 years of Ashley & Charnley . Jeez I know Derby are in a bucket of shite BUT Mike Ashley & Lieutenant Charnley should not be within 10 miles of ANY football club .
That was a fantastic video 👏🏼👏🏼 Yes as a Toon fan this appointment would be brilliant. The whole club is being reinvigorated from top to bottom and someone with his pedigree being involved is such a positive. I still can't quite believe this is all happening at Newcastle.
It’s good to see us doing this the right way. I was worried we would do an Everton and spunk money on dross but with Asworth and a young manager like Howe I can see us doing really well. Maybe europa league in the next 2-3 seasons hopefully
@@mkodyglobalsouthsoldier it really depends look at Everton. However Ashworth and the guy we hired in January clearly know what they are doing. Howe as manager we could even finish top 6 next year it really just depends as look at West Ham under Moyes. Went from a relegation scrap to 6th in 1 season
Every day it’s good news, our owners just done an interview with The Athletic this morning which was class. Just ticking every single box, even little stuff other fans may not value like moving the Shearer statue next to the Sir Bobby one, chancing NINE bar back to “Shearers” and wanting to get past players back at the club in ambassador roles. They just get it, I can’t explain it
They sure are good businessmen... Do you not care at all where the money comes from and what those people think about any sort of human rights? But sure they want to hire back some old players at club ambassadors.

With Ashworth and Howe, Newcastle brought 2 people pretty young (for their job), not well known, but who already proves that they're very competent, in particular to make progress a club It's the anti-PSG
Joe Willok , if given the patience and trust. He will be a top Striker. Think the new Harry Kane who's creative in midfield and deadly in the box. That's how Joe will evolve.
He is in great form and a goal threat, but apart from that, his playing style is nothing like Harry Kane's. He doesn't even play the same position as Kane. Joe Willock is a midfielder. Not a striker.
Willock average mate calm down he’s no Harry Kane and never will be 😂😂 nervous on the ball and decision making is awful. Fair play he picks up goals when needed tho 👌
As a Baggie, Ashworth leaving for England was the beginning of the wheels coming off in regards to our recruitment and infrastructure. The Albions (plural) loss is certainly Newcastle's gain.

Newcastle to Brighton: "We want Dan"
Brighton: "Burn or Ashworth?"
Newcastle: "yes"
Was surprised they sold Dan burn I think he’s a more solid defender than Duffy although Duffy is probably more of a threat from set pieces
