I loved her too she was the best definitely from among all the girls ted had. She was the one. Robin was ok for ted but I preferred Tracy. But one thing I know Robin was better compared to that psycho police and zoey. Can’t stand zoey
Büsra Can Robin was ok but she is like the typical girl who runs after a guy when he is already taken like if he were a toy . I feel like for her most of the time everything is a whim. And she regretted about ted when he was already with Tracy with kids and she divorcing barney which is not fair.
It's the part i live the most. I wish there was more about Tracy. She played that part perfectly. I cried. When you loved someone too much, you may never love again, that's what i feel.
I wish we could see Tracey and Max's love story because it seems quite magical and intense considering how deeply Tracey still loved him six years later after he was gone. It's like we don't know a huge part of this amazing characters journey before she met Ted and we don't know the man that was clearly so close to her heart.
And I think that's the beauty.The show lets you as a viewer decide how the relationship probably looked like.The show only sets the standard of it being very intense and ideal, given the way they bring Max up and building the mothers story around him so closely. I think its great that they didn't show concrete scenes of them together. The magic of it remains :)
The best thing is that we barely knew anything about Max and Tracy's love story but I cried so hard during the scene where she asked Max if it was okay to move on

I still can't believe that Ted ended up with Robin after she rejected him for the millionth time it felt forced. I bet they broke up like a week after the finale. Their relationship is toxic (not the first time around but all the other times Ted said he loved her)
Yeah If you noticed ted actually truly loved her for real otherwise he would have gone for robin after one year of her death instead it took for him 6 years.
Taking a moment to appreciate how a character I barely know, whom was introduced at the end of a final season of a long show made me sob after a 4.26 second scene.
She is a really great actor, and way too adorable to not fall in love with... Let's give the creators credit for casting the perfect Mother. I don't think anyone else would have fit the bill.

Just a theory: I think her story with Max is supposed to be sort of analogous to what Ted goes through years later when she passes.. Its sort of a foreshadowing moment imo.

The music which played when she said goodbye to Max is the same music which plays when Ted imagines going to Tracy to tell her that they are going to meet in 45 days. I don't think it is coincidental that both of them were talking to people that they knew were *spoiler alert* dead.

It's so heartbreaking at 3:25 when she can't let go of the railing. Her face shows how much pain she is in at having to do this and how hard it is and she turns back because she just wants one more moment. It's clear that even six years later she's struggling and missing him so much and wishing he was there with her and she wasn't having to let him go. We haven't even seen Max but you can literally feel how deeply Tracey loved him and you can tell that any guy would be lucky to have her love because she loved with everything she had and her love was very different to any other woman's on the show.
I guess she permitted it back in 2024 while they both were hooking for the last time in Farhampton inn;when she was saying to Ted,'I don't want you to be the guy who lives on his stories,life only moves forward'....This was an indirect message to him for moving on if she die,because they both knew what was coming

Because they both felt so alone until they met each other more so probably Tracey because she lost the man she loved to death and was struggling to move on.
We had Tracy's story for one episode we didn't know her beforehand but yet we feel so emotional for her, because all this time without meeting her we knew her anyway because of Ted's story
She was with Ted for 11 happy years. They fell in love, started a family, and built a life together. But life isn't always fair it wasn't to Tracy or Ted the time they had was short but precious. They healed each other and despite the pain of knowing she would succumb to her illness, we know even after all these years Ted still loves her, his 45 days speech cements that.
Not really,Max died almost 20 years earlier than Tracy died;a lot can change in that 20 year.....I wish instead Robin-Ted relation doesn’t work again and Ted can meet Tracy in the heaven too😊
It's heartwarming that Destiny didn't gave chance to both TED & TRACY to meet before they let go of their past loves (Robin & Max respectively). After they both moved on peaceful..... Destiny has showed the way to unite them. TED & TRACY forever❤
My mom felt this way. Caught her crying because she was proposed to by my now-stepdad but she felt guilty for trying to move on after my dad’s death. My mom and stepdad have been together since 1999 and married since 2007 and I’m happy he’s been there for us.
This is the reason why ted and tracy are perfect for each other. They helped each other get over their ex's and started a new good life. And the writers kills her off

Aghhh!!! How did this show introduce and give so much amazing context to the highly anticipated mother so perfectly and somehow screw up the ending. Man I loved her character. I wish we got to see more of her and ted's relationship in...well...linear time.

