I find this psalm so relatable. A few months ago I was overcome by this fear of death and aging. It was so intense I felt dread every waking hour. I was raised Christian and I always believed in God but I didn't seek him out. I saw my relationship with him as important but something I would get to in the future. But in my moment of crisis, I didn't know what else to do but turn to him, and he freed me from my burden. I felt relief for the first time in weeks. I was so happy I almost cried. God's love is truly great.
Amen, I spent my whole childhood being tormented by my family because I would have panic attacks thinking about death. I am now a grown man ,scarred, but grown and Our Lord is my best friend because he showed me death is only scary if living in sin.
