Loving these cruise videos! As a potter/ ceramic artist I wanted to mention one thing… the ceramic pieces are not hand sculpted. Not to belittle the beautiful glazing and craftsmanship of the elders, but they are most likely commercial ceramic molds. So this does keep the costs down. I love that you are such staunch supporters of hand made in all forms!
I would LOVE to recommend a "vlogging while on vacay" podcast/YT vid because the two of you are killing the vlogging game during this trip. 🤎 Super informative.
We were so lucky on our Alaskan cruise last year in May. It never rained the entire week and was like 70 or more the entire time. I even sat on my balcony in bare feet and a T shirt through part of Glacier Bay!
The little clam shell, Sherri can put her small earrings or rings in. What a beautiful video you guys! OMG those spine urchin earrings are so beautiful and how unique! The fog was so eerie. You both looked so great for dinner! That scallop looked so delicious and in fact your whole meal looked so good!
After seeing this video, I purchased The Great Alone. Oh my goodness, it was so good. It was such a good read, I couldn't put it down. It's a very sad and loving read. Thank you for sharing this book. And can I just say you two are as cute as a button. I smile after watching you guys. Your love for each other is beautiful ❤❤
You two are one of the sweetest couples I've ever seen. I love your videos. This one makes me think I need to start looking into booking an Alaska cruise in the near future and make sure it stops in Sitka!!
In Denmark we call the bid dipper "karlsvognen". Directly translated karls wagon. Karl is a word for man and vognen is wagon, so in essence it would be the mans wagon in English 😄
You mentioned a reading list - have you guys ever thought about doing a read-a-long/book club? You could give us a book to read and have a video at the end of the month to talk about it
wow I love the history!!! I would have to buy a gift from the pioneer home that is so amazing. what a great memory. The dragon is so beautiful. I need the quotes from that shop - so funny. My oldest son would live in the book store - I always get worried when he says he is going to Powell's in portland 😀
Thank you so very much for sharing your experience with us 💚. I truly enjoy seeing all the places you go, places I will never experience myself. I am unbelievably grateful and appreciative of your time ❤
I am so glad you found the Pioneer home gift shop! We visited Sitka on May 2nd as our first port on our very first cruise to Alaska and I bought so many ceramic pieces there. I also loved that the cafeteria was called the Gold Miner Diner.. so cute :)
Wasn’t there a Radio Shack in the Proposal movie, too, that Sherri mentioned? Ha! The gift shop at the senior residence really made my day watching your video, love how the funds go back to their programs.
Oh my goodness Sherri, as soon as you said you were in Sitka, I wondered if we would see anything to do with the movie The Proposal. HAHAHA "To the Window, To the Wall"..... haha
We visited Sitka on a cruise with Holland America 7 years ago. The itinerary was changed just weeks before leaving, from Skagway to Sitka. My husband was so disappointed not to be able to go on the White Pass Railway. We were going with friends so we didn’t want to cancel so we went with it. Sitka was amazing and we were so glad that we got to go there. As you said it is not easy to find an itinerary with Sitka on it. We also found the Pioneer Home and went in the gift shop. We were just as thrilled as you were and also bought a few things. One thing we got to do is watch a dance company at the Community Centre who did traditional Russian/Ukranian dances. They had travelled all over the world and they were fabulous! We enjoyed the church too and also visited a home that was historically restored, I believe it was the Russian Bishop’s house. I would recommend that if it is still open. We would go back to Sitka any time. My husband had to wait 7 years to get to Skagway but we just came back from that cruise and the White Pass Railway excursion did not disappoint.