Tracy finally got to be with max in the end and ted finally got to be with robin , they were the people that they were in love with from the beginning.
Only they spend nine episodes telling us ted and robin wouldn’t work. Than they pulled the rug out. Yes game of thrones did the same thing but it’s based on a book that has a great author. HIMYM has lousy writers

Ted and Tracy loved each other so much. But Tracy's heart always belonged to Max and Ted's heart always belonged to Robin. That's what made them such a great couple. They couldn't be with the people they really wanted to be with, but found great love anyway
The fact that she was still holding on to Max after 6 years of him passing and the fact that Ted reunited with Robin after 6 years of her passing is just scripted coincidence but obviously goes on to show the commonalities that both Ted and Tracy shared in the cycles of life, love and death.
this was the original broadcast, they made a mistake with Ted saying "for a couple of years it was fine" because it wasn't couple of years, they dated from April 2012 to May 2013, they realized they had made mistake and changed the line into "for a little while there it was fine" and that's how it was in reruns and the DVD
I wish we had gotten a spinoff with Tracy as the lead. Make us attached to Max even if we know about his fate plus why Tracy still chose to be with Louis.
In my humblest opinion, there's something magical about Tracy. She has this adorable personality that makes me want to hug her and protect her 💙 Her background story makes me loved her so much, when she says I think I won the lottery with the first ticket I bought and I'm sure I'm never going to win again, that's why I stopped buying tickets. That's when I thought, maybe she's right, maybe she found her one already and when she dies I can't help but think she was right. I would have loved to see her relationship with Ted, because I just wasn't sure Ted would be the one for her, even when I know she's supposed to be the one.
For those who didn’t get the final they finally get back their true love at the end. For ted she was robin and for tracy he was max (when she died they get together again)

I don't think you get the show if you think like this. All along they were showing Tracey as the one. They were saying she was his buried treasure and the one for him so I guess the end was showing that there isn't just one person for you. That you can love and then lose it and move on. I don't think Tracey and Max can be compared to Ted and Robin. Tracey and Max were seperated by death when they wanted to be together. Robin and Ted kept splitting up and not wanting to be together because of themselves. There's a huge difference. Ted and Robin at the end almost feels like settling because Robin was alone and so was Ted.
I would like to think, obviously tracy has told ted about this, and that future ted had the same moment as that final goodbye but just as tracy couldn’t quite do it that future ted also couldn’t quite do it and is the reason why he needed his kids ok to finally take that step but would never ask it which is why the kids were the ones to initiate the conversation
Tracy was too good for Ted. She found the love of her life by 21 and when she lost him she handed the loss with dignity. She mourned him and tried to move on while also trying to be a decent friend and person she figured out she wanted to help people so she continued her studies. And she didn't date around aimlessly , she resisted Luis at the beginning and she broke up with him when he proposed because she was honest with herself. Meanwhile Ted would gave married Stella with no second thought, he was so obsessed with the one that he started rejecting and hurting women left and right, he treated Victoria awful and could never move on from Robin which was his karma throughout the series.But in the end Tracy who has only been with two people in her life and was always serious about love ended up with the number 2 womaniser after barney who wore his heart at his sleeve for almost every woman he met. How is that fair
The scene where she talks to Max is one of the best in the series. Phenomenal actress and character. Having Ted return to Robin was awful writing, it completely undermines the entire premise of the show.
Maybe I'm thinking it way too much, but I guess the writer wrote it in a way that both Tracy and Ted eventually reunited with the one they loved the most that is Ted with Robin and Tracy with Max after she died.
She was awesome , likely not fully appreciated by Lois , sometimes we just click with a person , & destiny , the universe tell you what to do , but it if it’s not reciprocated that’s not love , my humble opinion is ,when you fall in love , you do things like attending a soccer game in a rainy day & get soaking wet , or drive all the way to attend a funeral (one that you didn’t get invited) where only God know the localization..then just to got your car broken in the middle of the highway waiting to be rescued , that’s what love make you do , but it if you are not fully appreciated , then as a Tracy did it’s time to move on .
I can never understand why Ted could even go back to Robin after finding Tracy.. she’s literally his perfect soulmate with the same sense of humor and both women are so far in character comparison, if he wanted to move on he should find someone like tracy him and robin just wont work out ever, in any timeline, theyre just too different and doesnt make sense