U guys are my favorite comfort RUclipsr ❤🎉. Alaskan cruise is on our bucket list too. I went on my first princess cruise in march. Just on california coast. But been watching your videos to prepared . We went on the discovery also. Love you guys
Thanks for sharing Sitka with us. Interesting and beautiful little town. A list of readings about Alaska would be fabulous. I love the gift shop finds. You guys looked sharp all dressed up.😊
I can hardly wait to get off work and watch this. You guys do an awesome job! We’ve done a couple Alaskan cruises, but so excited for May 2025. We’re doing a 17 day Princess Alaskan cruise, Seattle to Seattle. So many new ports and glaciers.
The gift shop was awesome. I would have bought the puffin and a killer whale for my shelf above my computer. I like the teapot also to put a teabag on. at the senior center
I am enjoying the Tales of "Sea LEGGS" . Last 3 mornings I have been so excited to login to PC, get a Drink and a snack and enjoy your Vlog. I worry about tendering from ship to shore and back since I am as unsteady on my feed as a new born deer. Adam you are looking so Dapper. Bow ties IMHO are your Jam . Sherri not sure how you do it but you look elegant yet comfortable :). I really like your Black Dress. Looked great on you .
We normally don't like the tender ports, but Seabourn did SUCH a great job! We never had any issues and they made sure everyone, regardless of mobility, was safe and taken care of.
Wow! You guys got alot of great stuff! Sitka looks like a great place to live thanks you both look great dressed up love the hat Adam nice touch thanks for sharing your videos ❤😊
Never got to stop in Sitka, so loved this interesting, scenic, and town view video! (With a Radio Shack!) I love the bread sticks too. Might not be good etiquette but dip in butter. Also, Bigfoot tee's are the best!!!😂😊
You guyyyyys!! It’s taking everything in me not to binge watch all these video. By the way, I can’t wait to show this to Steve because he was a RadioShack manager for 20+ years until they went out of business so he will be shocked that there’s one still in Alaska. 😂
We went to Sitka last week but we docked at the pier. We went on a excursion but others took the shuttle to town, that was the longest line I have ever seen.
We are about to go on this same cruise. We were turned off by the literature that said you had to wear a tux to get into the restaurant after 6pm. It looks like that really isn't true. You guys looked great, and that's the attire we want to wear. Can we get into the restaurant without a tux and ballroom gown.
I think I already told you guys we were in Aruba while you were on your cruise. And we saw RadioShack in Aruba and we all said wow they still exist. It’s so funny that you saw one too.
Loved Sitka! When we went on our Alaskan cruise May of 2023 it didn’t rain once! It was sun and like 60s the entire time we were there! It was wild! All of the locals were like “this never happens” 😂
Sitka is where we saw many beautiful bald eagles. We visited that gift shop as well and bought a few pieces. They also had a cute little pharmacy/ soda shop.. was very 50s like.
Suggestion, for those of us who may never make it to Alaska, please post the website for these store if they have them. AND the Churches. I would love a CD from the Cathedral
Petit fours is French for small oven. Named after the ovens these pastries were baked in. It doesn't refer to the English number four. Even when there are four petit fours. ;-)
When you were sitting in your reading nook in the main lobby area talking about nobody being around, is that the ship moving or are you naturally swaying. Was making me motion sick to watch! So my question, do either of you get motion sick and how did it compare to being on a larger ship?
“Falling” was SO good! Such a quick read! Loved it! “Drowning” is the follow-up book and it’s great too.
Loving these cruise videos!