Ted and Tracy loved each other so much. But Tracy's heart always belonged to Max and Ted's heart always belonged to Robin. That's what made them such a great couple. They couldn't be with the people they really wanted to be with, but found great love anyway

The fact that she was still holding on to Max after 6 years of him passing and the fact that Ted reunited with Robin after 6 years of her passing is just scripted coincidence but obviously goes on to show the commonalities that both Ted and Tracy shared in the cycles of life, love and death.

this was the original broadcast, they made a mistake with Ted saying "for a couple of years it was fine" because it wasn't couple of years, they dated from April 2012 to May 2013, they realized they had made mistake and changed the line into "for a little while there it was fine" and that's how it was in reruns and the DVD

I wish we had gotten a spinoff with Tracy as the lead. Make us attached to Max even if we know about his fate plus why Tracy still chose to be with Louis.

In my humblest opinion, there's something magical about Tracy. She has this adorable personality that makes me want to hug her and protect her 💙 Her background story makes me loved her so much, when she says I think I won the lottery with the first ticket I bought and I'm sure I'm never going to win again, that's why I stopped buying tickets. That's when I thought, maybe she's right, maybe she found her one already and when she dies I can't help but think she was right. I would have loved to see her relationship with Ted, because I just wasn't sure Ted would be the one for her, even when I know she's supposed to be the one.

I don't think you get the show if you think like this. All along they were showing Tracey as the one. They were saying she was his buried treasure and the one for him so I guess the end was showing that there isn't just one person for you. That you can love and then lose it and move on. I don't think Tracey and Max can be compared to Ted and Robin. Tracey and Max were seperated by death when they wanted to be together. Robin and Ted kept splitting up and not wanting to be together because of themselves. There's a huge difference. Ted and Robin at the end almost feels like settling because Robin was alone and so was Ted.

Tracy was too good for Ted. She found the love of her life by 21 and when she lost him she handed the loss with dignity. She mourned him and tried to move on while also trying to be a decent friend and person she figured out she wanted to help people so she continued her studies. And she didn't date around aimlessly , she resisted Luis at the beginning and she broke up with him when he proposed because she was honest with herself.
Meanwhile Ted would gave married Stella with no second thought, he was so obsessed with the one that he started rejecting and hurting women left and right, he treated Victoria awful and could never move on from Robin which was his karma throughout the series.But in the end Tracy who has only been with two people in her life and was always serious about love ended up with the number 2 womaniser after barney who wore his heart at his sleeve for almost every woman he met. How is that fair

Having Ted return to Robin was awful writing, it completely undermines the entire premise of the show.
Max dying led Tracy to Ted and Tracy dying led Ted back to Robin. It's a cruel circle of life but had max not died she would never been with Ted.

Maybe I'm thinking it way too much, but I guess the writer wrote it in a way that both Tracy and Ted eventually reunited with the one they loved the most that is Ted with Robin and Tracy with Max after she died.

She was awesome , likely not fully appreciated by Lois , sometimes we just click with a person , & destiny , the universe tell you what to do , but it if it’s not reciprocated that’s not love , my humble opinion is ,when you fall in love , you do things like attending a soccer game in a rainy day & get soaking wet , or drive all the way to attend a funeral (one that you didn’t get invited) where only God know the localization..then just to got your car broken in the middle of the highway waiting to be rescued , that’s what love make you do , but it if you are not fully appreciated , then as a Tracy did it’s time to move on .