Loved you haul! The ship is rockin!! Look at those curtains! Sleep tight 😴😴

Pretty sure you have helped the Pioneer Home gift shop by showing it and talking about it. They should become recipients of “The Legg Life Effect”. 😀
Thanks for sharing Sitka Day. Looks like you had a good day, even in the rain. ☔️
It really was a wonderful day! You know it’s a great place when you can have so much fun even in the rain
I never knew the duck fart came from Alaska! 🤣 watching from Kodiak. What a great trip!

Will be on our Alaska cruise in 2 weeks!! Love watching your videos!!
Yes, please make an Alaska book list! I'm coming next year and I want to read up before my cruise.
You mentioned a reading list - have you guys ever thought about doing a read-a-long/book club? You could give us a book to read and have a video at the end of the month to talk about it
Alaska gift shops are the best! But I have to say that little gift shop at the senior center was amazing and I’m so glad you guys went in there.

Great video of Sitka. Today was my birthday and I kissed a Reindeer, went dog mushing in an ATV, and cuddled three-week-old puppies. Awesome day.
Wasn’t there a Radio Shack in the Proposal movie, too, that Sherri mentioned? Ha! The gift shop at the senior residence really made my day watching your video, love how the funds go back to their programs.
I love learning the history
You guys look great. Thanks for bringing us along. Going through a bit of time right now and voices, adventures and excitement helps.
Your purchases were beautiful.
You should make the shell into a Christmas ornament. Also, y’all keep making my alaska bucket list longer and longer
Dragons!!
I read The Great Alone on my Celebrity Alaskan cruise in 2022. Very good.
that caviar party is so wonderfully over the top haha its like "ah yes this is where my cruise fare is going" xD
Ahahahaha! It was amaaaazing! People kept going up for more and more!
Oh my goodness Sherri, as soon as you said you were in Sitka, I wondered if we would see anything to do with the movie The Proposal. HAHAHA "To the Window, To the Wall"..... haha
Love this! And loved The Proposal! Didn’t hurt Ryan Reynolds saying my name over and over🤣
You're spoiling me with videos of your fabulous trip everyday! I get to wake up and have my coffee with you two!

Sitka is beautiful, thank you for sharing!
You're very welcome! Thanks for watching
Sherri, you are hilarious, I always think about The Proposal when I hear about Sitka. It does look beautiful. Some of those ‘sayings’ are hilarious.
We should have watched The Proposal on the ship before going to Sitka! That would have been fun!
Definitely need a reading list

Sitka is one of those towns we definitely think people should visit if they can!
You guyyyyys!! It’s taking everything in me not to binge watch all these video. By the way, I can’t wait to show this to Steve because he was a RadioShack manager for 20+ years until they went out of business so he will be shocked that there’s one still in Alaska. 😂
There is a national historical park in Sitka
When we went to Alaska last yr in May it was nice no rain we didn’t go to Sitka but Skagway. I’d love to visit there next yr. ❤ the videos !
My last time in Sitka was beautiful and sunny as well. It's always a stunning town, but when the sun is shining... wow!
Hello Adam and Sherri, it's always such a pleasure watching your videos and the smiles on your face...❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for watching!
Thanks for letting us Cruise with you 😊
Thank you for watching! We hope you're enjoying these videos!
We went to Sitka last week but we docked at the pier. We went on a excursion but others took the shuttle to town, that was the longest line I have ever seen.
Thank you for the great vlog. Question: during you dinner the comment was "very big waves". Did you feel the ship moving a lot?
You’re missing out if you haven’t been doing champagne and caviar in your stateroom each day before dinner. So tasty!

Our pleasure! So glad you enjoyed it!
I really want to take an Alaskan Cruise after watching all of your cruise videos. I say that after all of your Alaskan Cruise videos 😂.
Lol! Sheri, I was thinking of the movie also!! I didn’t know it wasn’t filmed in Sitka!!! Darn. Just where is that incredible home at then??
I'm pretty sure most of it was filmed in Massachusets! Crazy, right?!
This series is soooo awesome!! I am getting so excited for my alaska cruise
I'm glad you're enjoying these videos! We're only halfway done with this series too!
You guys need an Alaska map and put pins in all the areas you have visited!
Sitka is where we saw many beautiful bald eagles. We visited that gift shop as well and bought a few pieces. They also had a cute little pharmacy/ soda shop.. was very 50s like.

Ahhhhhhhhh! Good to know!
That gift shop is so cool, what a great idea!
What was the name of that whisky drink you had??
It's called a Duck Fart!
Will all of your ports require tender ports? We got back a few weeks ago from an Alaskan cruise and we didn’t have to take 1 tender boat.
When you were sitting in your reading nook in the main lobby area talking about nobody being around, is that the ship moving or are you naturally swaying. Was making me motion sick to watch! So my question, do either of you get motion sick and how did it compare to being on a larger ship?
What’s your favorite city in Alaska -is it Sitka?
Beautiful church but mine is older like 800 years old. Are u going to introduce the captain and other staff to duck farts?
